What keeps me coming back to Big Fish is the wide variety of bait they offer. From frozen to live, their fridge is stocked for different fishing styles. Whether I'm after frozen squid, shrimp or live lugworms for pier and shore fishing, I know I'll find what I need. While the prices have slightly increased over the years, they still remain reasonable. They also have plenty of the usual tackle to where I can get weights, hooks, jigs, and more! I haven't needed the rod or reel service or purchased larger items yet, but they are knowledgeable and offer some fishing advice and information. They are located near Seal Beach and have early morning opening hours all week. On weekends, they are open at 5 am, whereas the rest of the week is at 7 am.

I haven't been…read morehere before and it's also been a while since I purchased a firearm, so since it's pretty far from where I live, I called ahead to ask what documents I needed and what they accept as secondary proof of residency. I feel like that can vary from shop to shop, so I wanted to make sure I came prepared. I didn't realize how busy this place gets. I walked in and checked in at the door using the laptop, and there were about 10 people or parties ahead of me. I ended up waiting around 30 to 40 minutes, which wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. Andre helped me with everything and made the process pretty easy. I took the FSC test there, and he was also super helpful when I was deciding which Beretta I wanted. Overall, it was a really good experience purchasing a firearm here. Pickup was just as easy. I went when they opened and there was no wait, even though I had an appointment scheduled for a later time. I was in and out pretty quickly, which was nice. My only complaint is more about the customers than the store. If you're planning to purchase a firearm, I'd recommend doing some research beforehand on what documents you need and whether you're legally able to purchase one. I saw someone spend quite a bit of time looking at different pistols and optics, only to find out they couldn't make a purchase. I feel like knowing this ahead of time would save both the customer and employees some time. One thing to keep in mind is that they do have an appointment system, and you can also join the virtual line through their website. I didn't know that before going, so definitely something I'll take advantage of next time. Overall, really good experience and I'll definitely be coming back.
