I had driven all night from Loudoun County, VA, pulling a loaded 4-horse trailer behind my F250. As I came through Asheville at 0530, the electric on my trailer failed--no brakes, no lights. I saw Newfound Tire's sign and pulled in. At that hour of the morning, there was already a mechanic working. He repaired the wiring on my trailer, then said, "No charge. Welcome to our neighborhood." I've been their customer ever since. They even filled the tires on my new tractor. I trust them completely to do a good job at the lowest possible cost to me.

They could have charged me a lot for a repair- but instead, the mechanic did a free estimate and then was honest that I'd be better off getting the repair done at the dealership, as he acknowledged that they'd know the ins and outs of my car better than he did- and that he was only making an educated guess which left room for error. In the end, he was right to send me on, because he had misdiagnosed the issue and the dealership was the better option. I thought that was real decent of him to be transparent about his limitation in that moment. I will keep using Newfound Tire for routine oil changes and tire repairs for certain.
