It's a cool bar but I've always been disappointed in the food unfortunately. The entertainment they bring is excellent so we keep coming back but every time we are disappointed with our food. The waitresses are very nice and attentive. The price is high for the quality of food being pushed out of the kitchen but if you want great entertainment, watch a game and have a beer this is the place to be. This last time we order "the special" Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos... there was absolutely nothing special about them. It was some meat thrown on some chip. Do not recommend it. Stop in about once a month. It's hit or miss with what server you get and how they listen and tell the kitchen. I'm originally from Buffalo by so I am picky about chicken wings. It's on the frontage road along US Route 27 South between the cities of Avon Park and Sebring. It's in a small plaza so parking is simple but may be a little tight on a Friday or Saturday night. Ditto if it is time for a big game. Ambience- It's a Sports Bar so sports kitsch and lots of flat screens. A large u-shaped bar divides the place into two rooms. Typical tables and booths. TouchTunes juke box for when not watching a game. Clean restrooms. Blindingly fast Wi-Fi so you can share your excitement with friends. It's a great place to watch a game! Customer Service- I've been here many times and never had a problem. They use the tag-team approach so expect a couple of folks to touch you. Adult Libations- Full bar and tap and bottle beer. Occasional 2 for 1 specials on domestic beers in addition to Happy Hour specials. Food- Wings (Including boneless), chicken wraps and sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Much of the chicken is available grilled or fried. Sauces-They are famous for them! There are dozens and dozens of beautifully organized choices, and they are all homemade! On this visit I ordered the Bufalucca Chicken Sandwich with grilled chicken. It has the usual toppings. The twist is you get to choose a sauce and I went with the Cajun Rub. My side was Fresh Cut Fries. To quaff I choose the Skyway Hazy Double IPA. Excellent! Excellent! The chicken was moist and spicy from the rub. The veges were crisp. They need to upgrade to a more robust bun but that's a minor quibble. The Fresh Cut Fries were spot on. I moaned when I sipped that Double IPA. If they'd had a Triple, I might have had an orgasm! (I do not put names in reviews) was great and very friendly. The food, awesome, the bone in wings are huge and boneless chicken chunks appear to be hand cut chicken breasts. Everything we had was great, the sweet potatoes fries, cheese sticks, and hand cut fries. Miss K. was on point as a waitress; my order was one wing short and she INSITED I get that wing. Overall; excellent food, sauce choices; something for everyone; wings, top three I have ate. This place as long as it is open will be my place to stop when I return from home from Orlando! Me & my family went around lunch time & there was only one server BUT she was very attentive & was absolutely wonderful!! The food is great but the customer service sucks. My mom left a positive review on their facebook page and the only criticism she has was that she would appreciate if they updated their hours of operation online so we don't have to drive all the way to the restaurant just to find out that they're closed because the hours are posted on their door. However, the owner decided it was appropriate to block her on Facebook even though they are regulars and have been going there for years. Food- way overpriced for what it is. Charging 7 bucks for a basket of fries is even pushing past Disney prices and they aren't that good just because they call them "fresh cut". Wings are mediocre and expensive at nearly $18 for 12 and you get charged $.75 for every sauce. Drinks- your standard bar option including a lackluster selection of beers and wine. Prices are tolerable when they offer a 2 for 1 happy hour and when they don't run out of Bud Light. They ran out and didn't have a backup keg. Like don't advertise it if you don't have enough. Waste of time and money. Service- quick enough for the amount of customers in the place at the time of this review. Had to ask for another beer instead of being asked if I wanted another one. Didn't get asked how my food was or if I needed anything else before the tab just showed up on my table. Ambiance- decent place in terms of tvs to watch. Bar was not busy for it being a weekend at lunch time either plenty of NFL games on. I assume this is due to the hefty prices. I had to ask for an NFL game to be put on as they were not showing any. Overall Buffaluca's is ok if you're looking for a place to go and have a drink or two during happy hour and you only drink domestic beers. I was completely patient with her - not her fault that she was the only one working. Tuesday night is two-for-one night, so I went with 12 boneless wings in two flavors: Citrus Habanero and Spicy BBQ. Both had a serious amount of heat in them and I am not kidding. I went through the entire pot of ranch dressing (she never asked if I wanted ranch or bleu cheese) before turning into the main course. The chicken wrap in "hot" and damn, this was absolutely hot. I'm glad I knew better than to even consider the Insane. The mac & cheese on the side did help to quell the heat, but this was pretty standard mac & cheese that was a step up from Kraft. Happy hour beer specials made me happy. Two for one 16 ounce draft pints. Nothing special, brand-wise though. Good service, very hot food, nice clean restaurant. First time here. Liked the fact of happy hour all day on a lot of their drinks. Beer was ice cold and hit the spot. They also had a buy 6 get 6 free on the boneless chicken wings so we ordered. These are huge prices of all white chicken chunks. We dipped them in the sriracha honey sauce which was perfect. A little fire with a sweet finish. The wings were smoked and were absolutely amazing and.... decently priced. They were smoked and then tossed in siracha chili sauce. The smokiness came through and it was simply amazing. Wow I can't say enough about this place. We had a great waitress very attentive. My Girlfriend and my Daughter decided that tats where they wanted to take me. So we had appetizers fried pickles , almost as good as the ones at the state fair back home but better than any around here. The Nachos where amazing! However I did not eat much as My girlfriend and her son decided to do the wing challenge. It's some serious business To do this and total insanity 6 wings five min and nothing to drink for another 6 min. However I passed as I'm a Connoisseur of hot stuff. The kind that can kill you haha. I have NEVER had a good meal here. I've tried since they opened, every few months. Ordered different things - it's NEVER right. Tonight I placed a huge to-go order, $100. Got home and a whole order of wings were missing, and 3 orders of fries that were incorrect. Went back to the store (because no one would answer the phone), they gave me the next order of wings and threw some sauce on top, gave me some seasoning to try and fix the wrong fries. Those wings had barely any sauce and just tasted plain - and half of the order still had feathers on them!! So gross, they went right in the trash. My husband and I went here for the first time last night. Wings are a little pricey but they are everywhere. I don't know our waitresses name but she was amazing! We ordered mushrooms for an appetizer, some scruffy guy delivered them to our table with no plates or silverware. We asked for plates, he kind of grunted. He brought our plates with his big ol' hand almost directly in the middle of the plate! I said 'now that you've had your hand all over my plate could I get a clean one? That really ticked him off, so he acted. Still not a word out of him. So he makes this BIG production out giving me a clean plate like he was only touching it from the bottom. Still no word or smile......nothing but bad vibes. I tell our waitress about it and she says 'that's the owner"!! I'm sure the health dept. would agree with me, don't be putting your hands all over my plate. Common courtesy is, you apologize!! Don't be so rude! I will yelp this incident also. We had the best service on Saturday even. The food is also on point and the waitresses and bartender young lady's are very friendly and do a great job. There was only one young lady working Saturday night. Even being by herself she had a smile on her face and extremely friendly. The owner and his wife did help her and both very friendly.
