Went in on Saturday for a good breakfast, and since Cuban food is so similar to Puerto Rican cuisine , I was excited to dig in! Sam was our server and she was amazing -- super attentive and made sure I got my order in just before breakfast ended . To start, I had a cortadito and a ham & cheese croqueta -- both were the perfect warm-up for my taste buds. For my main, I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich with pepper jack cheese and asked if the ham could be warmed up. Sam made sure it came out just right! Hubby had a glass of fresh orange juice and two rellenos de papa (potato balls) -- and let me tell you, those were ! The food was soooo good -- seriously, the eggs were perfectly fluffy, even inside the sandwich . Just thinking about it now makes my mouth water! Later, I ordered a café bonbón but asked for the espresso to not be sweetened -- and it hit the spot perfectly. Smooth, rich, and bold . The only tiny hiccup was the whipped cream on the tres leches cake -- it had a bit of a chemical taste, which was a little off. But the cake itself was still solid! I really loved the palm trees and decor, which gave the place such a laid-back, tropical vibe. My only suggestion would be to maybe brighten it up just a bit -- it felt a little dark inside, so a touch more lighting or a fresh color palette could really enhance the atmosphere. I went between lunch and dinner on a weekday and it was pretty empty. Staff were friendly & smiling. I received quick service at the bar. The place is decorated so nice and definitely gives you coastal vibes. They have breakfast until 1130am and lunch until 3pm. They have a full bar and also serve milkshakes, juices, specialty sodas & coffees. I enjoyed a mojito that was $1 off as part of their Tuesday special. I wanted to try a few things so I ordered off their La Ventanita ("the little window") Menu. I loved my house made beef pastelito, papa rellena (very filling) & guava & cheese empanada. Walked in and wasn't sure if it would be good but we were pleased with the service and the food. No one else was there but more people showed up after a while. We had breakfast dishes, one was the breakfast bowl and the other was a breakfast sandwich with croquettes. The bowl had black beans, rice, eggs and ham that was completely satisfying and reminded me of home cooking right away. Definitely a great fuel up. The sandwich was better than expected as the croquettes were tasty and crunchy topping the highlights. Staff members were attentive and polite, providing great recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service and the ambiance was definitely contributing to the great stop there. We love Cuban food so this place is on the radar now when we are in the area. read more

Food was great, 3 people showed up to take our order, we guessed someone was in training. I ordered the Cuban chop chop, my Wife ordered the chicken soup special which was on the menu board for $14.95 as we came in the restaurant. Well they brought the soup out , with chicken chop chop, wrong. Cuban chop chop is made with pork. They then brought me my correct dish. The bill came and the price was not the same for the chicken soup. I told the waitress, she went and looked at the board came back saying the price was wrong on the board and we had to pay the price she bought us $15.95. $1:00 is no big deal but it was the principal. This is probably the best Cuban food I've had outside of South Florida or the Caribbean. Authentic and delicious. The Cuban sandwich was perfect. The ropa vieja was tender and juicy. And the chicken empanada was full of flavor. They have a homemade habanero sauce that was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend this place! read more

Stopped in here after a day of shopping, based on the Yelp reviews. It was a slow Monday. We got seated right away. Our waitress didn't speak much English, but we managed. We ordered ham and cheese empanadas for an appetizer and I think we got guava and cheese instead (never had it before). They were okay, but sweet instead of savory. We ordered two different chop chop menu items, one Cuban with stewed pork and one Picadillo with spiced beef. Both of these were fantastic, flavorful and unique, with plenty of your favorite Cuban flavors. It's a nice looking place, hidden away in a strip mall as so many are. Tonight on september 11th i became miami fusion grills first customer in lincolnton. They had a soft opening this week.And when I entered, they were about to close. I really only came in to get a take out menu.But the chef approach me and ask me if I wanted to order something, and I said, sure. Everyone was very nice and greeted me. They work there as I was the only customer in there that evening. They graciously made me something special as I wanted a low carb meal. As I was waiting for my food, I took a look. Around in this is a very nice place, very nicely.Decorated. This is definitely a family friendly place. This restaurant is going to have a lot of offerings as they will be serving breakfast as well. They also appear to be well stocked with various spirits, and they will even have frozen drinks. They packaged up my food and I took it home.And when I opened up the box, I was delighted. The food was delicious in the serving.Size was plentiful. I think this is exactly what the lincolton area needs as we already have twenty.Fast food places.
