Extremely rude. The first time I tried this location I went through the drivethru and they claimed they could only take cash because of the time of night. It was only around 9 pm. I didn't have cash so left. The next time (over a week later, approx 6:30pm) they said their machine is down, but I could pay inside with a card. Which didn't make any sense. I asked if they have a machine inside why can't they take my card at the window. She again said the drivethru was down, then said they only take cash in the drivethru. I again said that didn't make sense. The girl was almost immediately became hostile when I pushed back. Then said said "because it's all the way in the lobby and they don't want to walk that far"--then the manager claimed they don't have a card machine at the actual window. At this point, I'm confused and frustrated with the illogical reasoning and the rude tone. But I'm pregnant and craving Taco Bell. There was a line of people inside and I also had my dog in the car so I didn't really want to go inside to order and have to wait. But I went in anyway TO ORDER-- AND to see what the actual situation/layout was to understand their reasoning. When I went inside nobody approached the register to take my order or to ask if they could help me, it seemed they knew I was the one who just came through the drivethru and therefore wanted to refuse service or something. So I snapped a picture of the layout of the register. As you can see from the picture, the "lobby" register is literally one step away from the drivethru register. The girl working the drivethru started claiming I was taking pictures of her and the entire staff started to get rowdy. I told them I didn't take a picture of HER, only the location of the register--she is not visible in the picture. I could hear other girls in the back talking like they were about to come out and fight me and telling each other to grab their phones to record me. I still stood there for a moment to see if a manager or anyone was going to come try to deescalate, to talk to me, or take my order but nobody did so I left. Wild. When we got up to order, we were told that they were out. When I suggested that the sign should be removed, the manager came around and removed it. By far the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. The food is fine, but that's to be expected with fast food. The experience is awful. One way to enter into this Taco Bell from one side of the road, which is not uncommon however, if cars are exiting out that way entranceway you're probably going to hit each other or slow up traffic to where everybody's pissed off at you. it doesn't matter the time of day they never ever accept cash. It seems like. The gentleman( gentleman is not true) working the last few times I've been there is rude. tonight I went through and I ordered my food. He said pull forward to the window after having told me they don't take cash only card. When I got to the window, I said "hey can I add on two crunchy tacos?" his responses we can't add on at the window. Which I know is not true because I've done it at the Taco Bell already. Instead of arguing with them, I say to myself it's fine. I don't need them. I'll just go about my night and then he has me pull forward for my food which was clearly wrong since he didn't give it to me. He went back inside and got something correct which I appreciate Him doing instead of handing me incorrect food but a little communication would've been nice. As I'm waiting there I realize if I was to go back for tacos, I'd have to go around the block to come back down the correct side of the road to turn into shitty entrance tacos. When he hand me the food it's very abrupt. Which is fine. I understand that he has some more better to be so now I decide oh he's gonna be seeing me again so he says "have a nice night which is polite." I say "oh you'll see me again I have to go through the drive-through again to get my tacos." And not wanting to go around the block to get my food to be cold. I decided to back up in my truck around the drive-through to pull back into the drive-through. Where I say "two taco please." at which point I pulled to the window and I give him exact change. And all of this was to say I will never be going back to this shitty ass Taco Bell and you should never go there ever ever ever ever. I know that's a lot of Evers however I mean it and I know that on some nights when that guy is not working it probably is smooth and beautiful and I know that they probably have some bullshit reason they don't take cash like they can't have change when the manager leaves I don't know. I ordered my food through the drive through and the staff were super nice. They were able to correct my order once I told them and the food quality was really good. I got the Chalupa box with an upgraded drink to a Mountain Dew Baja Blast and everything was very packed. The tacos had a lot of meat and more than enough lettuce and tomatoes. From my previous experiences, the frezzie drinks weren't filled to the top but mine was today. This place was amazing from their service to their quality. Definitely recommend 100%. I've been to many Taco Bell's, and the quality at this particular location is awful. The chicken quesadilla and chicken soft tacos were not made how they are at every other location. The quesadilla normally had a cheese sauce in it and there was hardly in it here. There was barely anything in the tacos, and they were hardly wrapped. Thirdly (and here's where it gets messy, so I must make specific note of this): While I don't often eat fast food, Taco Bell is, without a singular doubt, my personal version of kryptonite. It is my awful, shameful secret. It is my dirty mistress; I love and abhorre in unison, and all the feelings are so complicated. My relationship with Taco Bell is certainly a complex one, but I just can't end it. It's a vortex of codependence. SO then. That's out there. I really like Taco Bell. I said it. I said it out loud, on the internet, for all of y'all Yelpers to hear and read and take in. Yes, there are worse things. There are more shameful things. This is a real step for me, however. It doesn't mean I go a lot... it only means I go sometimes. Maybe, say, once/twice a month max. Still... it's enough. It's enough. This is how it works: I go to Bayshore to buy a thing or get my eyebrows threaded or whatever. And maybe I went to the gym earlier that day. And I'm feeling good. GUT WINS: HOT SAUCE AND TACO BELL I NEED IT NOOOWWWW GOING THEN Then what happens is this: 1. I make a left-hand turn by the Walgreens. 2. I sneak through the Walgreens parking lot. 3. I head back in the direction I came on Port Washington. 4. I turn right into the Taco Bell parking lot. My brain is sad, but my heart is so so happy. To the review, then! Four stars because the person at the drive-thru ASKS YOU HOW YOU ARE DOING. That is Taco Bell class, folks. For real. And I always am happy, even though I know it's coming. So then I say, "I'm well, and you?" And sometimes they tell me how they are, and sometimes they just wait to take my order, but still. It's really nice. And my order's usually right on. SPOT on. And it never takes that long, because it's fast-effing-food. Loss of a singular star for two reasons: 1. One time I asked for my requisite "crapton of hot sauces" and I did not receive them. Drive through was down so I had to go inside. Once inside the staff was rude and unmotivated. A single combo took over 20 minutes to arrive even after getting it ordered took three tries for them to enter it right. The kitchen staff had loud inappropriate music blaring and they were singing along with lyrics that shouldn't be in a professional workplace. While waiting for my meal, the staff told another customer they were "too busy and would only take ideas through the drive through" which supposedly had been broken when I ordered? The manager was rude to new customers coming in, treating them like they were wrong for wanting to order food and then denying them service altogether. All this is just the service. The floor was dirty, the tables hadn't been cleaned and the staff told customers the bathroom was closed and unusable. The people working here seem like they just want to get paid for driving their customers away so they don't have to work. read more

If you want a business to take your money and then give you less than what you paid for, and then to get hung up on immediately when you call about it, this is the Taco Bell for you! I had this delivered. The order was so spectacularly wrong that as I checked it against my receipt, I kept finding new things that were just completely wrong. I was given an order that was packaged like what I ordered, but for most of the items, every single thing was wrong. I called the Taco Bell. Immediately, they hung up on me. What I was actually given was also much cheaper than what I paid for. This Taco Bell took my money, gave me way cheaper items than I ordered, and told me to get lost. I noticed that the food was also not good quality compared to other times I've gotten food from Taco Bell. Every taco was falling apart and many had things falling out as if the taco was not even made properly at all. In total, this was the worst experience I can remember having with fast food. The only positive was that the food did not look or smell like it was going to kill me. I did eat it though, and I am hoping I was right about it being safe to eat. Given how awful everything else about this was, I would be surprised if they had good food safety here. The wonderful delivery service was shocked as well, and gave me a full refund. I have never had that happen in my life! The business which worked with Taco Bell to deliver its awful mistakes was so ashamed of what this location did that they decided to pay for the entire thing.
