Took it in to the mechanic my family trusts just to be safe and thank god I did because there was ALOT of $$$ problems with it :(( leaking transmission, missing antenna, radio not working, air conditioning not getting cold enough, leaking sealant, just to name a few. My family thinks I've dodged a bullet, and it sounds like the mechanic was very through when they went through with it. It took about 2 hours and ran me about $200~ but saved me what would've been thousands in damages. The man at his desk (Larry) who I believe was the one who did the maintenance check was very nice to us even though we were almost half an hour late to our appointment initially, I was extremely apologetic and he didn't seem to mind at all.(again, very sorry about that) They even spoke to my family and recommended a dealership for us to try (didn't seem like a money grab, wasn't on a business card they wrote it on the back of a blank piece of paper in pen) so hopefully my car hunting goes better....

Scott worked with me to figure out what should be done and how to communicate with insurance, and he took ownership of getting the right fixes done so that I could get back on the road. The guy I spoke with immediately agreed with me and scheduled a time for me to bring my car back in the following week, free of charge, so they could make it right. I thought they would just try to buff some things out better, but they actually fully repainted one of my doors on the passenger side and a whole panel on the driver's side. They even paid for a rent car for me for that whole week. I feel they went above and beyond, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. My car looks great!
