I bought the bacon cheese dog and didn't get no bacon or cheese. what a waste of money

One table clean at 1 pm on a Wednesday. We were waiting on a service appointment at Apple, so needed a quick lunch. Every single surface was sticky. Totally jacked toppings for 2 burgers, credit card didn't work twice before putting in a tip. Fries were soggy. I've eaten probably 200 times at five guys in other states and Cape Coral. Totally shit experience

    uncooked Bacon Cheeseburger

Five guys has always been the "go to" burger place for me. Though this time around I was disappointed. I completely understand there is a natural disaster upon us but I didn't expect my burger to be barely cooked. Not only was mine and my boyfriends burgers undercooked, they also forgot my bacon on the BACON CHEESEBURGER. I uploaded a photo for you to see as well. Personally I like my burgers medium/ well done, which is my preference. But I literally had to cook my own burger when I got home because of how uncooked it was. I hope as Florida gets situated they will too.

Time for Little Bacon Cheeseburger. Not like your other fast food burger made by the Clown or King. These burgers have a more meaty with more choices to put on your tasty burgers. I added mushrooms and onions to mine! The fries were plenty and less greasy to what you get at the other places. I love that they keep the skins on! You may have to wait a bit for the orders to be done, but certainly worth the taste!

Clean and spacious burger joint at Coconut Point. The large bacon cheeseburger with everything is pretty big as burgers go. Might try it without the mushrooms next time to see if the burger is less `drippy` Freshly cooked and heat hot, especially the fries. Friendly staff on the till.

This patty looks sad it's not pretty it's ugly looks like someone stomped on it the meat was cut in half like really wtf

They have good burgers and fries, fast and convenient. It's pricey, but most everything is nowadays, so that's not a knock on them.

Management of this restaurant is awful, waited 45 minutes for a simple burger and fries. Bonita Springs store is so much better and faster.

First, the food was great. We tried the mushroom burger, the smash burger, and a quinoa bowl, and everything was really good. The burgers were flavorful and satisfying, and the quinoa bowl made us feel like we were making at least one responsible life choice that day. But the real star of the show was the self-serve beer tap wall. They give you a wristband, you tap it on the machine, and pour whatever beer you want. Then you just pay for exactly how much you pour. Which sounds responsible... until you realize you can try a little bit of everything. We ended up sampling several different beers because it was just too fun not to. Tons of variety, and everything we tried was excellent. The only suggestion I'd have: it would be amazing if there was a small tasting station so people could try. When there are that many options, choosing can feel like a very serious life decision. Overall though, great food, a really fun concept, and a cool atmosphere. 10/10 would absolutely come back... mostly to "responsibly" test more beers.

The cooking smells are awesome !! The Bartender was friendly as we sat down at the bar. She brought us a small dish of brined pickles (which are refreshing & the BEST !! ) I ordered a glass of wine & my favorite for a Saturday, the Bison short rib with mashed potatoes & carrots. Tender, delicious and the carrots were firm with a nice buttery flavor. My husband ordered the Bison meatloaf.... Which was very moist & flavorful. NO added salt needed for it was seasoned perfectly. We don't live near Estero, and the other location is in Jacksonville.... would love to stop in more often... but I guess an occasional stop will have to do. YES.....highly recommended.

But a couple of things were so odd that I must give an update ... and that also means downgrading our experience to three stars. Hopefully management will see this review. It was a post-Christmas Monday, and we did not have reservations. That seemed fine as it was quite empty when we arrived. Had a long wait to be seated and then it was a booth way at the back of the room. I wish we would have said something. In hindsight, we were probably seated there due to available servers and convenience of later parties who were seated towards the front as the restaurant filled up. But it was more walking than DH needed. DH enjoyed his bison bacon cheeseburger. Very messy, but very tasty. (Bison is the one reason we keep coming back to Ted's.) His first choice on draft beer was not available so he settled for the Sam Adam's Cold Snap. With dessert in mind, I had a cup of the bison chili. Better than expected. I had a chopped salad ... side salad size. Many ingredients but odd proportions. Several items seemed like an afterthought. The one item that I wish had been an afterthought was the red onion. Overpowering in flavor ... almost the only thing I could taste. There was also an odd triangle of toast with the salad. Very little flavor. My memory may be faulty, but I seem to remember Ted's use to have biscuits or cornbread. Even a small biscuit or bit of cornbread would have been preferable. I was happy with my Malbec wine. Perhaps not the best choice for the salad, but very good with the chili. On to dessert ... I always look forward to the seasonal apple pecan crisp. Our server Ed said it would take ten minutes to prepare. No problem. I knew it was a very large portion and expected to ask for a takeout box. With that in mind, I asked for the ice cream on the side. Here's where things got strange. Ed brought the check right after we had placed the dessert order and expected us to settle the bill before we had the dessert! What? When the dessert arrived, the ice cream was smack in the center. I reminded Ed that I asked for it in a separate dish. He seemed perplexed so plopped it on a small bread plate (unused) that was still on the table. Ed was certainly friendly enough. Maybe new on the job? More training needed! The dessert was as I remembered ... delicious when warm. Very sweet. Still short on pecans as I noted in a past review. Yes, we will be back for the bison, the apple crisp, and the cute coasters. Just hope the servers get more training.

First thing our group noticed was how clean inside was! And being that it was lunch hour on a Thursday afternoon, quite busy and still tidy! BTW we also found the men's & women's bathrooms to be in tip-top cleanly shape, and in a restaurant, that says a lot! You can also see into the kitchen from the dining area and it too was swept, clean and stocked. There are high-tops, low tops and a few booths for any type of seating comfort you choose. Since it was "seat yourself" we chose a low top for our party of four. Fresh brewed iced tea and Pepsi's to start. We all ordered and waited perusing the table menus showing daily specials, happy hour specials (beer and wine) plus fish platters. Great options and something for everyone. Our friends ordered the classic cheeseburgers with fries, I had the grilled chicken melt and my hubby opted for breakfast, the pecan waffle and a side of bacon. Our friend's burgers came out picture perfect; fluffy bun, generous lettuce, tomato and onion and crispy hot fries. They said it was probably one of the best burgers in the area. My husband's pecan waffle was crisp but fluffy on the inside, not dry. There was a light powdered sugar dusting and an ample amount of pecans. The bacon was crisp, not greasy and nice long strips as if baked not fried. My chicken melt was delicious! Grilled chicken breast, bacon, tomato, Swiss cheese and a "special sauce" all toasted between crisp buttery rye bread. I opted for onion rings and they were stellar. You know, where the outside is crisp but the onion is cooked translucent so that when you bite the onion ring the onion doesn't slide out in one long run?!! Perfect!! Our service was exceptional and the food presentation was great. Kudos to the owners for the service and quality effort they have put into this establishment, it truly shows. This will most likely become our "go-to" local spot!! Next review will be the Coney chili dog!
