It had perfect reviews and they seemed like they knew what they were doing. I can, in fact, now confirm that Emily is an absolute goddess and my brows are saved. I got my brows and upper lip waxed for $35, which is pretty standard pricing. The studio is super cute and clean, and it was such a well-cultivated space that I felt relaxed just being there. The process was seamless, and I felt comfortable with Emily doing what she felt was best for my brows. They came out perfectly -- there was clearly cleaning that was done, they're not thin, and the length was maintained. The waxing process took 10-15 minutes and was not painful. I feel the need to talk about Emily, too. First off, she's got the best vibes and is so easy to talk to. She truly knows what she's doing and has your best interest at heart (she will not let you ruin your brows over some ephemeral trend, girlfriend). She thoroughly walks you through the process and explains the whys of things to you (e.g. why you need to avoid retinol and AHAs leading up to a wax sesh).
