Chicken & Waffles were lukewarm and not presented that well, and the Breakfast Sandwich left a lot on the table to be desired in terms of flavor. Roasted potatoes seemed undercooked and wanted them to be more crispy. Came here on a Saturday morning/brunch time, no wait time and was able to seat right away. We were seated at the back of the restaurant where we had the view of the main lobby. This spot absolutely delivers on elevated comfort food with Southern twist & flair.I had the biscuit & Creole gravy, with perfectly made biscuits smothered in a rich, flavorful creole sauce with just the right kick. My boyfriend ordered the Brisket Benedict, and it was a tender, smoky brisket layered over poached eggs, topped with a velvety hollandaise. We had dinner reservations at Table 33 but when we checked in, the hostess told us our table was still in use and suggested we get a drink in the bar. Our wait for our table was close to 30 minutes, which isn't the end of the world, but a frustrating way to start our evening. I asked the bartender for a drink recommendation and she suggested the Vanilla Cloud which was one of the best cocktails I have had in a while. We were then led to our table, down a very stylish hallway with small private rooms off to the side. We were seated in a small dining room with 5 tables total. I now see why it's difficult to get a reservation, the rooms are so divided up that it limits their seating capacity but we very much enjoyed the quiet, cozy environment. For my dinner, I ordered the gnocchi appetizer and the brussels sprouts side dish. The side dish was just ok. They were heavy handed with the balsamic, in my opinion, and about a third of the sprouts were extremely salty. The dish was very inconsistent. However, the gnocchi were amazing! They were served on top of a butternut squash puree which was delicious. Our dinner, which consisted of 3 cocktails, bread & butter, an entree, an app, and a side dish came to just over $207. We opted not to have dessert but our server told us about their dessert room concept which I can't decide if it's ingenious or just inconvenient. If you want dessert, you first pay for your dinner, then you are led to the dessert room that is billed separately. We did get a peak of the room which was gorgeous and did entice us to come back to give it a try. I'm just not sure if the concept is sustainable in Dayton. read more

Everything was so great from start to finish. So warm and welcoming the minute you step through the door. We came at 11:15 for brunch and there wasn't any wait. We were given a table in the dome. It was bright and open, very lovely. It was a bit chilly outside so we were offered something to warm up, the choices were very nice, and the latte was a wonderful way to heat up. We ordered the "Winter Waffle" and it does not disappoint. It was not just an amazing looking presentation on the plate alone, but absolutely delicious to eat. Sweet with the Chantilly cream, the caramelized almonds added a candied crunch, and tart with the cranberry compote. The waffle was crisp on the outside but tender and soft on the inside, like a warm croissant with buttery flaky layers. It was so good, and to top it off, literally, the maple flavored cotton candy! The waffle came with syrup, but we didn't really need to use it, delicious just on its own. We were advised to maybe pair it with a savory side, and we picked the "Breakfast Potatoes". They were savory, with crisp outside and soft inside. Perfect amount of herbs and garlic and salt. Must try with their ranch dressing made from scratch, it brings it all together. One of great things about this restaurant is that they use locally-sourced products and ingredients! On the way in we caught sight of some of local items for sale. So we made sure to stop on the way out and snag some. There was a good selection of different items for sale. There was even local honey that I will be coming back for the next time I stop in. All in all a great experience, wonderful service, delicious food, and a good range of items from local businesses, this was the best brunch I've had, and will be going back. I love the new location at the Arcade. We had a reservation but our table was occupied so we grabbed a drink in the bar, very cozy feel the bar tenders were great recommend a cocktail for my wife, she said it was the best cocktail she has had in a long time, I had a very nice old fashion. Our table was finally ready, we headed in down a hallway with semi private 'rooms' on each side. We ordered out appetizer, which was pretty slow in getting to us, just bread and butter so I was surprised, but we were not in a hurry. I ordered the Boneless short rib. It arrived very tasty and well plated but it was a piece of chuck roast not a short rib. I'm a big beef guy and cook quite a bit, I know a short rib when I see one. Very tasty meal, but I feel cheated. Next we were offered a trip to the desert room. We declined but asked to see it. We were led to a private section of the restaurant and it looked amazing. We are excited to come back and try it. Overall we really enjoyed our meal, but waiting a half an hour for a table when we have a reservation and not getting what I ordered was a bit disappointing. One said she was cleaning our table then never came back so after a few minutes someone else came up and asked again who we were and what were waiting on...not a good first impression. Can't say enough nice things about our experience here. Valet parking was nice. The entire staff was amazing. Great atmosphere. All of the food was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. It's a tad bit pricey for downtown Dayton but all the great things I've said make it worth it. The only gripe I have is we moved over to the dessert room (the main reason my family member wanted to go there for her birthday) they got the chocolate table experience and while cool I have to say the plate of goodies they give to dip is not anywhere close to what's listed on the menu or in the IG photos. Nothing homemade, nothing unique. The plate we got had store bought gummy bears, scraps of potato chips, bagged popcorn, nilla wafers, a Rice Krispie treat out of a package....for $25 a person it was underwhelming to say the least. A very cool place to visit in the