I came over from AT&T with 4 lines and worked with a phone rep to get everything set up and new phones ordered. Two days later my package arrives and it has none of what I ordered--it's clearly someone else's order with my name on it. Trying to remedy this by phone support went nowhere, so I took it to the T-Mobile store on K street and had the extreme good fortune to get paired with Justin. He helped straighten things out with corporate to get the wrong equipment returned and to reprocess my original order. This might sound like a simple enough transaction, but that process required conversations with multiple people at corporate as well as work on his end at the store, and it took over an hour to finally fix. At this point Justin would have been completely justified in telling me to go home and wait for my order to arrive. Instead, he insisted on getting BACK on the phone with corporate to make sure the order was correct, and to confirm that all the appropriate incentives and deals for the phones and the plan were applied (spoiler alert--some weren't). Throughout the process he was patient, diligent, and he strongly advocated for me by repeatedly telling them how inconvenient and unfair it was for me to have to spend all this time and energy to fix their mistake (and secured me some fee discounts in the process). Bottom line: no matter where you live or work, it is 100% worth the drive to get to this store and have Justin on the case. He is a cut above the rest! read more

T-Mobile plan $100 4 lines is misleading. On top of $100, they charge $21.92 as taxes and fees, including $16.36 as "T-Mobile taxes & fees", and $5.56 as "Gov. taxes $ fees". Why is the T-Mobile taxes & fees not included in the price? And $20 extra if no auto-pay set up! The total is $141.92! All amounts are monthly. I went into the T-Mobile store on k street downtown and I was helped by Kyle and he took his time he was honest he was very observant of my needs. he set up all my phones and even gps he told me to come back if I need anything else and he would help me. the other employees that where there where also helpful and nice they helped a lot of customer with no attitude they took their time and made sure everyone needs where met! they broke down the payment installments and everything even though I kept asking over 3 times they gave me a really great deal since I been with T-Mobile for 4 years. Beware - Don't use Auto-Pay About 3 months ago I cancelled my T-Mobile cell phone service and internet because of constant buffering problems. Afterwards, I kept receiving bills for a phone number I didn't recognize. When I finally called, I learned the phone number was for my I-Pad which I never knew was different and assumed got cancelled too when I said I wanted to cancel all of my services. I wasn't paying attention, then discovered they had been taking money from my checking account those three months because it was on auto-pay. They gave me a discounted rate for auto-pay when I signed up with them. I couldn't believe it when they said it was my fault for not cancelling the I-Pad. WTF ? In addition, they made it so difficult to cancel. I had to call T-Mobile twice and also go to the store to get a pin number associated with the I-Pad in order to cancel. Took half a day. During the second call, they kept me on the phone for an hour trying to convince me to keep my I-Pad service with them, then said they didn't have the authority to cancel. They then transferred me to a supervisor who also kept trying to change my mind. I accept responsibility for not paying attention to the charges, but I will no longer use auto-pay no matter the discount nor recommend T-Mobile. read more

Thank goodness for T-Mobile downtown in DOCO. My phone froze and I could not power off or anything. No one could help, and I could not access my Kings ticket. Regardless of the busy activity in the store, and that I am not a T-Mobile customer, Poulad and Maurice took the time to assist and fix my problem. Derrick was also trying to assist before Poulad worked his miracle, but had to assist another customer. If my son no longer pays for my phone service. It's a scam! We've been excellent t-mobile customers for a few years now. Today, my husband and I went into their store in North Highlands, Ca to find out more about their "free" iphone 16 upgrade that they're advertising, emailing, and texting us about. When we walked in and I asked about the catch, they asked for all our information first. After verifying that we are, and have been great customers, they went on to tell us that we'd be getting a $300 credit for each iphone that we trade in, and that we can finance the remaining $700 x2 over 72 months. When I asked about the "free" upgrade, Antonio informed us to read the fine print. He informed us that due to our lesser plan ($170 per month), we won't be eligible for any additional price breaks. Plus we found out that we've been charged for services for 2 apple watches that we traded in years ago and that they were supposed to remove from our bill. But they didn't. Needless to say, we'll most likely be switching carriers in the near future, and I intend to seek legal advice for the false charges for the other two watches. read more

can I give negative stars for TMo? when I first signed up with TMo in 2020, service was wonderful, and the plan which I chose was a great one for my needs. But since mid to late 2023, their quality of service has declined greatly, and their customer service has also moved to the basement. They also have offers for promo merch, which are never available locally. today, I found out why ... my local store doesn't even participate, even though the TMo website lists them as a participating store. so the offers are simply fraudulent come ons to get you in to their store, for upselling. read more

