He recommended I increase my memory, replace the battery and get a solid state hard drive. His pricing came in at under $400.00. He also cleaned the interior and tightened the hinge for the screen. Then they promised me that another fix would work, so I brought it in a second time, only to be told that they had to order the part, which would be there Saturday. I got a call at 5:15 pm telling me it was all finished, too late for me Friday. So, I came in today, Saturday (my 6th trip to the shop) feeling assured that I had finally reached the finish line. Only to find that, in spite of the Friday evening call telling me it was all ready, that they had not fixed it at all! Very inconsiderate lack of communication. The only redeeming part of the experience is that they gave me a full refund. But, here I am at square one again with a broken computer, after 3 weeks and 6 separate trips to the shop.
