This is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Lincolnton. The chips & salsa are yum! I haven't found anything there I don't like, but I keep going back to my favorite dish, the Indio Soup. Y'all! It is SO good - loads of shredded chicken, Mexican rice, sliced fresh mushrooms, the perfect amount of pico de gallo, cilantro, chunks of avocado & more in the most amazing broth - it comes together into a scrumptious, very filling soup. When I work from home, my hubby will say, "Want me to pick up T & T for your lunch?" "Uhh, YEAH!! You never have to ask!" And then I order two soups so I can have it several times. You also can choose from quesadillas, burritos, chimichangas, sopapillas, rice, beans and other options. Price doesn't include a drink. Plenty of seating and parking. The food here good. The issue we have is with the service. On one visit the waiter took our order while we were seated in a booth but he was standing at the register in the main dining room. So we had to raise our voice a bit to place our order. He was also a bit sarcastic. He did not return to check on drink refills, instead we had to ask for them. So overall this isn't our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. read more

Taco is a staple in Lincolnton. It has been here for years and is part of the Gaston family of restaurants called La Fuete. The building is nice and large with plenty of space, and on my last visit was very clean. Lucy runs a great business and service is always good. One thing T&T prides itself on is its use of fresh ingredients. Everything is made in house and is always consistent. We love this place! read more

This is the worst service EVER! Me and my friend came here about 9 after work and they were not busy at all, they got our drinks and chips and salsa and it took them over 20 mins too take our order!!! But remind you we have been sitting here for over 20 mins and the couple behind us, came in after us! They got their order first and all the waitresses walked by us like we have already ate or something!! I definitely don't recommend this restaurant!! I'm sorry but this was hands down the worst Mexican food I've had since moving to NC. The enchiladas were dry, the rice was bland, beans were burnt and the chimichanga was literally just a fried tortilla with flavorless dry chicken. They were the most rudest people ever , I'm with my teenager son on taco Tuesday excited to spend this time with him we order 5 tacos each and lemon water that we always drink ,I keep a menu to order a take out for my husband but they refuse to serve us after we sat there ten minutes because we didn't want soda they said unless we order soda or tea they couldn't serve us so we left without food or anything i thought that was so rude and cold that any business would refuse anyone because they wasn't paying a lot or what ever there reason was I will never go back ..this place should go out of business my opinion if they treat customers like that over there own specials !! read more

Went in yesterday for the first time. Waited in the lobby area for about 10 mins before anyone acknowledged us. Server was nice. Asked for queso and it seemed to just be melted cheese, no spice what so ever. Food was cold and took and long time also order was missing items then was incorrectly charged for them. Also asked for chicken and got beef. This was at most mediocre Mexican food. Do not get Tamales they were horrible. Will not be returning. read more

Went for lunch on MLK day. Enrico was our server and was excellent. The restaurant was very busy. I had the spiciest but edible Shrimp Diablo I have ever eaten. Our little grandson had chicken quesos, my wife had a Shrimp salad and our daughter had Carnetas. Cheese cake for desert topped it off. A very good lunch overall. read more

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The best salsa, good margaritas and reasonable prices. I speak a little Spanish and have a high restaurant-specific vocabulary, so it's fun to practice while I'm there. Bad food and bad service. We eat Mexican a lot and this is one we will never eat at again. My son only eats cheese dip when we go- and he didn't even like theirs...that says a lot. Plus the waitress was very dry and didn't smile or even greeted us and then she argued with me that they charged us 4.50 for cheese dip when it was 2.25 - but "I didn't specify if I wanted the large or small one"- the one I saw on the menu said : cheese dip $2.25. Food is worth a stop. My issue is they include a tip for a party of 6 and make no mention of it. My itemized bill was placed behind the receipt which had a prominent spot for gratuity. I always tip well and was surprised when I got home and saw they had added a tip already. I will continue to tip well for good service, I just will not be going back to this place. read more
