    Half of a Ruben $28
    Jayde L.

I ordered online through their website. I ordered the Ruben and it came with a side salad, I got my food and realized it was just half of a sandwich, which wouldn't be a big deal except it was $28!!!??? $28 for half of a sandwich is insane. I also ordered the macaroni, it not only lacked salt and flavor but the noodles were way too firm like they hadn't been cooked all of the way. Good portion size for the price at least. Brussel sprouts were good. The jalapeño poppers were bland, smelled spicy so it's a big disappointment. Mostly bacon bits and cream cheese and the jalapeños themselves were very tiny. If you're looking for jalapeño poppers that are high quality, go to Matador in Ballard If you're trying to waste money on bland food or over pay for half a sandwich, you have found your place!! Parking lot is also cramped and not ADA friendly.

I got a Rueben and a Bloody Mary! Both were delicious and served correctly. I got chips as well which also were delicious. The service was quick and efficient. Inside is comfortable and casual. Plenty of people enjoying their brews.

We went this weekend out as a family and stopped here! The staff and our server Brenton were very nice and welcoming and he exceeded expectations, very wonderful and charming! He helped us with any questions we had and although they don't have any gluten free alternatives currently, hopefully they get some soon. Our food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. They have a patio to enjoy the sun and big windows for sunlight to come through. It's a bit dark inside but the atmosphere was nice! Overall, we had a great time and would come back again.

    French Dip!

I've been to Trails End before but it was ages ago. It's a nice ambiance on the inside. Lots of wood and an exposed wood-fire oven. I had the French Dip and it was serviceable. My waitress was lovely and the experience was good overall. I'd like to try the pizzas one day!

This seems to have become my regular spot right before prom season. I've gotten the salmon dish twice, the one with the dill sauce and both times I have been very satisfied. The sauce is so yummy and creamy, but I would warn you to take a Lactaid before if dairy is something that bothers you. I also warned you that to get extra sauce. It is six dollars for a little container so would not recommend. Ha ha. Thanks to my waiter for warning me before charging me. Everyone's very friendly here. I like that this is a family own business and they have quality food and a variety of menu items. They have really pretty outdoor seating nice days too.

The best shrimp & grits of my life for real.

We have been coming in for years and the food is always good but the new brunch has the best shrimp & grits I've ever had. It's cheesy(Gouda) and has blackened shrimp and a spicy sauce, the combination of flavors is My husband had the chicken & waffles and it was really good, large portion of chicken and cooked perfectly. The service was great & our coffee & tea was always full.

The atmosphere here is classic American. A lot of dark wood, beer, and white people. I really liked the fire pits outside, which came in handy when we needed to wait to be seated on a Friday night. We were sat upstairs which I ended up hating because there were two large groups that were loud AF. Not the restaurants fault. We got this salmon spread that was really delicious, and my SO liked his meat dish... which did have a delicious mushroom gravy. However, my pizza sucked. It had a weird flavor profile that I flat out didn't enjoy, so I didn't eat it. The food is also on the pricier side so that was extra disappointing. I would go back and try something different... but on a weeknight and I'll skip the pizza.

Monday night dinner with my Mum to watch the NCAA March Madness Finale. We shared a 6 oz filet and a pizza. We enjoyed the steak - good cut of meat and the broccoli. The mashed potatoes were very thick so would pass on those in the future. The pizza we asked to be cooked a bit extra which was perfect, glad we did. We left with 1/2 a pizza leftover. My Mum had the cider - Basil Mint - she said she'd pass next time. The waitress Bailie was kind, attentive and a good server. The TVs throughout made it easy to keep tabs on the game. Good ambiance/space. We sat in the bar which was good.

Service was AMAZING and the food was even better! Totally worth the wait! Not to mention the ambiance, the lighting and wood interior made it feel cozy af! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We took the family here for dinner after swimming at the aquatic center across the street. First time trying their menu and we all loved it. The pizza was awesome and the French dip was phenomenal. Chicken tenders were juicy and the ranch was home made. The service was very friendly and fast. The waitress was amazing and always checked on us and got us lots of drinks. They also have a great beer menu that was reasonably priced. We sat on the patio on a cool day and it was very comfortable. We look forward to coming back for lunch.

Service was great and great outdoor seating with heaters while you wait for your table (in the winter). Ambience was average and this place use to be an indoor soccer arena. Brussel sprouts and jalapeño poppers were great apps! However, the linguine pasta white sauce lacked a lot of flavor. Overall, not a bad sports bar and a solid choice if you're in the area.

May Day! May Day! Trail's End has liquor! Now that I have your attention...it's known our family gets excited for the monthly specials. Well this month they have Bloody Marys and Espresso Martinis in addition to more numerous than typical special food dishes. Don't be like me and forget to look at the dessert menu until after you pay... I wasn't after a cocktail...it was midday on a Thursday, but I was intrigued by the mention of maple syrup for the Espresso Martini so I had to go for it. My son is used to seeing me get beer there so even he was wondering what the fancy glass was..."Grown-up chocolate milk." Delicious and total mid-week pick-me-up! Normally I need to be in a mood for one of these. I love that they use hyper-local Skip Rock spirits and Ashley had the rad idea to incorporate a little maple syrup as a nod to Trails' Maple Ave location...clever! The other star to my day was the Tri-tip sandwich. OMG...if this was added to the main menu, I legit would never order anything else! My quest for "The Perfect Trail's End Special" has officially ended. The beef was so tender and perfectly sliced...the avocado was fresh and even the pickled onions stood out. This was literally the most perfect balance of flavors, without being over the top. The buttery Macrina bun made this absolute perfection. I've had MANY amazing experiences at Trail's End over the years, both service and food related. This lunch visit was definitely tops all around thanks to fabulous food, drinks, Cosy, Ashley, and Joy! I even got my son to try something new to him...Turkey Grilled Cheese on sourdough with bacon. We texted Dad at work and he was jealous ;)

Food was pretty good - just selected a few of their appetizers; my favorite was the fried dumplings! Spam Masubi was just ok, kinda dry - I'm used to there being a bit of eel sauce beyond just the spam glaze, but I'd try it again! The Mac salad could have used some salt and pepper. Note: they did offer me S&P, so I could have spruced it up myself & I understand wanting to cater to majority tastes - nonetheless I found it to be a bit bland. Multiple Tv screens. Looks like a good place to catch a game with friends. Overall, will be back!

First, credit where it's due: our server, Ed (Edgar), was great. Friendly, personable, attentive, and honestly the MVP of the meal. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger was aggressively average, under-seasoned and giving strong "straight from the freezer to the grill" energy. I also asked for extra pickles, which was a mistake on my part because their house-made pickles were not it. Lesson learned. The onion rings had potential, but they showed up undercooked mushy on the inside, not crispy enough on the outside, and basically just flirting with greatness instead of committing. My biggest pet peeve is cold food, and this meal came out after a suspiciously long wait only to arrive warm-ish at best. Not hot. Not fresh. Just "this definitely sat in the window for a while" temperature. My dining partner ordered the Sno BLT and said it was decent, but the bread needed more toasting and there was an overwhelming amount of Mayo. I also prefer a thicker bread, but that may just be me being picky. Would I eat here again? If I was already at the casino, hungry, and losing money anyway...sure. Would I come to the casino specifically to eat here? Absolutely not.

Crunchy and tasty. One of my buds had the French Dip and another the cod and chips. Fries were excellent. On the overall - a good experience.
