I work in the area so the nearest T-Mobile stores to me are this one and the one in Old Town Pasadena. I much prefer this location. Parking is always a breeze in the private lot shared with Starbucks and KFC. If it's full, there is plenty of street parking on Fremont or Huntington. The staff always greets me the minute I step through the door. If they are busy, they tell me to have a seat and that they'll be right with me, though I've never waited more than 5 minutes. I'm always in a rush so this is greatly appreciated. I wish I could remember the names of the employees who helped me each time but since I never had a bad experience here, I think it is safe to say that the entire staff if courteous and knowledgeable. read more

Horrible service. The female employees do not know what they are doing, they are winging it and are also giving you the worst possible service plan. They also waste time since they are constantly going back and forth to their manager asking them simple questions that I, A regular citizen, can answer, common sense.This location does not carry all the phones on display. It's been various times where I would ask for a phone and they would say it is out of stock. I would not recommend you come here if you plan on spending around an hour here because they will keep you here for over 2 hours if you plan to change phones or carrier or pay your bill. I attempted to buy a new phone for my daughter. I was SHOCKED that most of their iPhones were not on display. The sales guy said they had been robbed more than two weeks ago. I'm sympathetic to being robbed, however that is what insurance is for. If I'm spending $$$$ on a phone, i expect to see what I'm about to purchase. It's not a good look for a business. I spent my day off going round and round between this branch and the Highland Park one trying to activate the SIM card for an unlocked Lumia phone. (Turns out that the eBay seller hadn't fully unlocked it, so none of the TMobile reps could help with that). But noticing the $50 unlimited data rate plan special, I convinced my boyfriend and his brother to consolidate our phone plans. Doing so, I unwittingly nullified my corporate discount and the sweet Cellspot wifi router deal. After calling 611 and going to the Highland Park store (singularly unhelpful and unprofessional) to sort all of this out, we ended up at the South Pas store again. FWIW, the South Pas store IS a corporate store, closer to me than the Los Feliz one that the HP rep tried to steer me to. I marched into the South Pas store hopping mad and babbling about the mix ups. Michael was remarkably patient, calling up 611 and walking me through the available options. When I complained about spending my entire day dealing with the phone and now the router, Michael spent an additional 5 minutes checking out the APN settings, going so far as to giving me an extra SIM card. During all of this, another customer walked past and greeted him like a long lost friend. Clearly, I am not his only fan. read more

Pasadena-okay, but one night I went there and I witnessed bad customer service towards a FOB which I didn't like. Last year I came to T-mobile and they had great discounts. They had a toy drive which gave you more discounts. I brought my toy late, but they still honored the discount. They also accepted a return on a muse mini speaker I bought and used for a couple weeks. The manager hooked me up with a great deal and I bought a car charger and TYLT. Well, the TYLT power bank is kinda expensive. A couple of months ago, I lost it at a seminar. My phone battery is slowly dying so I do not need to buy another charger. The cord on my charger was all shredded up and non-functional since last year, that's why I bought the TYLT so I could use it for the new phone I'll eventually buy when I have more money. Last year, I asked them if I could just buy the cord and they said "no." My adapter was fine. This cheap shit they make just doesn't last. Even my ipad cord-less than 6 months, same thing! So, I called Joey a few days ago and explained the situation. I asked if he had an extra, old cable they could just give me because I don't have money to buy another one or a new phone. He looked around and said 'yes"and I came right over. It took 3 circles in and out of the tiny parking lot before I found a space. He was busy, but the guy who checked me in, asked Joey and he gave me a brand new cable cord (black) without charge. Thank-you so much for your great customer service. I have to say that everytime I think about switching to another carrier, I think... T-mobile has really excellent customer service ever since the beginning. This place is the best! After being customers of another carrier for over 19 years my husband and I finally decided to make the change to T Mobile. Ray was extremely helpful in making this transition easy and painless. He made sure all of our questions were answered and was very thorough with all the information we needed to understand what was changing and what was staying the same. He made this experience very pleasant. I have to say that the staff at this store is very friendly and out to do what's best for the customer. Update: I have already been informed by T-Mobile's legal department that if I call or walk into a store they will terminate the primary account holder's service and call the police to arrest me. I feel the reply to this review is a baiting tactic to get me to respond so they have a legal reason to end the primary account holder's service, as the account holder has never been involved in this specific issue on the account. I will not be responding in a effort to maintain the legal requirements, however, I have made contact with the appropriate government agencies and legal representation for assistance. Reposting this review since the store manager keeps trying to get it removed: The lady manager that I spoke with today is incompetent and extremely unprofessional! I went into to this store due to an ongoing issue I've had on my account and instead of trying to actually help me, she tried to block my authorized user permissions after the primary account holder and 611 hadalready reinstated my access to the account months ago. I have been a customer for over a decade and you would think that T-mobile values loyalty instead of allowing employees to treat their customers with disrespect! Purchased 2 apple watches yesterday from another location and later my internet and texts weren't working. No big deal I figured someone might have just "clicked" something on our account. Went to this location since it was closer to my house. There were a few signs early stating they opened at 11. We patiently waited. 11:30 and still no one showed up. Slowly employees started arriving each time locking the door behind them so we had to wait outside where there is no seating. Doing my taxes and looking at my credit card purchases. Bought a Wi-Fi receiver in Oct. 2016 returned it after a day as the phone hot spot worked just as good. It cost $29, but they charged a re-stocking fee of $25. First I would have never returned it to have to pay $25. Second they said they would get it waved but now looking at my past credit card bill this was never done. I have paid for four lines of T-Mobile service since 2011, yet they are going to stick me on a $25 re-stocking fee. I went into to the store at that time (2011) and the manager seemed pretty on top of things and set me up. Since then I have noticed the staff is pretty uneducated. read more

