I've tried them once. Just recently I bought the most tastefully bland chicken masala I've ever had. More rice and potatoes than any amount of chicken. Not worth it at half the price. I also bought the lobster balls. Pretty good for frozen, reheated, probably fake lobster. But I like fake deli crab salad too. Certainly I'm not suggesting you go there. The drinks are too expensive, the food is filled with cheap pre frozen ingredients. This place is for the truly unsophisticated diner with more money than good gourmet experience. Never had an issue with this order when I frequent other T4's in the bay and The Valley, so when I heard that Lathrop opened up, figured to treat myself. Now, I understand that some establishments vary depending on owner and availability of the menu, but I'd imagine that the drink production process is a fundamental component to be uniform across the company. Not sure where it got lost in translation when ordering, but when reducing ice, that doesn't mean to reduce the sweetness to 30% as well. Giving 2 stars because the food we ordered was pretty good. I've been so excited for this T4 to open in Lathrop since we lacked a boba spot here in town.. but unfortunately it just wasn't what I expected. I've been to so many boba spots, including multiple other T4 locations and I've never had an issue. I asked the girl working the register if she could mix 2 drinks for me (which I've done before) and she stated, "we can but I don't recommend it and we can't make you a new one if you don't like it." I said "okay, it's fine. I'll just order a Taro milk tea." She proceeding to say "you should try this drink with the foam cream on top it's very good and popular." I told her no thank you, I'll just take the taro milk tea. She continued to encourage me to order what she suggested. Like why are you trying to convince me to get something else when I already told you what I wanted? Finally, she said okay with attitude and sent in my order. When I received my drink, I was beyond disappointed. It tasted like straight whole milk with barely any taro flavor and there was a very small amount of boba in my drink. I understand that all boba places vary and make their drinks differently.. but how can you mess up a simple taro milk tea? I also had to order some drinks to go for my family and I ordered 1 passion fruit + lychee slush. The same girl gave me the same speech on how she doesn't recommend it and they won't make a new one if it's not good... and again, it's something I've ordered before. She was taking my order with attitude again which made it even more uncomfortable. However, we did order takoyaki and popcorn chicken which I would give a 7/10. The young guy there also gave us 2 of each sauces which was nice. I wish I could've said more great things about this location but overall I was just disappointed. The girl at the register was rude and that ruined the experience for me. As expected, the wait to get some refreshing beverages during one of the valley's numerous heat waves was nothing short of an hour long. The residents of this tiny pit stop town flocked to support their very own, very first boba shop, in hopes of catching a glimpse of the newest likely popular teen hangout and high traffic refreshment purveyor. The people up front did an amazing job, putting together my order as quick as I could order, and ensured I had a good first-time visit for their grand opening. They even had the sympathy to go past closing hours to serve a good majority of the people that were still waiting in line. On 4-11-23 I purchased a boba tea drink. I used my gift card and they charged me a 25 cent credit card fee. This is a T4 gift card that was bought from this store! What is the point of having a gift card to use if it is treated like a credit card and not cash? Sometimes I just purchase a drink for myself, so I don't meet the minimum $10 requirement to avoid the credit card fee, which at that point I pay cash. This does not incentivize customers to purchase gift cards for their friends and family if it is treated like a credit card and not cash. Nice store, but highly disappointed in the service. Don't waste your money buying a T4 gift card for a friend or family member, just hand them the cash! read more

My son brought his whole crew of friends as part of his birthday celebration. His friends' drink orders were wrong, my drink order was disgusting (cold Vietnamese coffee) and had tons of boba (I specifically said NO boba), and it was a yucky lukewarm temperature, not a refreshing cold. :-( I couldn't have the mistakes corrected bc I wasn't physically there. I wanted to avoid the Tracy crowd so I drove Lathrop. I usually only get Thai tea at t4 but I was craving ube so I ordered a Taro milkshake and I was hungry so I ordered the basil popcorn chicken. I also asked for a topping of boba. For a large drink and popcorn chicken it was $20. The store was very clean, no line, and the employees super friendly. My order was done in less than 5 minutes. The drink was filled halfway with boba which is okay but not what I expected. I assumed the topping would be a few scoops and that could be a poor assumption on my part. The taro tasted okay I think it was a taste similar to Bambu. What I really didn't like was the popcorn chicken. It tasted very gummy. Every single one. I don't know for sure it was chicken. They do serve some seafood and it felt like the consistency of squid. I could not eat more than a few pieces. The crispy outside was very good the filling was not. At first I thought I could be all chicken thigh fat but it was all gummy and pulled apart in a gooey way. I'm giving four stars because the preparation of both items is definitely a preference and not a flaw. I would not order them again but that is a personal taste rather than quality issue. read more

We've been to this location multiple times and have had no issues. The drinks (including boba) have been consistently good and taste like they have at other T4 locations. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well. The first time we came, there was a decently long line. However, the employees were efficient and organized. The first few days that they opened were super busy since everyone was excited--but that's to be expected for any grand opening. We have yet to try their food, but I recommend this spot for the drinks and service already. The interior is nice, too. read more

Ordered two drinks and some wings. The drinks were good like any other boba drinks. The bobas were soft, chewy, and enjoyable. The egg puddings were on point in the drink and they gave plenty of it. As for the chicken wings, they were plain and did not taste good. The seasoning was not as good as expected. Also, the seasonings were sprinkled on top of the wings only. I usually go the the Tracy location and found out they opened one in Lathrop. I love how spacious this T4 is! Everything is so clean! I went on opening week and lines were super long, which is expected, but the customer service and food quality was worth the wait. The staff was very helpful and patient! They even opened an extra hour because of how busy they were. I ordered the takoyaki and wintermelon milk tea, so delicious! Very disappointed in the service we wanted to try the new local business and as soon as we walked in a rude lady yelled we're closed. The open sign was still on and there was at least 10 other customers inside. We went to eat at mikasa instead, it took us about 45 minutes and when we were finished we drove past t4 again and there open sign was still on and customers inside. One of the newest opened craze in town is T4 in Lathrop. Why newest craze you may ask it's because the line was wrapped around the corner and now i know why. The staffs are friendly, fast and efficient! I got my milk tea fast and they made it exactly as i ordered ( 50% sugar only) They also have great appetizers that you should try.
