Nice to note is that they have a seating area in the back of the spot, so it's nice that there is a dining in area. However, some heat in the back would be nice. The chicken tacos that I got were really good, cilantro and onions added, the sauces were a great touch to it, especially the orange looking one which was super spicy, something you'll love if you're a person that loves spice. I've noticed that they typically add it if you're sitting at the bar or during busier times, but I'm not sure if there's a clear rule on this. I get it - they work hard here and the servers don't want to get stiffed by folks who have had a few drinks. It's clearly stated on the receipt, so it's not like they're trying to hide the charges. Either way, make sure that you double check the first receipt that they give you when they bring the check, since the final receipt (the standard one where you sign and tip) isn't itemized. Don Tequila is a reliable neighborhood spot, with great food and drinks. There are ways around most of the things that other reviewers have complained about.
