I get it's a Taco Bell, so expectations shouldn't be tempered, they should be non-existent. But at the bare minimum you should be able to order your food, get your order in less time than it takes to watch an episode of Law and Order, and then when you get home the order should at least 75% correct. Sadly, this particular location failed on all three tests. Time from arriving in drive thru lane to ordering? 19 minutes Time from placing order to receiving order? 42 minutes Percentage of order correct? 30 But I would like to compliment the nice young woman who answered the phone when I called I'm kidding - she hung up the second I asked for the corporate number. I expected a typical Taco Bell experience, but it was less than expected. While there was almost no one in the restaurant there was a long wait to order our food. We stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone came up to help us. The cashier was friendly enough so she made up for the wait. We ordered and it didn't take too long to get our food. I ordered the veggie Power Bowl which was good, and my husband the bean burrito which he said was good. My hotel was across the road from this Taco Bell and I had a craving for Chalupas. Decided to go through the drive-thru to make it easier for me. The girl who took my order was nice and sounded friendly. Paid, and received my order. Came back to the hotel and all I got was a little bit of filling in my two soft tacos and my chalupa. I was still hungry afterwards because it just wasn't enough. The taco grease juices were seeping through the wrapper which is pretty disgusting. If I wasn't so hungry, this would not be appetizing. You can't trust the google times online because although it says it's open late at night if you pull up at 9:30 pm it will have a piece of paper handwritten saying it's closed. So we pulled around to the front and looked inside...we saw a heavy set woman HIDING from us!!! She saw us and quickly hid behind a wall. This Taco Bell is genuinely the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of going to. I live nearby and typically don't get off of work until 11, so I've stopped by occasionally. They claim to be open until 3 am but the past four times I've gone they have had one excuse after another. Excuses include: random system update that will take 20-30 minutes to complete (no ordering allowed at 11 pm), not being able to accept cash, not being able to accept debit or credit cards, not having taco shells (and other miscellaneous staple items). One night my boyfriend left, got cash and placed his order. When we got home we discovered that they had put what had to have been fire sauce on every single item that we had ordered. I'm a guest service supervisor at a nearby hotel and I genuinely can't understand how/if this place even makes any money past 11 o'clock when the employees literally choose to close it down. Judging by other reviews, it's clearly something that they do to everyone. Last night I watched the two cars in front of me leave because their excuse of the night was that their system was "down". The employees are rude and lazy. Last night I told them that I would speak with a manager in the morning and the disgruntled employee I was speaking with through the intercom claimed to be a manager. She is the one that claims to be closed early every night. Every person at this location needs to either find a job elsewhere or receive thorough training (both operationally and service-wise). We were given a water cup instead. We then got drinks and noticed we couldn't find straws, asked for straws, and were then informed they didn't have straws. Once we got our food, we were looking for hot sauce. We asked for hot sauce and were then informed they were out of hot sauce. I usually love to go to Taco Bell, however, this time was not so great. My boyfriend and I came here and ordered quesadillas and grillers. I ordered a doubledilla chicken and my boyfriend ordered just a regular quesadilla but without the creamy jalapeño sauce. We had also ordered a beefy nacho griller and he ordered a chipotle chicken griller but without the chipotle sauce, notice he doesn't like any spicy sauce. When we got home I noticed there was no box, where the doubledilla is supposed to go to and also where the chips and salsa would go and that didn't come with it. I was automatically upset about this. My boyfriends quesadilla barely contained any chicken in it and so did mine. Both of our quesadillas contained bits and pieces of lettuce and tomato which we all know the quesadillas don't come with that unless you ask for it. Reading the other reviews as well as my own, I would not recommend here. I luckily did not get a hair, but my second quesadilla was not cooked right and the food was subpar even for fast food. The main cashier seemed lethargic. The only solace was the amazing cook who made my food (badly, but still), who seemed to love his job and serving.