I love this store. Both Nancy and Jocelyn are great! They are very knowledgeable on phones and their plans! Went in when they were pretty busy, other customers were getting fussy because the wait was long. People should relax and remember the associates are people too. They can only go so fast when they are trying to help people and give good customer service. On Sundays the store closes at 6pm, it was 645pm and there was still people inside waiting. The representatives still continued to help everyone but are not allowed to let people in after 6pm. There were a couple people banging on the door screaming to open the door cause they thought they close at 8pm. Other than the long wait this store is my favorite to go. read more

I've been here many times and many times that i've gone in it always made me feel so down. They greet people but the vibe that they give is negative. Now Erik is very helpful, he gave us details and whats good and very detailed. But when we came back, Raymond, he was helpful, but VERY PUSHY and judgmental. Checked my wife's credit and says " oh you cant get this phone , you have to put half down", so i explained that we already talked to Erik and that it was ok and that Erik checked her credit already. And also if the next day if we wanted the phone , they don't need to check her credit again! But Raymond checked her credit again. So my wife has 2 hard inquiries! So we FINALLY got the phone , but when he offered something else on the side, he was pushy, but when we refused , he made a remark and the look of "don't be stupid" kinda look that made us feel uncomfortable. I've never gone through so much hassle with purchasing a cell phone. The information I was given from one employee did not match with what the other employee told me. They didn't compensate or even apologize for the trouble I had to go through because of their careless mistake. Yesterday I visited this Tmobile location to purchase the new s20. I didn't have to browse long before a rep by the name of Michael approached me to offer help. He answered a list of questions about which model in the line would best suit my needs. This guy is seriously a tech genius. I purchased the phone right as closing time approached. The only issue was I had to transfer the data from my old phone to the new one since I was trading the old one in. Michael told me not to worry about the process or the time. He and a coworker locked the store door for security and so others wouldn't assume the store was still open. When he returned he kindly began the transfer process on the devices never seeming anything beside happy and helpful. The app's estimated process time was 35 mins. That estimation was way off. That didn't bother Michael a bit. He stood there over 2.5 hours after closing, chatting with me, and answering another muriad of questions about other products in the store. His upbeat and friendly demeanor, along with his knowledge, throughout my experience there is why I give this store 5 stars. First of all they are a corporate location, no franchise that doesn't want to help you and not very knowledgeable in what they are doing. But this tmobile , the employees there work together to help each other figure things out which I appreciate . This will be the tmobile store that will be getting all my business and would recommend future family and friends to go to. Since then I have been back here 2 or 3 times. One day I will get good customer service another day not great customer service. I was here a few days ago and Angie helped me add a line to my account, she was really nice and informative. I was put on a really good plan for two lines unlimited everything $100 plus tax and phone payment. Angie was able to keep my brothers phone number and made the transaction easy and pain free. Glad I did since my 6 year old dropped it a few weeks later. I recommend this location and T-Mobile to anyone. I used to pay $145 for Verizon for one line now I have two iPhone 6, unlimited everything, a tablet and insurance and my bill is under $150. read more

We've been with T-Mobile for several years and enjoy the convenience they offer with bill pay, locations and the selection of phones available. This store is our favorite because it's in a nice area of South Pasadena and has a great selection of phones to chose from. I bought my wife the i-Phone 6+ through their 0% lease program and feel this is the wave of the future. Apple hardly ever discounts new products, so I guess it's neutral cost between the lease and Apple purchase outright. Something extra, my wife had a Samsung for 4 years and it finally died a cruel death of battery, which can not be changed on these phones. The kind T-Mobile salesman, who just turned 21, was able to transfer her data from the Android to Apple platform for my wife, so she did not loose too much data. They say have the young deal with your electronics because they know more than us usually, at least when it comes to electronics... read more
