Railhouse Pub & Grill continues to impress. We started with the stuffed bell pepper soup, and it tasted exactly like a homemade stuffed pepper, rich, flavorful, and absolutely perfect. The pasta special (risotto-stuffed portobello mushroom with Italian sausage risotto) was outstanding and cooked perfectly. We paired dinner with excellent craft cocktails and a very nice bottle of Pinot Noir. A special shout-out to Jessica, who is a talented craft cocktail bartender. Friendly, attentive service and expertly made drinks made the evening even better. Great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

It's always great. They value their pickup service better than any other restaurant. They treat you like you are a table customer. Good customer service whether it's to go or stay.

Stopped by on the way home from Yuba City. Tried something different: Mac n' Cheese panini with Pepperoni. Total stoner food! It was really delicious! Added garlic fries and a cold beer. The panini had smoked Gouda, which is my favorite, and adding pepperoni for $1.00 more was a no brainer. It was crispy, creamy, smokey and salty - perfect! The fries were good, not great, only because they were slightly overdone. Had they been removed from the fryer a minute earlier they would have been better. Waitress was super friendly and efficient. The ambiance was what I expected- sports on a couple of TV's and some locals popping in and out. I'll definitely return.

Of course the decor is trains.

Delicious, fun food for all. Easy to find and nice inside. Been meaning to try here and so glad we did. We had the special which was a burger this bacon, mushrooms and smoked Gouda cheese. Yummy to the max. Big piece of meat and the roll was soooo fresh. Our friend had the French dip with lots of au jus sauce. And the French fries are so very crunchy and good. All good.

We are local and absolutely love this place. The staff are amazing and the food is delicious. Kayla was our server today, and she was super great with the kiddos. Today our youngest ordered the pizza panini. It did not disappoint. The cheese stretch was amazing!! We'll keep coming back!!

The restaurant is rather large, I thought it was larger than your typical taqueria. Tables and floors were clean. Easy to navigate one's way through to the counter and then to whatever table you choose. Luckily, I had arrived before the place got too busy, so I had no wait in line and no fight at the salsa bar where I got my chips and salsa. They have spicy, mild, a type of crema, etc. And they all are tasty! Who doesn't love a salsa bar? I had ordered the Birria Taco Meal, which includes 2 tacos [I could've eaten 4-5 easily], rice and beans and guacamole, pickled onion and lime. The food was hot, fresh from the kitchen, and I wolfed it down not long after it had landed on my table from the server. Rice and beans were nicely seasoned, the guacamole was smoother than what I'm used, but nothing bad about it concerning the taste. I love pickled onions, the vinegary taste works for me! The tacos were crunchy, and the meat inside was tender and juicy. That was the best part about my experience: the food! And the worst? The fact that they have a loaded menu and that I couldn't order more items because I was full. The food here is just phenomenal! I left feeling satisfied and with a strong desire to return again. If only I lived closer to Gridley!

The restaurant seemed dirty and uncleanly both in the inside and out. The lady who I picked up my order from was nice but the food was just unbearable. The sauce/seasoning was fine but the crawfish meat was tuff and rubbery and discolored. The fat from the crawfish is supposed to be an orangish-yellow color and this crawfish was green and it looked repulsive. I had to throw it out it was practically inedible and I felt like i'd get sick if I ate it. I can tell that crawfish was cooked dead and was probably sitting there dead for a while before it was cooked.

I started with the singapore vermicelli noodles with shrimp, onions, bean sprouts, and scrambled eggs, in a curry sauce. It also comes with bell peppers, which I asked them to leave off, and I asked for the sauce to be mild. The food was delicious! The noodles were perfectly done, there was a good amound of all of the ingredients, and everything was cooked perfectly. The curry sauce had a very mild spice, which was perfect for me. It was just a little bit salty for my personal taste, but not overly so. I do realize that everybody's tastes are different. For desert, I ordered six of the Jin Dui. Sesame donut balls, filled with a sweet bean paste. They were excellent. Not overfried, and the filling was delicious. Not too sweet. I had enough food for 2 full meals. The price for all I got was very reasonable. I want to order from here again. Thanks!!!

After we ordered our food, we quickly found out that it was cold and tasted pre-heated, almost like it had just come out of a microwave. After that, we had an angel shot for the blue guy. The room and overall ambiance of the restaurant itself felt like I was about to be executed, like I was in a hospital, and the food tasted like hospital food. Then, a person wearing Meta glasses pulled a prank on me and took money from my wallet. He claimed he took $200, and I was extremely upset. I told the staff and employees, but they acted like they didn't give a . I felt violated and extremely uncomfortable after that experience. Then, when the food finally came, it was hard, cold, and only slightly warm. I guess you get what you pay for. I also don't even live in this area--I'm from Folk Valley, a couple of states away--so this was definitely an interesting experience for me. Overall, the food honestly wasn't that bad, but I would still say: stay safe. On top of everything else, I also found what appeared to be a little critter in my burrito. Overall, this was definitely an experience I won't forget.

We found El Capi on Yelp and were impressed by the great reviews. When we walked in, it was completely empty, which made us a little hesitant--but the vibes felt right, so we decided to give it a shot. First impressions? The place is super cute and spotless--huge for me. Even the bathroom was chef's kiss clean (major points!). The server was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Booths were spacious and spotless. You can order from physical menus or scan a QR code, which is always a nice option. Here's what we ordered: * Caldo de Camarón * Calamari * Spicy Edamame * Two shrimp tacos * One fish taco * Shrimp tostada Everything was seriously delicious. The edamame had a great kick, and the calamari was perfectly cooked--crispy, not rubbery--and paired with a zesty tartar sauce that really elevated the dish. The tacos and tostada were fresh and flavorful. My only critique? The tortillas. That's the one area I'd love to see improved. Handmade or at least warmed on the comal would have really taken the tacos to the next level. Ours felt like they came from a microwave or warmer, which was a bit of a letdown. As for the caldo--it was flavorful and came with a generous side of onion, cilantro, and avocado, which I loved. The shrimp-to-broth ratio was perfect, but I wish there had been more veggies in the soup. A few more chunks of potato, some carrots, maybe a bit of zucchini or even corn would have made it feel more complete. One other win: the beans. My husband couldn't stop raving about them. We're not sure if they were made in-house, but they didn't taste canned, and that's a win in our book. By the time we were leaving, more people were coming in--which was nice to see. I have a feeling El Capi might be a newer spot, and I genuinely hope it takes off. If you're in the area, give them a shot and support a small business with a ton of potential!
