So last week in Sacramento (Natomas) I went to a Del Taco, it was dismal see my review of there. THIS Del Taco was the polar opposite. Plenty of juicy chicken, lettuce, cheese and extra sauce. It was how I remember Del Taco being. The service was very friendly, and fast. My order was 100% accurate in every way. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. OMG I can see why the Youtubers like Del Taco. So delicious! On taco Tuesday, you can get three regular size tacos, which are plenty filling, for only $4.28 (my location). Even a regular taco comes overflowing with meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. They taste amazing too, you can actually taste the seasoning in the ground beef, just like when you make them yourself. We already know fast food is fast food and if you expect someone to cook it like you'd want it, your at the wrong place. However, when you stop by to get an meal as such and you've been out since 4:30 AM, washing your hands is just the perfect thing before eating. Also, when you've been going and going, one would most likely want to use the bathroom facilities as well. Not only that state law requires bathrooms for employees. Over the last 50+ years, restaurants have provided them for their guests. I was told by the cashier the bathrooms were broke and I couldn't use them. A minute later I saw another employee go down the hall into the bathroom. I don't care about the food, I knew what I was getting mediocre at best lately. After the RONA19, fast food has become nothing more then a food enema. However, telling a bold face lie to a customer shows the decline has gotten worse and worse with food and staff. I think this is the last time I will be going to Del Taco for a constipation buster. It was never like before, the food had taste and the people were helpful. Something's changed here. This place used to be so clean and had the friendliest employees. It's gotten dirtier the last few visits and service has gone down hill. My most recent visit was Friday around 8pm. It was not busy and the dining room was disgusting. Every single table had food particles on it and there were only 3 customers total in the place... There were also employees arguing in the cooking area. But my biggest complaint is that there were baby flies flying around everywhere, which means at some point recently, maggots hatched somewhere in this place. They were baby FLIES, not gnats. I started going to Del Taco on Taco Tuesday's because it's my Friday and that way I don't have to cook!! Today I was very disappointed! Brought home several tacos (10) and every one of them were so skimpy!! Hardly any meat, a few pieces of lettuce and a bit of cheese!! Please don't sell tacos like these anymore! If you want a good, cheap burrito. Go to Del Taco. The red burritos are great and I'm a huge fan of their fries. However, if you go through the drive thru - be forewarned. Out of all the fast food places in Yuba-Sutter, this one has been consistently slow, every single time. Even if they're not busy. Also, their customer service leaves alot to be desired. In fact, the last time I went in there - I sat at the counter waiting to order, and after about 3 minutes - I hadn't even been acknowledged. So, before they even cared to tell me they were busy or they would "be right there," I left. As a paying customer, I deserved better. Especially, because I was in a rush in the first place. So, I guess if you want a good fast food burrito and fries - Del Taco works well for you. However, don't be in a rush when you go. You might wait a while. So I go to Del Taco, ordered takeout. I asked for extra hot sauce and I'm told and I quote, "I'm only allowed to give out 1 per item, sorry buddy". He actually gave me 5 for three items but I usually like 3 per item. I have NEVER been refused to get extra hot sauce EVER at Del Taco until now. If you go inside you can use as much as you want so what the hell? Del Taco is NOW off my go to list. Avoid this place like the plague. I mean really? You want to lose a long time customer for 4 packets of hot sauce? Morons! I posted to their Facebook page my experience and was asked for my contact information. I was suppose to get a call from the manager. Never got a call. I've never been back nor plan to. WARNING: In the summer time, the bees are attracted to the flowered landscaping in the drive through. The *only* thing about this visit that was not poor was placing our order with Nicole. She was pleasant & efficient taking our order. It went downhill from there. She told us to "just go around the corner & I'll bring the food out to you" when there was no one behind us. We had not been there before and since the back door was propped open it seemed as if they were going to bring it out there so we just waited in our car behind the parked cars by the fight homeless people. Then a car pulls up and honks at us so I backed up, the young lady in the car wearing Del Taco attire, aggressively pulls into the parking spot in front of my car. Gets out with an attitude & attempted to slam the backdoor of the restaurant, however there was something blocking the door. After about 10 more minutes, she came out with our food. She informs us that we were supposed to park in front of the restaurant and we certainly weren't supposed to idle our car there and "block employee parking". There was nothing denoting employee parking what so ever. We gave her our feedback on how badly the whole situation, herself included, went and she said in a very dismissive tone that she would let her manager know. My husband & I were not ok with her attitude nor any of the experience so we decided to go in to let the manager know ourselves. We walked into the restaurant and the young lady is loudly telling her coworkers what had just transpired, in her opinion, with us. She was shocked to see us walk in. We asked to talk to the manager to which she replied that she was the manager. We told her that if she was the manager, it explained a lot about our entire experience. We then asked for the general manager & owners contact information. We were told they could not give that out but to call the store in the morning. No one in the store even knew the store's phone number, they had to google it from their phones. The other employees also informed us after Carly, the young woman that claimed to be the manager, stormed off that she was in fact not the manager but was just in charge this evening. I cannot even tell you what a terrible experience this was all the way around. I will be following up with the general manager Robert Adair in the morning. This was our first visit here and it explains why I have rarely seen cars there in the past. It was my mistake but it is not one that I will be making again. read more

I got the fish tacos, they were alright, nothing to special. My husband got the spicy grilled chicken burrito. It wasn't really spicy at all, it was only beans, rice, chicken, cheese and a flour tortilla. The ranch is good though. Kind interesting that our meals came with fries, wasn't expecting that at all. I have had the chicken avacodo ranch burrito in the past, that was good. I will not rush to return to this place, but I wouldn't exclude it if is one of my only options.
