I got an email today from T-Mobile.... then again, I didn't.... I did, I didn't.... I have a commercial account and I got an email today saying they changed my billing method from paper to paperless. We all get scam emails, so I used an existing number I had for them and called.... And over an hour later..... I am still not complete sure I know what has happened. I waited on hold for 35 mins. I was a 13 Verizon customer, and I switched to T-mobile because a family member went to work for them. The family member recommended the cheaper and more courteous T-mobile. I have been with them nearly 10 years. Today, I find myself re-thinking my decisions. After my long hold, I get an 'expert' and explain the situation. I asked why they did that, because I didn't request this change.... his fumbling answer was 'Everything..... um....'. I asked him to explain better because 'Everything....' is not an answer. He really was grasping for an answer... to EVERYTHING... SO I asked for a supervisor, and after 5 mins on hold - no supervisor... I want to speak to a supervisor because your answer is a non-answer. After a while a supervisor TONY in the Philippines came on. He seemed to think I had a problem with my current bill..... So I explained. Got an email saying I was switched to paperless billing. I called a known number.... on the phone trying to figure out why.... He spoke in circles. Tony said that Tmobile didnt send me any emails. The have my record up.... still getting paper bills ...... So I asked 'Why the email?'. He still had a few denials about that.... But then said that we have email blasts sent out and your number was on that blast. So then when they denied the email.... Tony admitted that this was an error.... even went as far as admitting this was a 'lie' on that famously recorded line and that my account was not changed. This cost me an hour of my time mostly on hold listening to crappy music. Tony would have been a good FIRST contact. But as a second.... he was focused more on financially compensating me than addressing the PROBLEM AT T-MOBILE. There lies the root cause. They are more worried about profit than doing their job correctly, consistently and reliably. Don't get me wrong, a profit is what gets us all up in the morning. But HOW they do this with low staff, off shore call centers, poor training, and the propensity to make up a reason for "... EVERYTHING .... " is really poor performance. THIS was my last call to their customer support. The next time - I am switching carriers. I want to be able to help my customers better than T-Mobile helps theirs. PS. I told Tony I wanted a handwritten apology for the confusing and conflicting responses. He said he understood and could do that. But then started talking financial compensation again.... I don't mind paying for what I do... it is not a question of the bill. I want my hour back, or an apology. Finally I had to just say thanks Tony, but this is just wasting more of my time. read more

I was in desperate need of a new phone, and was hesitant as my bill (with a prior carrier) was already crazy expensive and didn't want it to get any higher. We were referred to this store and had such a great experience there! Both my husband and I got new phones, ended up getting a $600 rebate, and our monthly bill was reduced by over $150! Both the representative that helped us there (Sal) and his manager were very helpful and while the process took a little bit, they handled everything for us on the spot in the store and we are glad we made the switch! read more

Very friendly staff! They make up for the crappy call center service. The employees in the store have been amazing. They've helped us save money from our previous plan switching us to a new plan. We were able to add a line and get more for less of a monthly payment than what we had been paying. This is definitely the store to stop in and have them help you! read more

Came in to get a new upgraded phone and was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The gentleman helping me was honest, didn't push product on me that I didn't need, and was very pleasant to work with. His rep number is ***852, but I didn't get his name, just hope his management sees this and give him the ataboy he deserves. I absolutely loath phone shopping, and this was a great experience. On another positive note, they were very responsive to our Coronavirus situation. An elderly man came in without a mask and the staff responded quickly and respectfully, asking him to either wear a mask or step outside to be helped. He later came in with a mask and it was all very respectful and professional. At a time like this, it's nice to know that business are taking everyone's safety seriously. read more

