Ordering half an hour ahead for pickup at a specific time and still having to wait 20 minutes once arriving is asinine.

My husband and I came to this establishment last week to get dinner. He got a grilled cheese burrito and taco, and I got a a lux box. As we were enjoying our meal my husband took a bite and complained that the steak in his burrito was cold. Unsatisfied he brought the burrito up to the counter asking for a new one, the employee working at the counter told my husband he was wrong and that they would fix it this time, but most likely not the next. As someone who works at a restaurant if a customer comes to you saying that their food was not cooked properly, no questions asked it should be remade. Then today we go back to get just a pack on cinnabon delights. As we eat our food I take a bite and the whole inside of the bite is frozen. this is second this restaurant has messed up our order . today i put an online order in for two cravings boxes and went to pick it up after already paying for it online. Went to pick it up not only did they not have the correct order I had to order extra food because it the order they had wasn't enough food for us. We tried calling customer service and getting a refund and they told us we had to wait two days before we could get a refund . read more

I am a dyed in the wool Taco Bell fan. When I am hungry - I know I can always get a great meal - and not spend a lot. Never been to a Taco Bell I haven't liked and this is no exception. It is recently remodeled and therefore cute. I tend towards the more vegetarian items (read "I love beans") and this seems safe always. And I love the 7 layer burritos. But, I do stray into the meat region. Crunch wraps and nachos make me happy. I am not a fan of the breakfast menu. In the old days, Taco Bell made an awesome bacon quesadilla - bring it back. Maybe I should try asking for it! At this location - I have made many special requests and they always let me customize my orders. Makes me happy! read more

I ordered 3 grilled chicken tacos last night, I repeated three times I wanted grilled chicken instead of the shredded chicken, the employee repeated my order correctly. To my surprise when I arrived home 8 miles later and opened my tacos and I received shredded chicken and nothing else, no cheese, no lettuce, just shredded chicken. The pride and care is lacking here lately. As a local, we swing by here fairly frequently. We've noticed that their burritos have clumps of the ingredients in separate areas, such as you get all cheese sauce the first bite, the next bite all egg and the last part is clumps of sausage. Is it not possible to arrange the ingredients to a better mix? in addition, this morning we stopped and ordered 3 breakfast burritos. Two with eggs and sausage and one with fiesta potato, to go. We had already left when we noticed that we received one sausage burrito and one bowl of hash browns with cheese sauce and sour cream on top! I don't know if high school kids are running the place now or what Since one employee exited the building and almost ran over us in the parking lot as he sped off to ?high school maybe? This isn't really a review of this particular Taco Bell - it's fine as far as Taco Bells go - it's really a review of their new "Cantina Style" tacos.Here in Grand Junction I think El Tapatio makes a really high quality taco, I just think at three dollars each they're a little expensive. Taco Bell's new tacos are cheap, they start at $1.50 each and go down in price if you order more than one. I ordered two carnitas tacos and it came out to $2.79 plus tax. They were made right before my eyes and wrapped in foil, just like roach coach tacos. Nice touch. The first thing that struck me is that there's something odd about the corn tortillas they're using. You can tell they're corn tortillas, but they don't taste like any corn tortilla I've ever eaten. They have a very bland almost doughy quality to them. The filling was better than the wrapper but not great. The three main flavors - pork, onion and cilantro - were muted and didn't taste fresh. I was also disappointed that TB didn't debut their new version of taco sauce in a to-go packet. I guess they're meeting a price point by keeping the amount of filling on the low side. Real cantina style tacos are bursting with filling allowing you to make two tacos from one order by splitting the filling between the two tortillas. I did something similar with my Taco Bell tacos, I simply didn't eat the second tortilla, which is something I recommend to everybody. You can't fault Taco Bell for jumping on the street food fad, I just think freshness is so important in simple dishes like this that their corporate, semi-truck delivered version can't hope to compete with the real thing. But if you ask for extra sauce - they can add it when they're assembling it - and trash the bottom tortilla you have a decent little $1.50 snack if you can't find the real thing nearby. I can see going for a sack of these when stuck on the Interstate. Especially if they could squeeze some decent taco sauce into those packets that are so popular with the TB crowd. read more

This is the best Taco Bell location I have ever been to. It seems like others share the same opinion, as it was pretty full the two times I've been there. The staff was super nice, the food was well sauced, and the sauce packets were plentiful. Some of the staff even came to our table and asked us how our meal was and if we needed anything! Went through the drive-through late at night, got food quick and it was pretty good but the quesadilla didn't seem as fresh and the other things I got. Taco Bell can be hit and miss anyway, but overall this location wasn't bad. read more
