America's Best Value Inn is part of the TA Travel Center. On a road trip through the area, we picked it for it's low price. Basically, it was conveniently located just off the highway as a place to sleep for a few hours before starting on the road again in the morning. The basic summary of the place was that it's outdated with low security but relatively clean. The biggest negative was the train horn every 30 minutes by nearby tracks. The best shower I have had on the road. This was my first time paying for a shower on the road and it was Awesome! A shower stop was necessary after being on the road for 17 plus hours. I must say I was wary and had no clue what to expect. I paid for my shower ($13) and was assigned a shower number and given an access code. My first impression once I opened the door to my private shower, sink and toilet was of relief! It was super clean and smelled great! I had my own bag of grooming supplies, towels and such however, they do provide towels and body wash pump in the shower. I was able to take a refreshing shower, wash my hair, blow dry my hair and do my makeup before leaving. It was refreshing and made me feel better for the remainder of my road trip. I would stop by again if ever passing through for travel. read more

The Country pride restaurant was really nice can't remember my waitress name but she was very nice and talkative, the truck fuel isles is really tight and congested from the entrance area, they have a hotel right next to this truck stop as well. read more

So here's why I love this place. We pull a 30' travel trailer behind a truck. Not huge by any means, but can still be tight making the turns around traditional gas stations. But ironically, it can be just as challenging at Love's and Flying J's. They're great for truckers, but if you need gas and you're trailering something, good luck. Typical truck stop with a restaurant. Multiple fueling stations; separate car and big rig bays. Driving a 22ft truck, I went in the prepay for diesel fuel, specifically relaying "Diesel". 5 mins later the pump still is not functioning.... because the cashier took for granted what I specified and instead loaded my money to the regular pumps. 15mins of my life wasted, trying to get the credit switched to the diesel pump! read more

This was the first time I'd stayed at a TA motel. Disappointing. Will never stay at one again. First, the WiFi costs 6.49 "for 24 hours." First time I had to pay for WiFi in 3 or so years. (I travel a lot.) But with the room only costing $44, I figured it was still a good deal. I knew I could use my phone's HotSpot but I figured I get a stronger connection with TA's $6.49 WiFi. Second, the WiFi doesn't work in the rooms. (WHAAAT?!) Nope. You have to sit with your laptop in the restaurant, more than half of which is closed. The guy checking me in did not mention this. Not cool. Third, They "can't" give a refund for the WiFi. Yeah, right. read more

I stopped here to use the restroom while traveling on I-40. I look for TA truck stops because I know the restrooms are clean and the stores are well stocked with travel goodies. This store is no exception. When traveling I plan my stops at places with TA Travel Centers even if it's just to use the restroom. read more

Neeeeeds an entire remodel. The only T.A. in the Ontario/Riverside and it has $25.00 and up for parking per night. The showers are old and outdated, the bathrooms are almost always really gross and some stalls either do not lock or not private at all. You can walk by and see someone's business clearly. Lounge area carpet smells foul. This location is so behind. Vegas and San Antonio Tx are way better. Ontario T.A. makes too much money to just paint a sidewalk. The manager has been requesting for a new printer for the drivers Transflo's and his office for 3 years. Terrible CONVENIENCE. There arent too many choices due to a great vast majority of companies have fuel accounts at this location. read more

I have a massive truck stop fetish, and like to stop at them whenever possible! TA, Love's, Flying J....whatever; so long as there's an actual restaurant onsite (and preferable not a boring-ass Denny's). This place has a Country Pride diner, where I had breakfast en route from Holbrook AZ to Santa Fe NM. Diner was great; typical food, reasonable prices. Service was friendly and for the most part good, although others in my party had stuff missing in their orders. We were a group of 7 though, so I cut 'em some slack -- and my personal experience was fine :-) Restrooms were clean, and the c-store was large and well-stocked with an amazing array of hats, CDs, hoodies, trucker gear, etc. Prices were very reasonable on c-store items as well. Gas prices were good too. I would definitely stop here again, as it's the only truck stop in the area with a real old-school truck stop diner (the Love's has Chester's Fried Chicken and Subway, and the Pilot has a Denny's...although there is a third truck stop with an Indian restaurant, which admittedly sounds pretty damn good). read more

Food was great, and staff were friendly. The TA Travel Center in Gallup is definitely on the top of my list for places to stop for dinner and gas when passing through the area on I-40! read more

I come to this place for weight scale each time payed cuz I used there service but the last one was there mistake went to cashier she told me to go ahead and go back to the scale I went back when I came to get my ticket other cashier you have to pay 2 dollars dosen't matter if it is our fault or any one else's we gonna charge you any way asked for manager she come and didn't know how to talk to her customer was telling me to go too other place If our scale not good I said ok no problem give my money back she said no so called there district manager and told him my story he asked to wait its 30 minutes and nothing is happening if I could give this location - would definitely give them !!!!!! - 0 star but definitely never will come to this palce. read more

4 years ago I got stranded in a blizzard for 2 days in Gallup. I first used the restaurant here then. After the first meal here, I didn't bother going anywhere else for the remaining 6 meals I had before the roads opened. Since then, when my path takes me through Gallup, I plan my meal stops and gas stops here. The service is always friendly, the food is always good, and the prices are very reasonable (food and fuel). read more