The manager at this store is absolute garbage. I was switching from Verizon to TMobile and since he didn't get the sell he told me to go to another location. Even the T-Mobile rep on the phone told he she thought he was a moron. I'm actually bummed this was my very first experience with a t mobile rep in person. That dude should not have a job anywhere. 1 star for this store only don't let this store ruin your t mobile experience. Go to the one by the Vancouver mall. Edit response: T Mobile store.. save it. The manager Tyler confirmed that we would be given 400 for a phone. The manager then boxed the perfect phone with no cracks on it whatsoever and sent it off. Team mobile now claims it was damaged and refused to give the money. We've tried talking to multiple employees who have offered no help or resolution. From talking with other customers, it seems this is a frequent pattern of fraudulent behavior. I would not recommend T-Mobile. They will lie to you, unilaterally change the terms of the contract, and overcharge you. read more

Bait & Switch, Came in was previously told by sales people in this store and it is in a current ad if I had a phone with a different carrier for 3 months they would give me up to $800 for transferring to T-mobile. This was a complete lie. I have a 3 month old galaxy S22 ultra in pristine condition. Currently they are selling this phone in there store for $1,200. They would not give me any credit for this phone. To add insult to injury I am in the beginning of the process of changing carriers and the sales person who claimed to be the store manager takes a call and speaks to the person on the phone for 15 plus minutes. Talk about rude! Google T mobile phone transfer scam or T mobile bait and switch. You'll find a lot of unhappy customers. Stay away!!!! read more

This evening I came into T-Mobile. Yardia was not listening I told her my name and number about 6 times before she got it. Then she found my phone exchange. She attempted to connect to black rock coffee for a data transfer on my phone which is not professional at all transferring personal data though an unsecure network. You are a cell phone company why would you connect to a coffee shop for Wi-Fi Joe the store manager informed me that his regional manager David told them to do this???? REALLY! When I wasted 10 mins while the associate tried to connect to a weak signal I asked what's the problem was she laughed and mumbled about wifi at coffee shop! Joe talked down to several customers and us he is a totally rude person. read more

I have been to this T-Mobile location several times. They have always been really helpful. But this last time the store manager Shawnae, did everything she could to make sure that I was taken care of and that my problem would be solved. She was extremely friendly and stayed in touch with me through out the week while she was solving my problem. I'm extremely grateful for her and her supervisors for helping me. read more

I have been with T-Mobile for 10 years experiencing nothing but exceptional service, be it on the phone or in store.....that is until I visited this location in Hazel Dell. I stopped by after work to purchase a new charger, whereupon entering the storefront I took my place at the register behind an elderly gentleman with a cane. There were two employees assisting customers at the register. One employee I observed was very tactless and inconsiderate to this older gentleman who was increasingly becoming frustrated. The employee's name tag said MOSES, no kidding this guy was putting the hard sell to upgrade the older gentleman's handset and plan. After a few minutes the older gentleman finished his business, turned to leave and the employee called after him "WE DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS ANYWAY!" I was shocked by the exchange, walked to the counter politely left the charger on the counter, told the less than polite employee I thought his behavior was highly unprofessional and inappropriate. I then left the store and not surprised to see the lady behind me in line also leave. It is important to note that this location is not a retail store, but an "authorized dealer." As far as I can tell the only difference is merchandise is slightly higher in cost and there is no exchange policy in place with T-Mobile retail stores on exchanges or replacements. That being said it looks identical to any other T-Mobile store EXCEPT for the fact that their training requirements for employees highly differ. I have never witnessed such an utter lack of respect for a customer. My advice is travel the extra 10 minutes to a T-Mobile Retail store, get superior service and merchandise cheaper at the Vancouver Mall or one of the Portland locations where staff are trained, knowledgeable and courteous. read more

I've always had great and professional service with this metro location next to the bowling alley. I've been with them since it first opened under a couple of Navy vets, they have a new owners and new management but still I have always been treated very well no matter who was working. I'd give 5 stars, but sometimes it does take a while to get service, but ....I've never seen a mobile phone store that was fast, so there's that. Great Place for student budget. Anne Rock On... Andrew boo. They can finance part of your equipment if need be, handy for a student in a bind I thought. Service is okay here in a big city.
