Stopped here several times it's quiet for sleeping during the day. Showers were broke. Came back a few weeks later took a cold shower cause the hot water was so so came back after that showers are still broke but yet they're painting the parking lot. How about putting priorities first fix the showers who cares what the stripes look like. read more

There aren't too many trucks stops in this area of the Northeast so this one sticks out. Decent sized store but smaller than the usual truck stops out in the midwest. Despite the size it is a full on truck stop with showers and game rooms for the drivers. Of course snacks and sodas are available. Hot to grab food as well. There's also a section with stuff that drivers or travelers may need as well. There was a starbucks, popeyes and subway for food that was attached to the store portion. Plenty of parking for cars and trucks. read more

I am the owner of Last Laugh Trucking LLC, and on 23 MAY 2022 I needed to get an DOT Inspection. However, upon getting the inspection I didnt pass; therefore, i had to get work done on the vehicle. The work consisted of a couple of things but the line was ridiculous. In addition, Mr. Jordan Hellomns was excellent. He found my parts and even though it took long to get serviced, i was able to get everything done to my satisfaction. He's an excellent worker who goes above and beyond. If there was a candidate to select for excellence he would be the person that i choose. read more

got Starbucks, Popeye's, and Subway on one side. Forgot what else on the other side, maybe one of those self-served hot dog stations and stuff. BP (or was it Hess?) gas station outside; pricing is fair for something right off the highway. might have been another brand of gas station for trucks adjacent to the lot, noticed trucks but was too distracted to note details. but it being an obvious trucker pit stop, it only makes sense. bathroom reasonable clean, no smell. not sure the no door policy (ie. like at some airports or mall, you just walk in according to the M/W sign. there's a barrier wall so one can't see through, but no door at entrance) is safer or not in a place like this. maybe it is safer (ex. faster to get away, easier to barge in) in case of any...issues? saw a small arcade room on opposite side of hallway leading to the bathroom area; didn't check the collection though. all in all, great pit stop if one can't wait for the next service plaza alongside the highway. we were glad this was here when we needed it. read more

Don't watch TV too long in the driver's lounge otherwise you will be asked why you are in there? Where's your truck? Who do you drive for? Are you waiting for maintenance to be done? It's a holiday weekend and I would just want to relax in the lounge without being interrogated. read more

You will not find a better place to take a shower. The water pressure is so strong it feels like a massage and after a hard days driving most don't understand how comforting that is. Also the Popeyes is probably the best Popeyes and a truckstop I've ever been to. The place is clean the workers are friendly. No complaints. well worth a visit read more

Was nice now its getting to be a lot lizard hangout and absolute dump and something needs to be done if you plan on staying in business. Drivers like Me need safe well lite places to gather and get services done and it's getting to the point where it's not safe enough to deal with the bullshit at your locations in Connecticut. Easy on and easy off rest stop for gas on my return trip down I-95 from NYC to RI. This place is a convenient in that I never have to worry about it being closed even coming here at midnight. Also the station is well lit and have no problems Gas has always been reasonably priced and in some instances match the cheapest price of stations in RI. Inside the station is a well stocked convenience store complete with a Popeye's, Subway, Starbucks, a mini arcade, large clean bathrooms (most of the time), and a small TV room with comfy chairs where I assume many of the truckers and drivers lounge. read more

After a long night at the Willington, CT Travel Center working with a bunch of idiots in the truck repair shop this truck repair shop was a godsend!!! Not only did we get in and had the DOT inspection done in a matter of minutes the inspection seemed to be done with much better detail. Once they looked at the truck and decided what repairs needed to be made they made them and we were off. Talk about wasting 7+ hours at the Willington, CT location. They really need a lesson from this location on service. read more

A nice miniature version of the big travel plazas you see out west. It felt safe and everything was very clean. We grabbed a shower while we were there and the shower room was huge. read more

I was shocked to see that the bathrooms in the TA were the cleanest I had ever seen at a TA. The place was laid out nicely, people were friendly and there was plenty to choose from in the snack an soda isles. read more

Being used to waiting hours before anything gets done my wife and I were elated that before we even ordered our dinner at the restaurant Eric was calling saying to pull the truck in! that they had the parts in stock to repair our truck,we were in and out in no time...if only all shops were like this one....thank you read more
