Great taco bell, the customer service here was so friendly! Food was well made. Such a positive experience for fast food. Oh yeah and the food was really fast!

    Where's the steak?

Still sitting here waiting to pull up to the drive through speaker. Going on 20 minutes. Thought about ordering from Grubhub and decided "let's just go pick it up, it'll be quicker" I mean cmon now. Brand new location, this is just a bit ridiculous. Can't even turn around to leave. I don't know how to post a new review. But I just went through the drive thru again. Ordered a power menu burrito, but they don't serve it after a certain time of night - understandable. Asked them what was comparable, and they said a 7 layer burrito. I said "perfect. I'll take that with steak, and 2 chicken chalupas" I ended up getting a cold burrito with a bunch of slop, and the chalupas were halfway decent. They both had steak, but I ordered them with chicken. I recently left a review and was sent a $20 gift card. Not one mention of what they were going to do to improve service. Bottom line is - if McDonald's was open I would have went there instead. How is Taco Bell even still in business? It's just awful. That's all I have to say.

Took a bite to find this jem in my burrito

Yeah if you want a half melted freeze drink and plastic in your food this is the place for you

    Very bad Crunchwrap Supreme

I've been hesitant to go back to this location because of my previous bad experiences and some things I've heard from others but I'm happy that I gave it another try! My Crunchwrap was very much improved! I'm glad I don't have to drive all the way to Penfield anymore to get a good Crunchwrap!!

OLD potatoes, OLD tortilla. Minus the red tortilla strips that were added on, but not included.

First off, I want to give a huge shout-out to the staff. The service was truly great--super friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy it was during the festival. We really appreciated how welcoming they were. However, we found the food to be a bit of a culture shock for our palates. We understand there are regional differences, and for us, this was very different from the Mexican food we're used to. The tacos were served on flour tortillas that, since they weren't freshly made, could have really benefited from being heated or toasted on the grill to give them a better texture and taste. The biggest surprise for us was the filling. We've learned that "beef" on the East Coast often means ground beef, which was very odd for us in a taco, as we were expecting carne asada. It brought back memories of childhood taco nights rather than the street tacos we know and love. The salsa was just okay; for us, it was really missing that punch of salt and a fresh squeeze of lime juice that makes a salsa pop. Overall, the people were wonderful, but the food just didn't quite hit the mark for our West Coast tastes. If you're not used to SoCal-style Mexican food, you might enjoy this more than we did. For us, it was a reminder that we're a long way from San Diego!

The food was good too- I got a pork belly taco and my mom got a crispy taco. My only feedback is that the food took a really, really long time to come out. While every restaurant has its own style, quality ingredients and careful preparation are what make great Mexican food. Unfortunately, despite its exceptional location on the Erie Canal in the charming village of Fairport, NY, this restaurant fell well short of those expectations. The queso fundido appeared to be made with inexpensive processed cheeses, which resulted in an overly oily dish. The chorizo quesadilla was disappointing as well. The chorizo tasted like a low-quality, filler-heavy product with an artificial heat rather than the rich, well-seasoned flavor you'd expect. The tacos were average but didn't stand out in any way. Service was friendly throughout the evening, but our server wasn't very familiar with the menu and couldn't answer several questions about the dishes. Despite having a reservation, the meal took nearly two hours from start to finish. Our bill came to about $60 for two adults with no alcohol, and based on the overall experience, it didn't represent a good value. The restaurant's greatest asset is unquestionably its location. Sitting along the Erie Canal is a wonderful experience, and Fairport is one of the most charming villages in the Rochester area. I genuinely hope the kitchen elevates the quality of the food to match such an exceptional setting.

We decided on Bickering Twins, because can you go wrong with Mexican food and a margarita? Luckily we had no wait on a Friday evening at about 7pm. I was worried that since not many people were there it was a bad sign, but that was not the case. We were seated at a nice, sort of private high-top table near the door, which made it feel like we had privacy and our own little space. We ordered drinks, and I wimped out and went with a paloma instead of the tamarind maragarita. The paloma was great, but I'm still wondering whether I shouldn't have risked it. Our group of three decided to get chips & salsa (because why wouldn't you), and then we ordered three dishes to share. Our choices were as follows: Peruvian Ceviche, Birria Quesadilla and Chicken Enchiladas. First of all, the fact that they had ceviche and it was good just hands down made my day. It was good - I only wish there had been some corn kernels served with it. The birria quesadillas weren't what we had expected, but they were very flavorful and the juice was tasty. I Really enjoyed the enchiladas for the mix of flavors and textures. There were so many vegetables with our dishes and the sides of rice and beans were more than filling. My only complaint is that the rice was too much of a yellow rice - I prefer a white rice, but that's just personal preference. Even though we kept the menu at the table anticipating that we would want to order more, we ultimately were stuffed and the portions (while they looked small were actually quite filling!). Jose our server was kind and friendly. I would definitely come back as there are a variety of other meals I would try, and they have flights of Mezcal and Tequila that looked tempting. After a long hard day of hiking, this fabulous meal made the day. We returned to our hotel with sore legs, but our bellies full!

We ordered the ceviche as an appetizer which was nice and limey- perhaps too many onions and rather large pieces. We also tried the popstar cocktail which was good- quite strong. For mains we ordered the taco plate with shrimp, chicken tinga, and lengua, plantains and potatoes. I liked the chicken and shrimp tacos the best. The carnitas platter was also very good! I thought that parts of the pork were a tad on the dry side but this is quickly remedied by pairing it with the beans and guac. Now, the star of the show and the reason this review has 4 stars and not 3 is the chipotle chocolate cake. I was expecting the chipotle/pepper flavor to be completely overpowered by the chocolate cake. However, the peppery taste came through! It wasn't spicy per se but it had a very mild kick but was just noticeable enough. The texture of the cake was also great- not your typical flourless chocolate cake, more custardy and creamy almost. Overall, would recommend! Food was solid- I thought the tacos and ceviche were better than the carnitas platter. The cake was the star of the show!

Here, the food is never prepared in an overly curated-for-Instagram-but-empty-inside kind of way, but rather with a focus on simple ingredients prepared with care in a slow-food way that emphasizes their deep, rich flavor. My favorite is the Al pastor taco with pineapple, a combo of guacamole and chipotle salsas, with fried cheese added on top of the diced onions and cilantro. To die for!! And still only $5 each. This afternoon, after eating literally hundreds of their tacos over the last few years, I tried their smash burger. Absolutely outstanding! Might be the best burger in town as well, it's honestly that good. And only $10! A few weeks ago I had a burger from a local restaurant for $20, which seems to be the going rate, and it paled in comparison to their oh!-so-tasty-you-can't-stop-licking-your-fingers burger! And if you ask, they'll customize it for you with a fried egg, or in my case, with lots of extra fried onions. Their torta sandwiches have also garnered a cult following due to their packed ingredients and massive size, still just for $14. If you're lucky, in the warmer months Eduardo might be serving some of his delicious aqua frescas, or even better, some of his incredible lemonade beverages. Sooooo refreshing! The bonus: you get to hang out with these cool and friendly guys Eduardo & Carlos, as well as their friendly staff who work so hard to make your food so delicious.
