06/25/25 update…read more Dinner tonight. Guisado is a dish that they do very well here. The restaurant was consistently busy with no tables being available on a couple of occasions. And to their credit, three people, including the owner/manager, were bussing tables as fast as possible. But consequently, it was hard to "flag" the waitress, and I only did so as she forgot me on two occasions. But I am a patient person...just hungry. COMMENTS: * A basket of chips and salsa (VERY GOOD) is $3. Profit margins are slim. They are worth paying for. * The AC was "barely" there. When it was in the upper 80s outside at 6 pm and cooler than it was inside, a HVAC mechanic was desperately needed. According to their Facebook page, this has been going on for a couple of weeks. It is either the landlord of a largely vacant strip mall (with a couple of anchors opening, which may help), causing the problem, or it is a triple-net lease, in which the restaurant is responsible for paying for the repairs. It's an expensive task. * Again, patient, but I wish that the waitress had checked more than twice - once to serve and once to refill a pop. Then, as the tables were still in some demand, "Let me cash you out..." It felt a bit like the "bum's rush." However, the food is good if you enjoy Tex-Mex cuisine. I will return - it may be at a different time of the day.

We really wanted to create a magical evening for us and our guests, and we knew that the Taco Truck of Clinton would be a perfect fit. From the very beginning, Faith was super responsive and helped us build the perfect menu for over 100 guests. They easily cater to guests with restricted diets as well. We had gluten-free, vegetarian and even some vegan options. We wanted a strolling dinner, and they agreed to serve directly from the truck from 5-8:30pm. On the day of, everything was fresh and served piping hot right out of the truck. While many of our guests were locals familiar with the deliciousness of the Taco Truck and were able to order their favorites, our out-of-town family and friends enjoyed every bite and when they visit will be asking where the truck is today and if we can grab dinner with them. The quesabirria was a huge hit and I'm sure people came back for more. There really wasn't any real noticeable line for any length of time. Faith, Jose & their crew are just the kindest people. They made sure everyone felt welcomed and you can taste all the love they cook with. They even helped to serve some of our older guests and would run food to the tables if needed. Dine in is available with excellent service. Manchester Diner is comfy, casual, moderately chill. Low energy for a relaxing diner. We ordered the chicken and cheese enchiladas, quesabirria tacos, side of sour cream and a nice huge very tasty horchata. Food was hot and very good. So glad we made it out here for dinner. I'm surprised that it's not busier for a Friday night but there do seem to be a lot of takeout orders and they are very efficient. Love it!
