Gracie at T-Mobile store 412 at SE 119th & SE Division in Portland was nothing short of wonderful. She's knowledgeable, patient, supportive, and super helpful. My phone was stolen, and she helped me complete the replacement procedure, going above and beyond what was required of her. She explained the process perfectly. I didn't have a way to complete my insurance claim online, so she walked me through it herself. I'm now waiting on my new phone. Thanks, Gracie. I hope you get many more positive reviews. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff assisted my migration to a new phone, as well as adding a second line and activating a smart watch. All of the above operations were completed quickly in store, all the while gabbing away with the awesome salesperson, whose name I have shamefully forgotten (if I figure it out, I will update the review; she was that great!). I can't stress enough how helpful the guys were when I came in to get my galaxy s8 looked at. I was prepared to send the phone back to the manufacturer but Dave Casey and another man (who unfortunately I forgot his name) brought my phone back to life and got me set up with a new iPhone (JUMP plan). I came into the store so stressed and unhappy and I left feeling the complete opposite. It's moments like these that keeps me loyal to T-Mobile. Please lemme know when Dave gets his own store! I went to the t-mobile to get my Tuesday gift and was helped by a nice gentleman names Tony. He assisted me and my best friend with upgrading our phones and getting the best deal possible. He was very professional and very knowledgeable in his businesss. I highly recommend anyone that goes through t-mobile or sprint to visit that store at mall 205 next to target and see tony he is very nice and madde it a very pleasurable visit. Is this the T-mobile inside the Mall 205 area? I have been trying to figure out their address and I am confused. I'll write a review anyways. So, I have experienced bad experience at some other T-Mobile store before and I was really frustrated about it... I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to go back to another T-Mobile location, but my Aunt needed to transfer her old sim card information onto her new sim card, we decided to give it a try. We walked in and it took them about 10min before someone greeted us when the store wasn't even that busy... From the back of my head, I was like, "okay...? let's get it over with as soon as possible and go." But, I was wrong. The rep. at the T-Mobile called Vanessa was being very helpful and took while to deal with the new sim card problem, plus spending extra time and patient to teach my Aunt (who obviously doesn't know how to use a smartphone) and repeated steps on how to check emails, send messages, etc etc over and over, over and over... Vanessa is awesome!!!! Thank you so much for your time, I know you were in a rush to meet someone up for lunch also.... The attitude of Vanessa changed my mind on T-Mobile customer service. read more

I just cancelled my cell phone service with T-Mobile which has always sucked, but today was the last straw. I went to this office to figure out why I was charged various fees and deposits on my last bill. That took 30 minutes. When I bought a mobile wi-fi device from them it took them over 90 minutes to set that up. Just got a much cheaper plan through ATT across the street in about 7 minutes. I have had too spend way too much money and time with T-Mobile. read more

I was in the store helping my friend get a new phone. Dane was the sales person that helped us. My friend is a very high maintenance person and I am so amazed at how well he was with him. I was so impressed I just switched from Verizon to T Mobile. Dane helped me with a great phone and package. You should check out the Mall 205 location and ask for Dane he is the best! I am surprised by the other people who gave a one star rating because I received really great service both times I went in. I had a friendly greetings both times I went in. I needed help with some technical issues with my phone the first time. The second time, I brought in a new phone and this lovely woman, Tyanne, helped me to transfer all my data from my old phone to my new one. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the first man who helped me because he was just as gracious as Tyanne. I am technologically challenged, but neither one showed any impatience with me. I really appreciated their time and friendliness. I have been into other T-Mobile stores before and didn't get this kind of outstanding service. They are fantastic. read more

I've has such a great experience at this particular store recently. We had Att and been having some problems and I just stopped by to see what T-Mobile had to offer. Johny was such a great help and answered SO MANY questions we had. We ended up coming back a month later to switch over. Great customer service, we were in and out in a timely manner and got a great deal to save us money. read more

Another failure to provide accurate information... i was promised an increase by Nathan of unlimited data at $15 a month. What was delivered fell far short of that. When he called the customer service line, he changed his tune and provided only additional two gigs at that rate. Either he lied to me or he was ignorant of the truth. Both are unacceptable. T-Mobile is usually fairly good to work with. But this exchange simply left me frustrated. read more

