Got talked into changing to save $. They checked our two iPhones and said they could switch them "No Problem" and save $20 month. Signed the papers, the guy tuned out our AT&T service and tried to switch over. 3 hours later -- he and others in the store couldn't make it go. Then they informed us they were unable to get us back to AT&T ---- and left us without any working phones. 'At one point they promised us help was coming from another store--- and then later admitted it wasn't. Their advice --" go to the AT&T store and see if they can Help." In the end AT&T was able to fix their mess --but we ended up being charged $30 activation fees for new SIM cards and service. DON'T GO NEAR T-Moblie---- 5 employees and not one could fix it. read more

Being rude, pompous and arrogant must be a prerequisite to getting a job at this location. I don't ever plan on going back. Without going into my situation there today (to keep this short), my assumption is, they sum you up and treat you based on if they feel they'll get a sale or not. I don't know, but today was my last straw at this location. Poor Customer Service I was just at a retail corporate T-Mobile store located at 9955 Hudson Pl, Suite 570, Woodbury, MN. I came to pay my bill using the ETF Reimbursement prepaid card. While I was there, I asked an employee name Richard about my bill. He became defensive and didn't know how to answer my question regarding taxes and fees on my bill and threaten to call the police on me. He refuse to process my payment and told me to leave. I asked for a supervisor but he said no one is there so he don't have to help me. I really like T-Mobile that's why I switched over from ATT. Now because of this, I don't know if I should stay with TMO go somewhere else. Please retrain this guy to handle customer questions better and not become defensive when he doesn't know how to answer a question. read more

May 1st, 2019: I leased an iPhone 8 and did a contract with t-mobile all through the t-mobile website. May 14th, 2019: Since I knew that t-mobile gives customers a 14 day grace period to return the products and canceled the contract, I did exactly just that. I went to t-mobile store located inside Rosedale Mall #115, MN and had talked to Lawrence Thompson about returning the phone and terminating the contract. He was very helpful. He called customer service and talked to Jo Rimer. She was put on speaker, so I heard everything. She verified the both of us. Everything seemed to be going well. All I had to do was to return the products and I did this on the same day. Got my refund on 05/22/2019 of $74.22 June 2019: I received a bill from t-mobile saying that i owed them $150 (I can't remember the exact date). I contacted the number that was given to me on the letter 1-888-310-8471 on 06/23/2019. I spoke to a t-mobile rep, he looked at my acct and told me that I can disregard that letter bc my acct was closed already and I shouldn't have been sent that letter. He reassured me that i can disregard the letter, so I did that bc i thought everything was fine. June 23rd-July 1st,2019: i kept getting calls from this number 612-564-1310. July 1st: I finally gave them a call on 07/01/2019 and spoke to a debt collector rep. She told me that I owed money to t-mobile. I told her no I do not and then she transferred me to t-mobile. I then spoke to a t-mobile rep, gave her the t-mobile acct number that the debt collector provided me to the t-mobile rep. She couldn't help me even after i told her my story of what happened bc I couldn't provide her my PIN that I supposedly set up with t-mobile, she also didn't know why I was being charged $150. I had asked this rep about collections and she said that "it has not been sent to a collection agency yet but it will soon." She advised me to stop into a t-mobile store bc they can help me resolved this situation. I stopped by this t-mobile store and spoke to Sam X, he was trying to be very helpful but he didn't know why I was being charged. He went on to call customer service, they took a lifetime looking for my acct and figuring out when it was closed and what happened. I found out that my acct was NEVER CLOSED and that's why I was charged $150. They told me I had two options and one of them was to pay it off. I was not about to do that nor did I do it. No free money for you t-mobile. I then asked if this was sent to collections yet (I was pissed tf off at this point). Sam told me the same thing "no but it will soon." Anyways he advised me to go back to the store that I closed my acct at and talk to the person who helped me. NOT TO MENTION THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO RECORDS OF ME CLOSING THE ACCT OR EVER CALLING. APPARENTLY NO ONE TOOK NOTES. When I got home that day, I received a bill from a collection agency..... July 2nd, 2019: I went to t-mobile at Rosedale Mall, spoke to Lawrence, and for some odd reason, he pulled up my acct so easily. Showed me that we DID close my acct and he even told me that t-mobile had already SENT it to collections. "are you f*cking kidding me" was what i was thinking. So everything was there but idk why the other employee and customer service had such a fucking hard time figuring that shit out. now things are ALMOST resolved bc i gotta wait until 07/07/2019 to get my name and everything cleared. this has been so ridiculous and inconvenient especially to me but other folks as well JUST because someone in t-mobile decided to not do their damn fucking job. read more

I have been to this location on two occasions. The first time to just gather information. Talked with John who I found to be straight forward and very helpful. He spent quality time answering all my questions and never felt pressured or that I was getting a sales tactic. I came back two days later and signed up for 5 new lines of service. John was there again and handed me off to Rich. Both of them helped us through the process of switching from Verizon to T-Mobile. They helped trouble shoot some problems with Verizon. I wasn't unhappy with Verizon, just can get the same service for a lot less with T-Mobile and nearly cut my bill in half with the military discount. Would strongly recommend working with this location and specifically had excellent experience with John and Rich. read more

