The newest of the Taco Bell locations in Chico, this one is my favorite - my go-to. Food tends to come out quick, and it's very easy to place an order. I will say something positive about this Taco Bell, but first let me give some brutal truth -- it's the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to three times in a row. DO NOT order in the lobby at a kiosk... the entire staff doesn't know how to interact with humans. I've been to businesses where the customer service counter was literally run by people with "special needs" and they were more efficient, I'm not joking. Because I'm not an Evil Person, I don't wish for the staff or managers to get fired or the restaurant to be shut down, but for the Love of Fast Food Decency: be better! My positive pro tip: you'll have way better success going through the drive thru in your car. They may still mess something up, but it's very clear that the priority is window orders and not interacting with humans in the lobby. I just ordered one of their blended drinks at the kiosk today and it took over 10 minutes to get it and I had to speak to three different employees and everyone of them looked at me like I was speaking mandarin and trying to teach them advanced calculus. Service here is always bad. I came in one time for a mobile order and waited around for 45 minutes because nobody that worked there would acknowledge me. There was a big sign on the wall that said we will not give you a mobile order if you don't have a DoorDash bag. Ive never used DoorDash and never will. I made an order 10 minutes before arriving to hopefully insure my food would be ready when i arrived. Online my order said it was going to be ready at 12:34 it is now 12:50 and it hasn't even been started. They only focus on the drive thru. The entire lobby is full and no one has come to the counter to see if anyone else needs help. They also can't seem to manage their breaks right, i heard one employee complain about pushing 4 hours and still having to put off a break due to rush. Customer service is nonexistent this establishment employees will literally ignore you when you're standing at the counter, the employee making the orders was cussing out the other employees saying he would make the effing order how he effing wants to make it. Saw three door dasher leave because of employees, ignoring them, and not giving them the orders. This location is notorious to open and close lobby as they desire at any given time. Average wait time is minimum +25 minutes, and sometime it can go over +50 minutes. Often miss items, and loose order inside their own system making customer wait for +30 minutes for no reason. If you have limited meal-time due to work or other circumstances, this location will make you wait any day, anytime. Good luck. read more

It used to be the only Taco Bell in Chico I would go to because the line is rarely ridiculously stupid, the customer service is always friendly, but the problem is they aren't open during their listed business hours. I went tonight at least an hour and a 1/2 before they're closing time that's listed on their website and I've been there twice before when it shows they were open and they were closed both the lobby and the drive-through. No joke, I watched a lady who looked like the manager walk in blowing out a hefty amount of vape smoke. Aside from that, every time I've ordered from here there's at least 2 items missing. That's is if the order is even yours in the first place, if it got stolen before you picked it up, or if they put the right items in your bag (with your name on it). Taco Bell has never claimed to be a five star restaurant and I don't think anyone has ever thought of it as such ... but one would espect a restaurant to at least try to keep up an image ... Taco Bell has dropped some of its most-liked entrees in the last few months, the Mexican pizza (my wife's favorite) and Enchirito (my favorite) among them ... we tried TB again a couple days ago, having a "hankering" for burritos without having to go to a "real" Mexican restaurant ... now they've dropped the amazing Combo Burrito so you have to ask for a bean burrito, add beef, as if it's not basically the same thing - and it isn't ... the Combo Burrito of the past had taste, with real beans instead of a bean puree - and it was larger by at least a third ... these burritos are wimpy and runny ... my wife had a Crunch Wrap Supreme, no sour cream, and the "beef" in it looked like the thinnest line I've ever seen above a large sediment of lettuce, which comprised 90% of the filling ... and, I've always ordered Pintos and Cheese, for thirty plus years with every order ... you can't fool a real Pintos and Cheese guy but Taco Bell pulled a fast one - the little bowl is even smaller, with a pushed-up, hexagonal-shaped bottom, both obviously designed to give you less product (see attached pic) ... now, I'm pretty laid back, being from The Big Easy area, and was ready to cut Taco Bell a little slack, but my Orange County wife went off on a tangent, saying "we're NEVER, EVER, ordering from Taco Bell again - I'm done !!" ... and, in the words of Porky Pig, I reckon "That's All Folks" ... see ya, Taco Bell ... read more

Today I decided to get my boyfriend Taco Bell when he was on break at work. I showed up to this Taco Bell 10 minutes before his break even started and they didn't have our food ready for 35 plus minutes. They had side conversations going on, some staff members were on their phones and even with all the time we gave them to make our order they still messed up. No one seemed to care that they had people waiting for 30 plus minutes and this is unacceptable. The workers were not friendly by any means and they had the lobby covered in trash while i was sitting and waiting. I have never been to such a bad Taco Bell and i am very disappointed. I especially wish they got my order correct due to the fact that they had at least 9 employees "working" behind the counter. read more

Just ordered a bunch of VEGETARIAN stuff which they charged me extra for guacamole and picas ... came home to find out that (1) they didn't add the extras I requested (2) there was chicken in EVERYTHING!! If I specifically say, IM A VEGETARIAN, I want my food not to have meat in it!!!
