The service here was horrible and non-existent…read more My Metro PCS phone broke and this was the closest location to my house in Eastpointe, I needed a phone ASAP, that afternoon. I went with a friend into this location, which is in an older, rundown center. They had only about 9 phones to choose from! This was underwhelming to say the least. Anyway, we got there and walked in. There was one employee working and one other customer. Both of whom were standing and blocking our view of the phones on display, even though there was about 20 feet of room behind both of them and they could have moved. Even after asking to get in front of them to view the 9 phones on display, they both continued to rudely stand there and block our entire view, as if we had said nothing. This includes the employee/owner. Also, I should mention they were not looking at the phones, neither the employee or the customer. They were just talking about different phone plans, other phones this customer had owned in the past, and coverage. Then the customer said "Well I don't have any money to buy a phone today, maybe next week when I get paid..." Then why are you both standing and blocking our view of the phones? Someone who was going to purchase a Metro PCS phone right then and there. Further, the employee never once greeted us or said a word, just looked at us and then pretended we were not there. We waited around for about 10 minutes, the entire time these 2 geniuses are blocking the small display of cellphones. Finally we left and went east down 9 Mile to the Metro PCS location there, near Kelly, where I was actually able to view the phones that they had and spent $180 right then and there to buy a new phone! Sale lost for these clowns, who ignored their potential customers. This location has been there longer than the 2nd store we visited, but I really hope that it puts them out of business. No one should have to deal with such an absence of customer service skills and 2 morons standing for a long time, blocking the view of potential customers, even after we said "Excuse me", totally horrible service.