This place Sucks! I went into this store yesterday to trade my iPhone 8 Plus for the newer I phone 12. They told me yesterday that my screen was cracked (tiny sliver at bottom barely visible to the eye) Went and had screen replaced today. Brought phone to them to trade. Salesman took my phone to back room, came back out and said he could not find watermark on phone? What a joke! There is absolutely no type of water damage on this phone! Don't go to this store! They 100 percent lie! It s too bad too, because I just ordered their new internet service! Well I am CANCELING everything with T-MOBILE effective immediately. Verizon beats them hands down. Calling the police on any unhappy customer seems to be their policy. Incompetent sales people working at this store would be an understatement. They are only comfortable to take care of a customer when there is a new sale to be had not when there is a problem. After that you are on your own. Avoid the store if you want any kind of a service after your 14 day refund policy is up. read more

I went in here after reading the other review about "Richard"I thought if it was that bad I can always walk back out. I was very surprised when I opened the door and saw 6-8 employees and as many customers. This place was hopping! A pleasant young lady named Bre greeted me and we got right down to business. I needed two new phones and a wi fi hot spot. I began by telling her I had been to another T-Mobile store the day before but was not impressed with the sales persons knowledge of their products and plans. Nice enough guy, just seemed real new. As I am not very savvy in this area myself, I want to feel like the person I'm dealing with knows their stuff. Bre handled my concern very professionally and told me she's been doing her job since 2010. That's plenty of experience as far as I'm concerned. She knows all the ins and outs of all the plans and phones. She was able to answer my questions patiently and thoroughly. I truly could not have had a better experience from a customer service view point. I would definitely recommend this store. I think you would be in good hands with any of the staff I saw. But if you have a chance, try to get Bre to work with you. read more

My horrible experience began on 09-19-21 and involved this Woodbury Tmobile store (Hudson Place) and a Tmobile store in Eagan. It's a long complicated story so for the purpose of this review I'm just going to focus on my negative experience at this Woodbury location. I picked up a phone at one of the Eagan Tmobile stores for my son that the store was holding for us and I didn't realize until I got home that they sold us the wrong one. I called the Eagan store back and because they didn't have the correct one they said I should exchange it at a different store. I called ahead and Woodbury had one. I had been told by Eagan that there was a promotion on the phone but when I got to Woodbury the representative working with me (Tyler) said that the promotion was only if I was adding a new line. (I had traded in my own phone and bought a new one I didn't need so I could get the promotion on my son's new phone) This was my 4th visit to a Tmobile store in less than 20 hours and I was frustrated. Tyler told me he couldn't even do the exchange because the store wasn't "connected" to the Eagan store. He said I would have to return the phone in Eagan. (I had just been there) My son needed a phone that day because his previous one had been ruined so we bought his new phone outright without getting refunded for the incorrect phone. Tyler said he was going to try and see if he could get us the promotion even though we weren't adding a new line but he couldn't do anything that day because it was Sunday. He said he would look into it the next day (Monday) and call me. He took my name and number down and he gave me his card. He said more than once that he wanted to help us get the promotion and I thanked him multiple times. I finally felt like someone was looking out for me. I didn't hear from him for a couple days so I called him. I got his voice mail so I left a detailed message asking him to get back to me. A couple more days went by and still nothing so I called again. This time someone answered and when I asked to speak to Tyler I was told he was with a customer and he took a message and said Tyler would call me back. (Was this actually Tyler pretending not to be?) He never called me back. Why would you tell a customer you were going to try and go to bat for them and then completely ghost them? To me, this is worse treatment than the original problem. I feel like he lied right to my face that he was going to try and get me the promotion. If he tried and couldn't do it then why wouldn't you respect a long term customer enough to call them and tell them? I've been with Tmobile for as long as I can remember and this is how I'm treated? Is the shoddy treatment because Tmobile merged with someone else? Is it just terrible management at the Woodbury store? At any rate, if you visit this store and Tyler tells you he will get back to you, I wouldn't count on it. Ask for someone else. read more

Went in to replace my broken phone and to start a new plan with my sister. We were both not looking forward to having to change plans, figure out how to transfer data to my new phone, etc. But the rep that helped us, Ross, did an amazing job. He was friendly, personable, and extremely helpful. He took care of everything (which was quite a bit) and we were on our way. Love t-mobile! I don't know what one reviewer was talking about concerning "Richard". Pretty sure I met that guy, and although he wasn't my sales person, he was pretty friendly and normal. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by a super enthusiastic manager named Steve. After one of the sales guys was finally available (good sign that they were so busy!!), I worked with the sales guy through the rest of my time switching from my. crappy Sprint service to T Mobile.
