I had a specific problem that needed adjustment. When I called for my first appt, I was booked in March 2022. I was able to get in on 01/20/22 due to a cancellation. I was told to bring my Medicare/health ins, driver's license to appt. I filled out copious paperwork. I was finally escorted into an office to wait for the doctor. I was asked if I needed payment info. I said that my ins should pay 100% as it was a covered benefit but pricing was good to know. The attendant told me that it would be $250 for the evaluation, that is ZERO treatment. I would then have to return for treatment of my very painful hip. $250 is a ridiculous pricing structure especially as it includes no treatment. (Typical Chiropractic visits are $40) I felt that I had made a doctor's appt and ended up in a bill collector's office. I did not stay. If you can't afford the evaluation it's a dead cinch you can't afford the treatment. Oh and by the way, they won't bill Medicare for you and you can't submit your own bills to Medicare so that entire process was a ruse & a waste of time. This entire experience though educational, was an utter waste of time, don't waste yours. read more

Before calling Pecan Country Chiropractic, I was having pain from my elbows to the ends of my fingers due to compression in my neck. I was set up with Dr. Johnson who was truly phenomenal. Was scheduled for a new patient appointment with this chiropractor. I was running a few (10) minutes late getting there. My wife called to let them know I was on the way, and received a curt response that I should already be there, and in the room waiting for the Dr. because he had to leave the office by 9:45 am, and "that is what schedules are for." Wow! She said the appointment would probably have to be rescheduled. When I got there, sure enough, I was rescheduled for two weeks later. I guess they have more business than they need. I will be visiting a different chiropractor, since I don't need to be treated like an inconvenience by any healthcare front office staffer, no matter how good the Dr. may be. read more

Running is my form of exercise and stress relief and when I started having hip pain I was not able to continue running due to the pain. I *highly* recommend Pecan Country Chiropractic. Dr. Scaramozi is an expert, I always feel comfortable having my spine and neck adjusted by him. I initially went to see him for my slight scoliosis, my ribs would sometimes catch and I wouldn't be able to inhale fully. A few months of appointments later, I have zero back pain and my posture is SO much better- my spine is not like a squiggly question mark anymore. Today I pulled a muscle in my lower back, it hurt so bad I wanted to cry! I called him for help and he was able to see me just one hour later. He worked his magic, and now I don't hurt anymore! I can actually sit down and bend over without wincing in pain, total transformation from when I walked in 15 minutes earlier.
