I've been reading over all of the other reviews and honestly you all sound like whiny children who only care about themselves. Try bringing your empathy along with you next time. No respect for the poor employees who are significantly underpaid and understaffed I don't blame the workers for slacking off or overall not caring. They simply don't get paid enough. I don't have to have worked there to know that. I've never had a problem with this location. They've always gotten my order right and the employees have always been friendly. I try not to frequent Taco Bell anymore bevause the employees always seem overrun by customers and I don't want to contribute to employee stress. Corporate needs to do better. read more

Really a depressing place. I've been in and out of this restaurant for the past two years as a driver and I truly can't say which is worse the product or customer service. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I usually dread having to go to this Taco Bell location due to consistently poor service. Tonight was the worst experience I've ever had in fast food service. I walked through the door to see a kid grabbing all of the bags for pre-prepared food just sitting on the cashier's counter. A worker chased him down to retrieve our food. When we told her the food he took was ours, she handed it over. The kid also ended up taking our drinks.. and when I told her she ended up replacing our taken drinks. Unfortunately the employee was "not allowed" to replace the passion fruit flavor drink, and I had to get a different drink than the one I ordered online 40min ahead of time. Not to mention I had to request her presence about the drink situation while she was applying burn gel in the middle of the kitchen. Had anyone actually been wearing gloves while preparing the food, the chances of getting burned would've been lessened. When I went to get sauce all of the containers were completely empty, and I had to request assistance AGAIN. Don't waste your time or money at this particular establishment. This taco bell experience absolutely changed my life. we were met by Ryan and another woman, i didn't catch her name but i can only refer to her as a Queen. Me and my roommates had a HORRIBLE day and the only thing to make it better was a taco bell cheesy Gordita crunch with extra cheese. and let me tell you that is what we got and more. Ryan was so welcoming, kind, funny, charming, admirable, vegan, honestly just a great looking dude. He and his coworker are a breath of fresh air in the crazy covid filled fast food industry. I will 100% be returning if not for another cheesy gordita crunch than to visit with my new bff. read more

Teresa is the worst manager I have ever seen. She is rude, unprofessional, acts like a teenager along with half the employees there. They can't get an order right even when you say it to them 3 times. Teresa is unapologetic, rude, and does not take her job seriously. Maybe she should try working somewhere that isn't based on customer service. When I asked for a manager her and all the employees ran back and hid because they were yelling at me for asking for more sauce because she LITERALLY put ONE in my bag when I asked. This location is by far the worst in Chico. Management has no control over the crew dicking off in the background instead of making the orders. If there was such a thing as no stars, it would get zero. Such simple tasks and they still can't cook their rice properly every time I order. This is my favorite Taco Bell in Chico, and the newest. Friendly service, large open dining area, clean for a fast food restaurant and of course cheap. The drive through however can be awkward when there's a lot of people in line. If someone is ordering there really is only room for one more car behind them. Lots of space to park tho and in the summer quite a bit of shade to park under if you have a dog and want to run in and eat. read more

This location made it right for us after going to the other Taco Bell on 20th. We went to that location 3 times in one month and it was during their Happy Hour-they were not serving the freezes we ordered do to the machine not working. Super frustrating! I called the District Manager Debbie and she explained the Machine was in need of a new part. She apologized about the ordeal and comp'ed a meal for us at the East Ave location. Melissa is the main manager at this location and was very accommodating to us when we dined there on 5-18-14. Food and service was good. First time I tried the Cantina Burrito & have to say it's pretty good! Patrons at both locations are not people we would like to dine with, but the cost and locations/ you can't do anything about. Two young men were here when we were eating our meal with our children and fowl language / rude behavior we had to endure. Food tastes like good old reliable Taco Bell. The two star rating is because every item in our families meal was the most sloppily prepared food I've ever had. We had three burritos, a crunch wrap, and two tacos. Every thing was falling apart! The crush wrap didn't even have all the pieces folded over. Our expectations are always low but this Taco Bell is closest to our house. We are currently in a 10 car line at the other Taco Bell after driving through the drive thru at 11:00pm and getting an automated "we are closed message". Their hours say "open until 1am" and they are. We called the "closed" Taco Bell several times to no answer. Finally, after we are already at the other Taco Bell deep into the line they pick up. "Oh well we are open, we had to send 2 people on break and the 1 person couldn't run the place alone so we had to close". Now we are trapped at the other Taco Bell when we could have much more quickly gotten our order at the "closed" location. I'm glad that 3 people effectively all went on break at the same time and couldn't be bothered to tell us that they would reopen shortly. Not only did they lose our business but I hope upper management sees this review and reprimands the employees. Who authorized the closing of the store? Why couldn't they go on break at separate times? Were they even on a scheduled break or were they slow and they thought no one would catch them? This is only one of many bad experiences here. Went to this Taco Bell last night after seeing commercials for the resurgence of the $1 Double stuffed tacos... Well we ordered a dozen total 4 of each flavor. Get to the check out and they told us 16.68. Well it should have been 12 plus tax... Then they say that the $1 special is not honored at their place they are 1.38 each.... Then when I looked at the receipt they were preparing a dozen Nacho Crunch DST...
