I am writing this review after exhausting every reasonable attempt to resolve this matter…read moreprivately. I purchased my vehicle from Flow Volkswagen and later brought it back to Flow for a paid diagnostic visit due to coolant loss, drivability issues, and a check engine light. I paid for that diagnostic, and was told nothing significant was found. Shortly afterward, my independent mechanic discovered multiple serious, pre-existing issues that were either missed during Flow's diagnostic or tied directly to Flow's pre-sale service work. These included: An improperly installed water pump, missing required hardware Multiple coolant leaks and compromised cooling system integrity Corrosion and failing components related to the cooling and PCV systems A rear main seal leak requiring transmission removal Severe carbon buildup and injector issues causing drivability problems These were not minor wear-and-tear issues. The improperly installed cooling system created a real risk of sudden coolant loss and catastrophic engine damage. My independent mechanic immediately identified problems that Flow failed to catch despite charging for a diagnostic. Most concerning, Flow later acknowledged in writing that a critical component related to the water pump had not been installed correctly and offered to supply the missing part--confirming that the vehicle had been sold to me in an unsafe condition. Because of the risk involved and the lack of timely resolution, I was forced to authorize immediate repairs through my primary mechanic to prevent further damage. Those repairs totaled several thousand dollars. While Flow eventually refunded the diagnostic fee, that does not begin to address the broader issue: the vehicle was sold with improperly installed components, significant defects were missed during a paid diagnostic, and I was left to absorb the cost and stress of correcting those failures. I attempted to resolve this through: Direct communication with dealership management Volkswagen of America Better Business Bureau mediation A formal complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General At no point was this handled proactively or transparently by the dealership. I am leaving this review to warn other buyers: do not assume pre-sale inspections or paid diagnostics at this dealership are thorough or reliable. If you purchase or service a vehicle here, have it independently inspected immediately. I wish I had.

I would giveNO stars if I could. I have caliper covers on my Audi. I've had them for four years. I…read morewent to DT to get my tires rotated. When I was ready, I got in the car, drive 10 feet and had to stop. My car was clank-clanking. The covers were bent forward and very loose, hitting the rims. I stopped, reported to the Derrick, and he said he'd fix it. 10 min. later, he tells me that they didn't do anything to the covers to make them all loose, etc. Keep in mind, I had new tires installed months previously and a rotation done previously with NO PROBLEMS, with the same caliper covers. Derrick lectures me on the covers saying they are not made for my car, that they don't belong and they cause damage, and how I should just have them take them off. Umm.....Sir, why are you so hell bent on me taking something off MY car that YOU don't like. When I declined, he lowkey had an attitude and said "fine!" We will do "what we can." When I got in the car, same problem but louder, I had to go to work. Drove carefully. I called corporate, they told me the same thing....that the calipers don't belong on my car, etc. They were custom made for my car and have been PERFECT for 4 years. Now I can't help but to believe they messed them up on purpose. When I made it to work, I looked at my tire, the caliper had been bent forward, sliced thru, scraped all to be damned and flat out ruined. Fast forward, the manager called me and told me to bring the car back and he highly recommend that I take them off. Isn't that what they wanted all along? And they don't want to pay me for them for THEIR mistake. I'm seeking counsel. Why do I keep going back there? I think this is the last time. Just last year, they switched out my lugs for ones that don't go on mine. I pointed them out, bought the correct ones from the dealership and they DID reimburse me for those. But they've lost so many of my personalized valve caps until it's tiring. I'm just so UGH at companies like this. They SWEAR they can do no wrong. Just own up to your mistake and correct it. PLEASE?! Now I have got to come out of pocket for unnecessary BS, and go thru the changes of getting new caliper colors.

My life has been a blessed one. The big things always seem to work out, but I have a million little…read morethings go wrong along the way. One of them is definitely tires. I don't know what it is about me, but I'm always getting a flat, I'm always destroying them and I'm always needing a new one. I always use my AAA tows to get me to a tire repair shop before the first three months of membership are over! So a few months ago I was making a u-turn in a parking lot and went over glass and got a flat. I got it repaired. Then I made a bad turn at night and scraped up against the curb and destroyed it completely. I bought another tire and 5 minutes on my way to the beach in Greensboro, a huge piece of metal was sitting in the middle of the road and of course I went right over it and destroyed that tire immediately. No sooner did I get a new tire, that I was taking my friend's to Cookout and went over an embankment and ripped the new tire. Of course if it was a weekend and so if I wanted to replace that tire and needed to match the other tire so I went ahead and bought two tires. For some reason I kept noticing that my right tire which was brand new kept losing air. Brought it into Firestone to find out that I have a hairline crack in the rim and that itneeds to be repaired. My mechanic recommended somebody in Greensboro, but of course he was overwhelmed with customers and recommended I go to his brother-in-law that has a place in Lexington, North Carolina called Todd's Tires. An appointment was easily made and Thursday morning I headed down the highway to Lexington, North Carolina, hoping my tire would get me there. In all the years I have lived in North Carolina, I have never stopped in Lexington. It was always a pass-through kind of a town for me. I cannot tell you how many times I was going to go to the Lexington BBQ festival but never went! Walking Into Todd's Tires was like stepping back in time and very much in sync with the overall feel I got from Lexington. They took me right away, were able to repair the hairline crack, and had my tire back on in about an hour. While I was waiting, I really enjoyed watching all of the local folk stop by to either say "hey" or check in on their tire or bring in a new problem. It was all very charming and helped me forget that I had to drive all the way to Lexington for this. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Todd's Tires if that ever happened to one of my rims again. But if you are local, he looks like a great resource for rim and tire repair and service. The place kind of reminded me of my grandfather's plumbing shop in the Bronx, may he rest in peace. Old and lived in and lots of stuff all over the walls and desks and shelves but all with a certain charm and comfort that you are in good hands and they have been around for a long time! I got back on the highway to Greensboro with good intentions of coming back to Lexington for the festival or sometime just to wander around. Saw lots of nice antique stores etc. In the meantime, thanks Todd's Tires for taking me in a timely fashion and getting that repaired in time for me to be able to head to the beach!

I was very pleased that Andy could work me in today. I have a 2015 convertible - was told by a…read moremajor chain tire store that I had two cracks in my right rear wheel. The major chain tried to upsell me a wheel that cost over $1300. Andy was able to pull the wheel off the car and check for damage and only found one crack. He also discovered that the valve stem was loose. He repaired the crack, tightened the valve stem, then he went and inspected the left rear which also had a crack, but it was not losing air. He repaired that crack put it back on my car and checked the front to wheels for damage. These are folks you can actually trust not like the big stores that are try to upsell you on everything. Lexington is not convenient to where I live, but Todd's definitely is worth the drive.
