So if you're visiting Strasburg or Quarryville (or anywhere in Lancaster County, they are worth a visit). Sadie's daughter Rachel retired and sold the business, including all the recipes, ovens, and equipment to a new owner. The new location is also on an Amish farm. The baked treats are excellent as always. We visited in August 2019 and bought chocolate, pumpkin and oatmeal whoopie pies, a blueberry pie, blueberry donut holes, and creme-filled donuts. Everything was delicious! The hours are 8am-4pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 6am-6pm Friday, and 8am-3:30pm on Saturday. They are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. The phone number is 717-786-1751.

They offer pastries, breads, jams/jellies & more! This quaint little bakery is small but mighty. Service is great and donuts are even better. Every donut was fresh, flavorful and not overly sweet. We also purchased fresh grape jelly. I'm never going to store bought jelly LOL! Free parking. Definitely add this to your list when in town. And make sure to say hi to their horses out-front! I went with a lunch combo and I loved the roast beef sandwich. Though I wish there was more beef. The soup was warm and sweet and savory, perfect for fall weather. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food! I also ordered a hot vanilla latte with soy milk after. The espresso is balanced and not bitter. Approved! It is a beautiful farm filled with trees, plants, succulents... anything you need for your flower/plant needs. But it is a secret gem that hides the most amazing sandwich shop in the area.
