I usually order takeout from a third party app, but my food always comes fast and hot when the delivery person doesn't take another delivery before mine. A few times they've skipped my drink, which is annoying, but it's pretty easy to get a refund through the third party app and if you've ever been to a restaurant before you know it's not hard to get a replacement drink if you just ask. My only complaint is a few times the food has come cold even though the courier came straight here from the restaurant, and it's only a five minute drive at best. read more

I used to go by this location on the way home from work but stopped going there because their prices were significantly higher than other locations, and they could NEVER get a simple order right. It's been about 3 years since I last went to this location, but I passed right past it today and decided to give them another chance. My go-to location on GT Pkwy in Cordova has completely gone to pot or I would have just gone to that one. I'm curious if both these locations are owned/managed by the same people because the service at this location today was just as bad as the other one. There were 3 cars in front of me when I got in line for the drive-through around 2:45 this afternoon. Within minutes, 3 more cars pulled in behind me, so the only way OUT of line was to go forward. The first 2 cars had ordered, and the 3rd car, the one directly in front of me, was still waiting to place their order 20 minutes later! I caught bits of the conversation between that driver and someone inside who kept saying they were having "technical difficulties" and it would be "about 15 minutes" before they could take their order. A man got out of the car behind me and walked to the door, probably to try to order inside. He came right back, and I heard him say the doors were locked. Finally, after over 20 minutes, they took the next person's order. I was so out of the mood by then I just wanted OUT. When I pulled up to the order screen someone inside repeated that they were having "technical difficulties" and could only take cash. I rarely carry cash! I don't know if there's still a "shortage" of coins, but the last time I went through the drive-through up the street, there was a sign on the window that said b/c of the coin shortage they couldn't make change. It took close to 10 more minutes before I could exit. Look, I have worked retail, and IF the problem was processing credit cards, there's a thing called a "knuckle buster" which enables you to accept cc's the "old-fashioned" way. Can you get ripped off occasionally? It's possible, but I just know as manager of a retail store I never once had a customer's payment not go through once the system was back up. These days most young people haven't even seen this thing. Let the computer system hiccup, and they are LOST! The workers I supervised couldn't even use a pocket calculator to figure the right amount of sales tax to add! I don't even know if that was the problem today, but WHY couldn't someone come outside and explain the situation to the by then 8 people in line and have the ones waiting for orders pull out of the drive-through line and wait so the other people can leave? Or have a sign and a traffic cone to put out to warn people they're temporarily unable to serve. I shut my engine off twice and sat in the heat b/c with gas at $5.00/gallon right now and less than a quarter of a tank left, I didn't have that much gasoline to burn. I don't know what's happened with all 3 locations nearest me, but the service at all 3 these days is non-existent. I don't know if they can't find enough workers or what. The workers I've observed are all young and much more interested in cutting up with their co-workers than helping customers. Closing down the dining room/inside ordering is a common sight these days, too, and not just late at night but at all times of the afternoon and evening. Perhaps it was related to the "technical difficulties" they reported, but I looked up the phone number and tried to call to find out what was taking so ridiculously long. The first 3 times it rang about 10 times and would then ask for a PIN. I tried a couple more times only to get a busy signal. I discovered Taco Bell in the '70s when I was in college, so I'm a long-time customer, often 3 or 4 times a week. I liked their food, and you could fill up there for under $2.00. Until about a year ago I could still fill up for under $4.00. Those days are gone. However, if these locations are representative of Taco Bell in 2022, then I'm done. I've already given the 871 N Germantown Pkwy store in Cordova their last chance. My last (and final) 3 visits there were awful. (No one ever answers the phone there either.) With today's epic failure at this location, they've gotten their last chance, too. ETA: At 3:45 this afternoon I called the corporate TB number. The message said "press 1 to speak with someone regarding your recent visit." I think they're in California, so it was 1:45 p.m. As soon as I pressed 1, a recording came on... "Thank you for calling Taco Bell. We're currently closed." They were closed at 1:45 p.m. on a weekday. You know, I'm starting to see a pattern here! read more

On a diet, so when I get a cheat day... 4/5 times will choose Taco Bell. I crave the nacho supreme and with only 36 or so net carbs.. most every time.. no matter the location, it's always so good! read more

I ordered through the app because the app states that this taco bell is open until 1 and the store states on the window that they are open until 2 am. However the employees said they were open until 12. We'll the employees called me a b**** and threaten to fight me because I asked how to get a refund on my money through the app. Then she was talking about how she just had a baby. I just wanted my food and wanted to know how to get a refund on the app because the store was no longer open. They were seriously yelling and threatening to come outside and fight me because I said I wanted a refund. read more

I feel like Taco Bell in general gets a lot of flak as fast food places go. However, I think I can say is the only franchise that hasn't messed up my drive-thru order. this location in particular the staff always seems pretty friendly, even late at night which I think is a special bonus. read more

Food is good. Window service not as speedy as it could be, but what bugs me is that I paid $14 for a $13 and change order. They don't keep proper change on hand. Unacceptable. Do that to enough people in a day, and it adds up. read more

I am from California and currently in town for work. I'm staying at the hotel across the street from this location. I look up a place to eat and see that this Taco Bell location is open until 1am. So I walk over there and was disappointed to find out the dinning room closed at 10pm. I didn't have a car so I thought I was going to go hungry tonight. However the employee working the drive thru window helped me out. After hearing I couldn't go drive thru because I didn't have a car he let me place an order anyway. When he gave me my food he introduced himself, invited me back again and thanked me for my order. I personally want to thank Denzel for a 5 star experience and for taking care of me tonight. I visited this restaurant for Breakfast January 18, 2016... Let's just say everything was not good. The food was very bland and did not live up to the hype as the Taco Bell commercials would have us to believe. One of my orders was sausage, but I never received it on my burittio. The steak tasted burned and tough... Bottom line "very disappointing". The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the staff was really pleasant and greeted me at the door as I entered and wished me a nice day as I was leaving. I would give a negative star but you can't. Service is good, but is is the highest priced Taco Bell in Shelby county. There is another Taco Bell less then 3 miles that is two dollars cheaper for the same exact thing. I walked in here today and it was literally 49 degrees in this store. Me and my friend came in at 3:50. We came to eat before we had to go to work at 5. We ordered on the self kiosks. I got my order in a decent amount of time. However, it is 4:30 and my friend just got her food that we ordered at the same time. We asked twice if they had it, they didn't have the first one so we reordered. Then, at about 4:20, 30 minutes into being there, we asked how long and the lady proceeded to say, "They are about to make it." The kitchen had not even started on my order! Very unsatisfied. I tried to go through the drive thru an after 10 min of not moving backed up to go inside. Inside there were three people ahead of me and no one taking orders. The lady walked by and said she's be right with us and proceeded to clean tables in a nowhere near full restaurant. After seeing that I left. The location in Germantown, Tn on wolf river. I go threw the line and order like normal. I take my order home. The hardshell tacos are falling apart bc some how hey are wet. The paper wrapping on another soft shell is literally breaking apart. There was a few dried sauce packets there stuck together. The food had been sitting for awhile. It's freaking disgusting! On top of that I realize now that they didn't give me a reciept. I used a credit card but this sounds like somehow my money was pocketed. They gave me some old order and kept the money. I went to taco bell on wolf river today . it was awful I asked for no sourcream on my burrito how ever they put it then rinsed it off and mafe it so soggy it tore while they were making it then since it took 15 minutes for my order they gave me two free tacos ..when I bit into one it had sourcream on it ..clearly them fucking with the white boy .