Dayton Arcade! They've been redoing the Arcade for years and Table 33 is the perfect addition to this historic space. It's beautiful inside. It was very fresh, large, and tasty. For entrees we had the filet and steelhead trout. Both were phenomenal. The filet was so very tender you didn't need a steak knife! Came here on a Sunday for brunch with some friends and we had a nice time! Was able to find street parking for free on Sunday about a block away. We were able to be seated immediately in the arcade area. The area was cool and had the nice lighting from the top. There was a fly that was a little obnoxious. Workers were all very pleasant and friendly. I ordered the House Crunch Salad with salmon and really enjoyed it. The dressing was delicious and I loved the quinoa crunch in it. The menu has various breakfast favorites, but also some more unique items. I had the classic traditional breakfast, and it was perfect. A five star start to the New Year! So glad we made it here for a Saturday brunch. An urban setting, city brunch. I like the ordering at the counter concept. Since it was our first visit we chose a table and perused the menu for a bit. The staff were all so helpful, and there were plenty of them on hand. We were brought waters and silverware while deciding. We had the steak & eggs, and the chicken and Waffles. Quintessential brunch! Hangar Steak! It has been so long since I had Hangar steak and it was so good. I remember it being thinner than what was served but the taste and texture were unmistakable. Chicken and Waffles were fantastic, loved the spicy Ohio maple syrup. (All the food is local and mostly organic. ) Bloody was fabulous. Rich and well seasoned. Menu didn't show the price but probably $11 based on our total for the table. City price, city quality, and well worth it. I see exposed brick, raw wood, eclectic and unique decor depending from the ceiling. A window of wine bottles. Variety of artwork on the walls. Classy bar in the back. Open kitchen right behind the order counter. Laid back and welcoming atmosphere. Loved the recycled piping in the bathroom fixtures! I get the feeling that parking during dinner service might be a hassle, but no major issue there at weekend brunch. If I had to find one negative I'd say both dishes were cooked a minute or so more than they should have been, so next time I would just be sure to point out my preferences at time of order. Look, any place that calls to mind "the City" (NY) and especially the Village (Greenwich) in the days of their former glory is going to get high marks from me, and Table 33 slammed it. Medium rare filet was served barely rare. Cesar salad was heavily dressed, but otherwise good. Bread appetizer was okay, but shouldn't be a need to pay for average bread before a meal. I forgot to ask if the soup would be spicy and it was, so I gave it to my friend. She loved it. The scallops were good--all three of them. I ended up putting them into my salad. I loved the salad. It was delicious. Service was attentive. The only thing was that one person in our group ordered filet mignon. It came overcooked--very overcooked. What surprised me is that the waiter did not check on the steak as soon as it arrived. It was too long before the filet was sent back to the kitchen. He ended up eating his dinner after all of us finished dinner. Totally unacceptable for a restaurant of this quality. I know that he was compensated for the issue, but it should not have happened. Ingredients are farm fresh and very vegetarian friendly. We got the quesadilla and omelet which were both very delicious. Both flavors are light and not heavy. My tip for the omelet is to choose the side of YOGURT which I added on top of my omelet. The omelet is more natural ingredients and does not have heavy flavor or sauce - so the yogurt is the perfect add-on flavor on top. We like coming here for brunch after church on Sundays. A few times we have asked for jam or jelly for our toast and we're told we don't have it but we sell it out front. Well forget that. We came this past Sunday and the waitress asked if we wanted jelly and I even commented, oh you have it now? A 1 ounce tiny jar of Bonne Maman came with my husband's brioche toast. Our food was good and the waitress was very nice. Then when we received our bill, we noticed we were charged two dollars for that little jar of jelly without being told there was an up charge. 1. If you're going to charge someone something, tell them ahead of time. Don't offer it like it's free. Even though it's only two dollars it's the principle. 2. And are you that hard up to charge two dollars for a tiny little jelly jar? Why don't you just buy jelly or jam in bulk and give a little bit on the side? Charging for jelly is really petty. I must of hit them on an off day. Took a date here for brunch last weekend. We waited in a bit of a line to order, only to find out that they were out of a handful of items including burgers, pulled pork, biscuits and gravy, and muffins. This is almost a quarter of the menu. I didn't mind too much since those weren't the items we were wanting, but I believe it had caused a bit of a backup as other guests were busy rethinking their orders. Nevertheless we were able to order without much issue. This is a quick service setup where you order your food, find a table, and they bring you your meal. When we first arrived it seemed like they were struggling to turn over the tables, but the dining room did clear up quickly once we sat down. I'm guessing this might have been somewhat related to the availability of food. My date and I tried the Cinnamon Espresso Roll, the Tomato Soup, and a cocktail called Time to Sparkle. Of all the items, the soup was easily the strongest offering, though my date wanted it to be a bit warmer. It had a great texture and a robust flavor. I found the icing on the Cinnamon Roll to be a bit thin in terms of flavor and texture. The drink was a bit odd. The sweetness of the Cognac just didn't blend well with the other ingredients. We did find that stirring it made the drink more palatable, but overall it was a miss. Overall I could not say that it was an above average experience. I'm willing to give them another shot, but since I don't live in town the opportunities are few and far between. read more