So I have now gotten 2 " disconnect service " notices , which is on me. I take responsibility for that. But what was shocking to me is that I was charged $40,00 for overdue bill . That's a lot !!! My go-to T-mobile store currently. Nestled in the heart of the Doco Downtown commons, it is inconveniently located parking-wise, but this place is surprisingly one of the locations with the lowest wait times, except when there are events at Golden1. I believe that it is for this reason the employees are more patient and understanding with technological difficulties, and explaining the different plans and offers that always seem to be in a constant state of flux lately. Today, I did not have to wait to be helped and other stores at Arden and the one off Howe I have been to easily have an hour plus wait time. Across from Sauced BBQ and adjacent to Flatstick Pub, this place has plenty around to do after visiting this store, or while waiting for a data transfer. read more

I returned a gateway device to T-Mobile because our WiFi was not working well over months. A tower needed repair (they didn't get to it) but I was told by a T-Mobile rep that maybe the gateway device got old quickly and that I could get a free replacement. At the time our device had no damage. So we get the replacement and it doesn't work well either (not realizing the problem is always the tower and it's being ignored) and then send off the previous one. They say it arrived damaged and charged me $80. I call up and argue that it was not damaged in any way when I sent it in their packing box (following the instructions) at UPS, but they charge me anyway, essentially accusing me of lying. Bad, inconsiderate and maybe corrupt. I was a T-Mobile fan but not any more. read more

I have been trying to get a problem resolved for over a month with tmobile. They have charged me for phones I never received, and now I can not get them to return my money. Every time I call their so-called customer service number, I get another scripted rep who says no, worries we will take care of this. After explaining my problem, I get the same response a supervisor will look into and respond within 72 hours. They never call back. Then I have to take my time and call again where I go through the same scripted routine with them and behold the same response. No call again. They owe me money and are refusing to credit me back. They have added 2 additional lines to my service, which I'm also being charged taxes on. They have yet to remove these lines. I have been calling them for over a month. It's sad there is no customer service left at tmobile and good luck getting g a actual supervisor. Beware of them!!! Go with a different company. I filed a complaint t with BBB. This is my new T-Mobile home base. These guys know how to take care of their customers! I was helped by a young man named Shedric (hope I got that right), and I needed to activate some sim cards for my parents' new phones. He was so patient, and really made us comfortable, despite my parents low technology knowledge. My dad took a phone call in the middle of porting his number, and Chedric didn't bat an eye. He really knew his stuff. One of the sim cards I brought in seemed to be activated by someone else, which he identified immediately, and then he graciously comp'd me a new card since my account was in good standing and ported my number over. 2 new phones and a converted sim card later! I've been a T-Mobile customer for 20 years across 4 states and this is my least favorite location for 2 reasons: 1. Rude staff. They make me just want to make my T-mobile purchases over the phone through customer service where I have never encountered anyone rude. 2. They never order enough product for their T-mobile Tuesdays promotions. I understand the need for limited quantities but its a slap in the face to customers who take time out of their day to walk to the T-mobile store to get promotional items (that are essentially mobile billboards for T-mobile) only to be told that they only had 2 or 3 to hand out. This essentially turns any goodwill and free advertising for T-mobile into a really bad look. This is a downtown location that should be fully stocked for these types of promotions. read more

This company has just gone from bad to worse. I tried to upgrade my phone, an experience no person should have to go through. First off you could not understand the salesperson, second they spent 45 minutes trying to sell me watches at a great price want me to order 9, one for each phone our business has. then tell me it will cost $250 a month. Oh sales tax is on the full price, not sure how they get away with that anyway $370 for tax. I repeatedly tell him NO all I want is a new phone.
