I was told to bring my Medicare/health ins, driver's license to appt. I filled out copious paperwork. I was finally escorted into an office to wait for the doctor. I was asked if I needed payment info. I said that my ins should pay 100% as it was a covered benefit but pricing was good to know. The attendant told me that it would be $250 for the evaluation, that is ZERO treatment. I would then have to return for treatment of my very painful hip. $250 is a ridiculous pricing structure especially as it includes no treatment. (Typical Chiropractic visits are $40) I felt that I had made a doctor's appt and ended up in a bill collector's office. I did not stay. If you can't afford the evaluation it's a dead cinch you can't afford the treatment. Oh and by the way, they won't bill Medicare for you and you can't submit your own bills to Medicare so that entire process was a ruse & a waste of time. This entire experience though educational, was an utter waste of time, don't waste yours.

His staff is very friendly and the office is well organized & clean. Since it was my first visit, I had made an appointment a few days prior. However, I was told that all future visits would be on a walk-in basis (no appt required). The doctor listened well while I explained my health issues and he asked good questions. He gave me an adjustment and we discussed follow up care (ice, heat, etc). Then he sent me over to the masseuse for a ten minute therapeutic massage. Shocking--the ten minute massage was INCLUDED in the already low cost of my first appointment. Not only that, but I found a $10 off coupon on the EC website to lower the cost even more--Score! My only regret is that I didn't visit him sooner! I have been procrastinating my chiropractic care since my medical insurance lapsed last month. As it turns out, I didn't need to worry at all. Express Chiropractic is very reasonably priced and today's visit (without insurance) cost me less than my typical copays in the past. I love the idea of cutting out over-complicated insurance companies to free up both time & money to reduce costs. This more affordable patient-direct pricing and the way it encourages wellness visits vs sick care, is part of what sets this doctor apart.
