Pulled up the the drive through, guy mumbled something then sat for 15 minutes. After he took our order we pulled around and saw no cars in the drive through. I was looking at the driveway or the road for a sign cars just left.... nothing. We went to pay him with a card he said "I said exact change" we were very confused. So we showed him a $20 and he said yeah and gave us change back. What he meant to say was cash only. You lost a lot of Business due to this error. I need to just stop going here, because I'm always let down. I am a huge Taco Bell fan, and I've never had an issue at any location until I moved to Dubuque. This location (actually both Dubuque locations) is always randomly closing early, always out of food, always out of change, always messing up orders, and has extremely rude employees. I don't know if it's a lack of training or what.. but the employees are always rude. I understand that times are difficult during this pandemic, but tons of other fast food places have managed to still provide quality service and products. Taco bell is pretty good, but this review is for the drinks. They have mango brisk tea here and yes flavored tea can draw me in. I haven't seen it anywhere else, so this is the one I hit up when I am in town. Clean place with good service, this taco bell is a good one with awesome drinks. read more

One of THE WORST experiences in my life!! If I didn't have to rate with a star to post this, they wouldn't get one! I have never, in my entire life, had such horrible service and seen such poor attitudes in any place I've been! A group of us went after the Skillet concert in Platteville, WI tonight and the staff was unbelievably awful! The dining room was so dirty and there were bugs on the table, they claimed they were out of hard shell tacos and yet we saw them making some. One couple in our party ordered sour cream and didn't get it even though they were charged for it and no one would get it for them! When the "manager" finally showed his face, he said "calm down and wait"...even though their food was getting cold. Another order of the same was made for one of the others in the group and they were double charged for their sour cream. Mind you, we waited 20 minutes in the first place and there were only 2 other tables in there. I went up to the counter to ask about the price discrepancy and they refused to acknowledge me. I asked twice to speak to someone and they just glared at me. I waited 8 minutes at the counter and no one would come over so we began turning their business away for them. When someone finally came to the counter, he was extremely rude and called me a liar and walked away. "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back" hangs on a sign in the restaurant but no one cares there! We go out of our way to go to this Taco Bell over the one on Hillcrest because this one rocks. Customer service is always above and beyond , especially for fast food, and the restaurant is clean. This Taco Bell is close to home so I tend to stop by more frequently but have never gotten good service here. Will start to go out of my way to go to the other Taco Bell in town. The workers are always short and rude when they speak with you, talking to coworkers in the background rather than paying attention to the customer, and the food is rarely correct. Tonight my food was cold and wrong and the worker was more focused on talking to people in the kitchen while I waited in the cold for my food. We stopped here with a bus full of very hungry middle school students. When we walked in and filled the hallway outside the restrooms, there was a single woman and another woman with her child waiting in line to order. There was one lady basically laying across the counter. We assumed she was waiting for her completed order. There was 1 family of 4 seated, already eating (there was 1 car in the drive-thru). We waited for (not kidding) 10 minutes before one lady in the back came to the register and hollered to the man in the back that she was going to take 5 orders. She didn't greet this customer. She just waited until she spoke to take her order. After that transaction was complete, she went back to help in the other man (she had taken ONE order). The family that was already seated hadn't received their fries (she said they waited 30 minutes for their food, and they were the ONLY ones in there at that time). The woman and her daughter in front of us decided to give up and walked out. At this point, I addressed the students and explained that it was likely going to be more than an HOUR before we would even get our food. They were disappointed, but agreed we should move on. We will NEVER go back to this location (although we do love the Taco Bell in Platteville, WI). Frankly, I'm surprised they're still in business. read more
