So I pull into the drive-thru as I've done hundreds of times at any Taco Bell and there's just a random person sitting there about 5 ft away from where you would place your order at the speaker box, wearing an orange vest. It's almost 100° outside. I ignored them because never in my 48 years of existence have I pulled into a drive-thru other than a Dutch brothers, and anyone was out there taking orders. Suddenly I look to my left and they're standing there at my window, completely caught me off guard and freaked me out because there's no reason a human needs to be out here at all at a drive-through let alone a Taco Bell in almost a hundred degrees taking orders. Would give zero stars is I could. I went in yesterday 10/30/2025 and witnessed the manager on shift screaming at the employees. She was screaming so loud it could be heard from the lobby area. The employees looked so defeated and helpless, that is not the way to run an establishment and honestly shows a lack of professionalism on the managers part! This is not the first time I've witnessed this manager treating her employees like garbage, needless to say I will no longer be eating at this establishment. According to Door Dash, this store is about 300 feet away from me - and yet it takes 20-30 minutes for them to process my order. By the time I get it, it is usually cold. Today, I ordered a medium Pepsi - and they sent me a small Sprite. Everything in the order looks like someone just threw the food into the box from across the room. I mean, I know this isn't fine dining or anything....but it also costs $20 for a bag of cheap and mostly unhealthy food. So....i came by and ordered a mango fiesta drink. I paid $2.19 plus tax for it. And it was super water down. I never "taste" my drink, but when the drive thru employee handed me the drink and I saw how "yellow" it look. I get this drink ALL the time so i know! I am writing the review in regards to what My wife and I witnessed at the Taco Bell in Gridley California. The workers in back were calling the women working in the front counter the N word in Spanish. I know this as I am fluent in Spanish. I was absolutely disgusted with their actions and Taco Bell as a company. I was so angry and hurt for the women working the front counter. The fact that the employees are comfortable enough to speak that way in ear shot of customers let's me know that management is aware and doesn't care. Something needs to be done and I hope that corporate takes a look at this location. Not for an every day sort of thing, but definitely every once in awhile or when i'm on the run. The best thing about this taco bell is that it's right off of 99. So on a morning in which you're on the go to the airport or coming back, it's an ideal stop. My favorite thing is a cheesy gordita crunch. It's just too good to pass up and i love it. I happened to notice this Taco Bell location had a low rating when trying to find information about the current renovation closure and had to leave a review. I remember when it first opened with fond memories! I've lived and traveled all across the U.S. and have eaten at MANY Taco Bell locations. This is obviously the one I've eaten at the most since it is in my hometown, but I consider myself lucky that it is. I consistently get great food with good portions every time I go. It is truly one of the best Taco Bell restaurants I've visited. Of course it is a Fast Food restaurant and sometimes things don't come out perfectly, there are long lines, dirty bathrooms, and occasionally rude employees, so bad reviews happen, but in my experience those kind of things happen far less often at this particular location (except maybe the long lines because the food is good!). read more

I come to this location since it's in my commute to school. The remodel looks amazing, staff is very helpful, and the store looked clean when I was there. I had a great experience at this location. I usually don't eat out but when I do, I surely will chose this location due to the experience I received. The person helping me was Adnon, who helped me decide the best option for me. He also let me sample a airhead freeze because I did not want to be dissaponted with the product. He delivered the food to me and my friend at the tabel. Call me crazy, but that's customer service! I also interacted with the kind shift manager , Ish was his name, and let him know about my experience. This place is me new go to taco bell location when I am craving some bomb food. Apparently the employees dont know the difference between a soft taco and a burrito. i ordered a Shredded Chicken Burrito and was served a shredded chicken soft taco. this is not the first time i've had issues with this location. i dont recomend this location to anyone. they constantly get orders wrong, the soda machine only works about half the time and there have been multiple times that nearly every table was dirty. read more

Slowest Taco Bell EVER. I stopped in Gridley on my way up north and figured Taco Bell would be a nice quick stop (and they have Mt Dew). I arrived at 7pm, went inside to stretch my legs. There were 3 people waiting for their food when I ordered. I ordered a chicken burrito and nachos which I didn't get for 20 MINUTES. I checked the time on my receipt when I left. Ridiculous.
