We've been quite a few times now since moving to the area and it's a great spot. I love seeing the same staff members and they usually remember us ENORMOUS margaritas are the only size the offer so we usually split one! Love the soup so much, although pretty pricey. We paid $11 today which is pretty steep, but everything is nowadays. Comfortable atmosphere with a nice selection.

My first visit here. Nice music playing. Polite young server. Menu comparable to other ones I have visited. Plates were hot. Maybe a bit too hot for people. Food was not as hot as plates. I would prefer hot food warm plate. Appearance was nice. Rice nice yellow, very bright. I had a burrito. Just enough with rice and beans. I ordered Caso cheese. It came very hot but a little watery. I still give it 5 stars because they had no problem accomadating me and my company. Very clean. And the ramp was a big influencer. There is a lip to get over and at no fault of theres I had to walk down the street to get the wheel chair on the side walk. So if you want handicap accessible park where the side walk ramps are and walk from there :(. Taste was good and they had Tapatio!

Chimichangas - one beef, one chicken topped with cheese dip. Served with rice, beans, sour cream and guacamole salad.

Four of us had dinner at Casa Mexicana in Marion, NY on their opening night, November 29, 2021. The food was beyond our expectations and the servers were very attentive to our wishes. Each of us tried something different. There is even a children's menu so one person was able to have a hamburger and fries. I had the Molcajete served in a lava bowl which included grilled chicken, steak, shrimp and chorizo mixed with vegetables, topped with shredded cheese. You can see a photo of the lava bowl filled to the brim. I had a nice portion to take home. We returned on December 8th with two other friends, and again, we were all very pleased with our three different choices. I repeated the Molcajete. On December 10th, nine of us had dinner and tried about seven new items on the menu. I have submitted additional photos to help you appreciate the food that is available in Marion/Palmyra area. Their hours are Tues. - Sat. 11AM to 9PM, Sun. Noon to 8PM. Phone: 315-310-7042 for take out. Rita Goebert

Chori pollo is the meal I chose. I will return again and again.

Awesome, home made, authentic Mexican food. Steak tacos are my favorite. Reasonable prices. Margarita is the best around. Highly recommend!

We started with the chips and salsa, which were fresh and the perfect way to kick off the meal. The birria fries were easily a favorite--loaded with tender, flavorful birria, melted cheese, and all the right toppings. They were indulgent and definitely worth ordering. The shrimp tacos were fresh and flavorful, while the al pastor tacos were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that classic sweet and savory flavor that makes al pastor so good. We also ordered the elote, which was creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Between the generous portions, authentic flavors, and great service, Neno's is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. If you're in Rochester and craving Mexican food, don't skip the birria fries and tacos--you won't be disappointed!

What an incredible experience…read more This restaurant gives meaning to the saying, "never judge a book from its cover." The reason I say that is, it's unassuming from the outside. Connected to an auto repair shop to the left and liquor store on the right. Arriving, we saw only a handful of tables that weren't cleared off from past customers. We waited by the front door not realizing you order from the window which is hidden in the corner. We were greeted by a friendly young lady and after we placed in our orders, we sat ourselves and waited for our food to arrive. The first thing to arrive was the guacamole with chips. We found the guacamole to be less chunky as we'd like, but nevertheless it was pleasant. The chips were overly salted in our opinion but did not take away from the dish. Then came the al pastor tacos. These were absolutely delicious. The pork was wonderfully marinated, and the toppings added to the entire taco rather than overpower the pork. We also opted in for the shrimp tacos, which were also quite delicious. Ordering a couple of empanadas, one steak and one al pastor, these were phenomenal. Taking a bite of each, you can identify everything inside these perfectly fried parcels. Very very good. I can confidentially say, this is the best Mexican food I've ever eaten and easily beats any of our Mexican restaurants here in Rochester. But a fair warning to future patrons. Don't expect to walk in and expect a full-service restaurant. Waiting times can be a little longer than expected as well. But the upside is receiving delicious, made-to-order food made with love and care. We'd make the trip to Sodus just to revisit this restaurant.

Totally worth a drive out to Medina for some tacos or a torta. It's a beautiful drive from Buffalo…read moreinto Medina and you should go through the Iroquois nature preserve on the drive. The taco truck is open Friday Saturday and Sunday and there are several socially distanced picnic tables outside, some with umbrellas and some without. It was a nice day so we sat in the sun. My diablas torta (chorizo & carne asada) was delicious with slices of avocado, onion, lettuce and peppers. Unlike most tortas I've had they were light with the mayo which is appreciated when you're having something as decadent as chorizo and steak. The bread was amazing and fresh as well. Great sandwich. The bf has lengua, carnitas and diabla tacos and enjoyed them all. We had horchata and Jamaica to drink. The Jamaica was not too sweet which was nice. The horchata was very good. My biggest problem with the aguas frescas set up was the multitude of yellow jackets attacking the drink dispensers which were set up for self service. I had wanted limonada but the bees were particularly interested in the dispenser for that one. We also checked out the store next door and picked up a packet of hot homemade tamales (also delicious) as well as some chorizo, hot sauce and drinks. Highly recommended weekend trip.