This is why I will never be a T-mobile customer ever again. I've visited this store 3 times and each time the service gets worst and worst. And if you're wondering why I come back to this store, it's because I live only a few minutes away from it. Yes, I could've gone to a different store, but that's not the point. Cancelled my service with T-mobile and paid the termination fee on the spot. T-mobile has always had the cheapest cellular plans, but they've always had crappy customer service and poor reception. I'm with AT&T now and I can honestly say I pay more with AT&T, but their reception and customer service is spectacular, and that in my eyes is worth paying for. read more

Went and switched from ATT on Monday hoping for better customer service. God was I wrong. Before I begin this novel, just know that I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate. Worked with Bear, who was awesome. The only issue I had with him at all is that I told him that my old iPhone was 128GB. He assured me and my husband that I would only need 64GB because Apple has optimized their systems to where people don't use as much storage. We trusted he knew more about the product than we did so we trusted him. The next morning my phone was experiencing some problems. Spent most of the day on the phone with Apple to finally figure out that the problems are being caused because I'm trying to restore a 64GB phone from a 128GB backup. Ok no biggie. Just switch out for a bigger one like I had asked for. 611 says it'll be $50 charge even though I asked for the bigger phone to begin with. Strike one but fixable. Send my husband back in with my phone last night to pay and switch to a bigger phone. That's when things went downhill fast. Dane was dealing with my husband and told both of us (i was on the phone with my husband from work) that not only is there a $50 exchange fee but a $50 restock fee as well. My husband explained the situation and asked Dane if anything can be done about this extra $100. He says he will go back and speak with his manager. Comes back a few minutes later and says "if you want to talk to someone about getting the fee waived you'll have to come back in Friday to speak with a different manager. Plus you knew that you got a smaller phone. You shouldn't have bought it if you knew it wouldn't work. And I don't want to touch this transaction if you think you are getting anything returned back to you." My husband and I are shocked at this point and just want to finish so my husband asks why he would even bring up the other manager or possible credit at all if he didn't want to touch the transaction. That's when Dane's coworker Malik stepped in trying to defend Dane and not the customer. Mind you no manager had come into the front of the store at this point and people are starting to raise voices. Over switching my phone and paying more money?! It eventually turns into a screaming match between Dane, Malik, and my husband. Justin the manager finally walks out as my husband is screaming about canceling the service we paid for. He walks out with my broken phone in hand and I'm still on the phone listening. After I finally get my husband calmed down, I decided to call the store myself so I can get everyone's information and deal with this on my own. Spoke with Justin and we came to the agreement that he would stay open til 8:20 since it's now 7:55 and I'm still without a phone i paid for. I leave my job, drive down there and get met with Dane and Justin. During the altercation with my husband Dane was condescending and tried to correct my husband instead of doing his job and listening so we could get a decent solution. I'm infuriated at this point over this entire ordeal. I explain to Justin I only want to work with him and yet Dane handled everything. When I explained that what Dane did the first time was wrong, he ended up arguing the fact that I shouldn't have bought the smaller phone to begin with. After verbally putting him in his place in front of his manager, he begins to treat my new phone and the rest of the transaction like it's beneath him. Didn't offer to apologize once just kept telling me how my husband and I were wrong. Justin must've just not cared either because seeing how I'm obviously upset he still let Dane handle it and walked to the back a few times. I explain to Dane that he needs to put on a screen protector since I bought one out right from them for the phone I returned. Five minutes later nothing had been said and he looked to be finished. I asked again if my screen protector was applied and he said yes. He then put my phone in the box and I'm not joking, THROWS it into the bag. It took everything in me to just walk out since Justin the manager wasn't in there to see that nor would he have done anything to correct his employees. As I'm leaving Justin walks out so I go back and unleash my verbal fury over this entire ordeal. And all because some punk kid didn't think it was right that we wanted to fix the issue that we didn't cause. I have my phone now and it didn't cost me $100. Only $40. But this leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. And I expect to hear from the store owner as I'm already going to corporate. read more
