Walked in and there were already a couple of tables there. Including one large party of people, celebrating a birthday maybe? The chips and salsa that came to the table were wonderful. We could tell the chips were homemade as was the salsa. I ordered the Tostada de Pollo, and my husband had the chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans. The Tostadas were very flavorful, perfectly crunchy and covered with tasty bits of including avacado and cheese. The Tacos, beans and rice were also very good. We look forward to returning. One thing, understandably, we were the only table speaking English. Our wait person had no problem talking with us and he did a great job, He was mostly alone in the 'front of the house' so he was running. Just to emphasis, don't be intimidated if your Spanish isn't very strong, the menu has English translations. One last thing- if you need reading glasses, make certain you have them with you... the menu is lovely, but a little tricky to read the text printed over the graphic.

Then came the al pastor tacos. These were absolutely delicious. The pork was wonderfully marinated, and the toppings added to the entire taco rather than overpower the pork. We also opted in for the shrimp tacos, which were also quite delicious. Ordering a couple of empanadas, one steak and one al pastor, these were phenomenal. Taking a bite of each, you can identify everything inside these perfectly fried parcels. Very very good. I can confidentially say, this is the best Mexican food I've ever eaten and easily beats any of our Mexican restaurants here in Rochester. But a fair warning to future patrons. Don't expect to walk in and expect a full-service restaurant. Waiting times can be a little longer than expected as well. But the upside is receiving delicious, made-to-order food made with love and care. We'd make the trip to Sodus just to revisit this restaurant.
