(Menu is attached) I loved the the chef's personality...he worked his butt off in their make shift kitchen, so kudo's for that! It was a fun time...we sat with a local couple from Winnie and had a blast experiencing the food...wine and conversation...they were already familiar with the wine because they live down the street as did most of the people that were there. The tasting was basically a "sip" of individual wines they had paired with alligator, quail, venison and duck. They literally poured a sip of each wine, I'm like, hey man we paid $70 and drove over an hour to get here! Pfft! A sip? This is a pairing not a taste! Because of the wine tasting being just sips...we bought TWO bottles of their Black Spanish rose'...yum! Clay and Stacy Rollins own the vineyard and we had the pleasure of meeting them during our dinner; Mr Rollins said it's been tough keeping abreast of things during this pandemic. He started growing the grapes in 2011 (which is a task because that area floods during heavy rains) he finally opened since 2014. He said, they had to close during the start of the pandemic last year ( 2020) for 4 months and that he's glad they can open for "event" type activities. Mr Rollins told me their grapes are bought from all over Texas...but, mostly from the panhandle area (Lubbock) and processed in a plant in Nacogdoches, TX . We had alligator from Alabama, (wait what?) Quail from Texas Quail farms in Lockhart, TX (cool) duck from Maple Leaf farms in California and deer meat (venison) from New Zealand of all places!! (I was kinda surprised the proteins weren't locally sourced.) All in all, it was a fun time. The wine sips served were really good, mostly reds with 1 white. If you're within the Chambers County area stop by but, buy your own bottle cuz they stingy!!! LOL! FYI: HEB's in Mont Belvieu, Baytown, and Winnie TX sell their wine. I'm glad I got to experience this winery having come from 85 miles away...great job on y'all's wine accomplishments and awards. SUPPORT LOCAL BUY LOCAL

I've attended Winofest wine events before and always enjoy the experience. The atmosphere is fun,…read morethe wine selections are great, and it's a really nice way to spend time with friends or meet new people who enjoy wine. Their team is also very professional and responsive, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they care about creating a great event for their guests. I'm looking forward to attending another Houston event soon. Highly recommend checking them out if you enjoy wine tastings and social events!

My experience with Texas Winos started off on a positive note. In June 2025, I attended one of…read moretheir Wino Fest events in Magnolia and thoroughly enjoyed it. Based on that experience, I booked the Fredericksburg Vintner Winery Tour & Italian Lunch for my birthday in July 2025. Unfortunately, less than an hour before the tour was scheduled to begin, it was canceled. We were notified by email that the scheduled driver had experienced a medical emergency and the backup driver was already assisting with another event. The company apologized and offered to double our winery tour credits, provide free tickets to any 2025 Wino Fest, and allow us to attend a Boat Bash on Lake Travis that same day. While I appreciated the gesture, the Boat Bash offer was impossible to accept. We received the email around 10:00 a.m., and the event began at 11:30 a.m. We were already in Fredericksburg, so there was no realistic way to drive to Lake Travis in time. Although my birthday plans were ruined, I understood that emergencies happen and accepted the four winery tour credits and two Wino Fest tickets for future use. A year later, for my birthday in July 2026, I decided to use my credits to book the same Fredericksburg winery tour. We arrived at the designated meeting location early and waited for the tour to begin. The scheduled start time came and went, but no driver or tour vehicle ever arrived. Even more frustrating, there was no communication whatsoever to let us know there was a delay, cancellation, or any other issue. I immediately called, texted, and emailed the company but did not receive a response for more than an hour. Richard eventually replied by email, stating that the driver had picked up the vehicle on time and that their digital roster showed the other attendees had joined the tour. This only added to my confusion because I had arrived early at the exact meeting location provided in their confirmation link. I even replied with a screenshot from their own link showing where I had been instructed to meet, but I never received another response that day. The following day, I again requested an explanation for what had happened and asked for a refund. I received no response to either request. After two consecutive years of having my birthday plans ruined by this company, I can no longer recommend them. My communications have been with Richard, and based on my experience, I feel I was treated unfairly and ignored when I tried to resolve the situation. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before booking and hopefully avoid the disappointment that I experienced.
