Oh, how I dread buying a new phone. Sure, its fun to have a shiny new toy to play with.. but eeegads.. the process. Just stepping into a cellphone store of any kind makes me break out in a sweat and get dizzy. But alas, my little trooper of a phone (yes, its a vintage model.. told you I hate buying a phone) finally headed to mobile phone heaven today. No one feels right without a cell, and I am no exception. But even so, I still was avoiding the chore. Once inside, I saw several people, and almost ducked out, but I figured I might as well look at the phones while I was there. Suprisingly, the 3 or 4 guys working took care of everyone in the room rather quickly and the lovely Cory got to me in a mere 5 minutes. He was awesome from the beginning. Even when we pulled up my account, and I wasn't eligible for a FULL upgrade, he told me what "secret" code words to say to Customer Care for them to note my account for a full upgrade. I stepped outside to make the call, and when I got back inside, he was helping another customer, but the store manager stepped in and talked to the Customer service rep and handled everything for me. Delight! We were suprisingly in and out in a fairly short amount of time with a new cell and a suprisingly less expensive monthly plan. And since I was getting an "early upgrade" I wasn't supposed to get the mail in rebate that was offered with my model of phone. But the guys printed out the form anyway and told me to "come see them" if I was not reimbursed. Oh boy! :) One downfall, which was completely not their fault, was my phone literally STOPPED working a few short days after purchasing it. So I ran it back to the store, and the manager took care of me quickly, and I was out the door with a brand new model with no hassle, no irritation, and FAST. I couldn't ask for more in a cell phone store, customer service wise. And thats what its really about when it comes to cell carriers. Well done, T-Mobile. You guys rule at life. read more

I have been a customer with t mobile fo 15 + years. I bought 2 galaxy s 5s back in 2014, I just received a letter saying that my protection plan was getting raised from 10 a phone to 12 a phone. I never signed up for a protection plan. So I have been paying 20 bucks a month extra not even knowing it was a total of 360.00 dollars. I checked my contract I signed and there was nothing About a protection plan when I purchased the phones. My wife pays most of the bills in our household so I was unaware of being charged for something I didn't agree to. I called t-mobile and all they said all they could do is credit 60 dollars to my account. REALLY! !!! A BILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS, A CUSTOMER FOR 15 + YEARS AND THAT'S ALL THEY CAN DO. WELL THAT'S FRAUDULENT THAT WHAT THIS T-MOBILE SALES MAN DID. I'M LOOKING INTO LEGAL ACTION FOR THIS. MAY I'LL CALL MATT GEPHART CHANNEL 2 NEWS IN THE MEANTIME I'M LETTING PEOPLE KNOW HOW THESE SALES PEOPLE WORK. I love this Tmobile store Brandon is so helpful and he knows all about phones he has helped me with upgrading phones which takes for ever but he does it fast and does a great job he doesn't make me feel like he has to hurry when other people walk in he is always quick to tell them he will be with them in a minute he is great at multitasking. All the other staff who work here are great as well they always give you 5 star support and can answer all your questions and they are always in great moods and you can tell the staff in this store loves their job. I just want to retract everything I previously posted because when I went to pick up the replacement phone I was in the store for over 3 hours trying to get my information transferred. I was never told that I had to back up everything before I picked up the new phone. I understood that I could just use the Samsung switch app and then bring back the defected phone. When I went to pick it up I was told it would take an hour so I went and ran errands only to come back and the transfer was terminated. When I asked why that happened the guy said oh I don't know but we'll get it started again. At this point he told me I could just take the new phone but with none of my information transferred. Why would I do that? I left again for another hour and came back only to have the same situation again! I was super late to dinner and basically had to stay and supervise that the transfer was completed. Seriously the worst experience! I do have to note that the representative that assisted me in my previous review was not there. read more

Last fall I went to this store to look at cell phones in person as my contract was up. I had found some really good deals online and wanted to see if in store was as good. I went to the store, they pulled up my account to verify I was eligible for a new phone. I looked at a few but the deal online was better. When I got home to buy the phone online all of a sudden it said I had already signed a new contract and that I was no longer eligible. Turns out the guy at the store was pretty confident he was going to sell me the phone in store and had gone in and changed my account before I said "yes" to the phone. I called and he said " I am trying to fix it, I did not think you would go home and check your account right after leaving," and his tone was accusing like I was in the wrong for catching him. He changed so much on my account without my permission I had to call the main office. I also filed with the BBB. read more

I went in to follow up on the cancellation for a switching over from another provider and the guys Dan and Steven were not helpful. Worst customer service I have ever had been with Tmobile for some years wit that experience it makes me consider looking for a new carrier. I went into the store looking to upgrade my plan and this man named Dan helped me. He was really helpful and kept a friendly conversation. The phone I got was an iPhone 5s and as I went home I found out I overpaid for the phone. It was $50 cheaper online and I came back to the store the next day. I went to talk to Dan and the first thing he told me was that the iPhone dropped the price a little and he helped me get credit back. He also noticed how my daughter's phone had dropped too and gave me credit. I highly recommend this Dan guy, he's very helpful! read more

Customer service should be #1 in any business, BUT NOT IN THIS STORE. I have been with Tmobile for over 7 years and 5 years ago I added my wife and kid to my plan( my wife was on a different network). My contract was up im NOV and I was going to Sprint for the EVO and the $69 everything plan but because the family plan with Tmobile was cheaper we just decieded to stay with Tmobile. To make it short, I went to this 5443 S REDWOOD STORE and purchased 2 Phones. I got the Samsung vibrant. A couple of days after having the phone I started to see things about the phone that had me worried ( I would charged it and unplug it and it would say it was still pluged in and the same with the USB, it would say it was connected when it wasnt. After 17 days, the Phone DIED so needless to say I took it back to where I had just purchased it and thought they would do a in store replacement, I was told that I was outside the 14 day REMORSE PERIOD and I explain that this is not a REMORSE issue but infact was a DEFECT problem and I need my Phone for work as well as personal. Mind you I have been with them 7 years and 5 of them family plan. A LOYAL CUSTOMER and they refuse to exchange it . So I went to the Tmobile store on 33rd south and state street and told my story to the manager, The Next day he did a in store exchange with a smile. IF YOU NEED A PHONE AND AFTER THE SALE SERVICE IS IMPORTANT TO YOU....DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. FOR GREAT SERVICE BEFORE AND AFTER THE SALE...GO TO THE 33RD AND STATE STREET STORE. I had problems with my older phone last Friday, went to the store and was treated well, thought we fixed the issues, but problems again on Sunday. I again went to store and I believe it was Brandon was very good and ordered me a warranty phone which was supposed to be delivered to their store on Tuesday. I called Tuesday and was just told that they hadn't received the phones that had been delivered yet so just wait till I got notification!!!! Wednesday I called at opening and was told they couldn't locate any phone, it wasn't until I told them that they needed to do a trace on my phone replacement, which Joe finally did and then told me I needed to wait another hour for their computer to complete the receiving, (really). I went in and was not greeted in any way and while Joe was completing the paperwork 3 other people showed up at the store of which none were greeted or told they would be with them as soon as possible. I asked if my current case could be used with the warranty new one and he said of course not, it is a different phone!!!!! The customer service at this location is terrible. They could all use some lessons on how to treat their customers, you know the one's who pay their salaries!!!!!!!!!! I read more
