Very surprised by how fast and friendly this location is compared to others. Honestly, I expected to sit in the line of cars for a good 20 minutes but little to my surprise, I was in and out in 5 minutes. The staff at the windows were very friendly and energetic. (Night shift 10PM). read more

I found it was particularly slow at this location. It seemed there was very few people there. After it was my turn to come up, the girl turned around and chatted with her coworker. I wasn't sure what it was about but I stood there for quite some time while they were giggling..etc. Then the girl finally got with me. I literally felt more like an intruder rather than a customer. To make a long story short, she got my order wrong twice and made me wait for another 10 minutes or so. She didn't apologize or even acknowledge me. I don't know what was going on. I've never experienced this kind of waiting and treatment at other Taco Bell places. I give it 2 stars but I almost gave it 1 were it not for the food. I tried to be friendly and patient but it was very hard. My mother has also had similar issues at this particular place. I see now what she was talking about. Maybe they need more staff. read more

Me and my friend come to Taco Bell around 9:30 to get food. I go to order and after everything I say the lady keeps asking "Is that all?" "Okay, is that all for you?!" I get to the window and pay receiving no recipt back and the lady with pink hair is playing with some small child (probably 4) having her help put food into the bag. She hands me our bag and before we drive off we go to check it and my friend ordered a triple layer nacho, no beans add lettuce and the lady told us that it doesn't come with meat and we would have to pay extra if we wanted meat on there. I had ordered two mini shredded quesadillas and a spicy potato soft taco no lettuce and I find 2 burritos. The lady tells me that they no longer put them in foil. Instead they use a bigger shell and wrap them so it appears to be more food. The shell for my potato taco was cold as well as the cheese and potatoes. I took five bites of my "quesadillas" to discover it's mostly shell besides the cold meat spot in the middle. Very disappointed with the food and the service. Won't be coming to this Taco Bell again. read more

Average Taco Bell experience been here several times, usually through the drive thru. Most of the time they get my order right average amount of friendliness. I went in today and no one was very friendly the tables weren't clean and they almost got my 2 item order wrong, but I'll still come back thanks to the cheap food. read more

My family and I went here the other day ONLY because it is cheap, supposed to be fast, and bear where we were trying to finish our last minute school clothes shopping. Boy! Was it a mistake! I am on a special diet for autoimmune disease and it's hard for me to find places I can trust to eat at. THIS IS NOT ONE! I asked if their guacamole had peppers or tomatoes in it because I always thought theirs did not. The boy works no the counter asked someone else and came back and said no that it was just avocado. I asked if I could order a chicken taco with a hard shell as I cannot have gluten. He said it was no problem. So, I ordered 2 chicken tacos in a hard shell with ONLY lettuce and guacamole. I had to wait forever until they got done preparing the ticket before me's 16 items. My family was already done eating and our boys were starting to get anxious. Then, they finally served it up WRONG! It came out only lettuce and chicken in flour tortillas. So, I my husband takes it back. They make it again on corn tortillas (which took forever AGAIN because they said I had to wait for them to finish the ticket ahead of my mine again. I finally get it, and there's no guacamole. So my husband goes up a little more ticked off and says, "You forgot the guac!" So, they look at him like they have no idea what to do at this point and before they could say anything more, he says, "Just give us a cup of guac please." So, they give it to him and then we realize there are peppers and tomatoes which I can not have. By this point we were totally done! My husband asked they lady why it's so hard to get two chicken tacos on corn tortillas with only lettuce and guacamole that it took them over 30 minutes to get that straight and it was still wrong. The manager just said, "Oh, we're really sorry about that, Sir. Would you like to cinnamon twists to make it right?" He said, "No!!! We just wanted our order right and in a reasonable amount of time, and we WILL be making a complaint!" She just said, "Sorry 'bout that" and went back to making orders in the back. The sad thing is this is happening more and more at more places now. I hate to eat out now! I'd rather just eat at home because at least I know that order will be RIGHT and the service will be good because I DID IT! Is there no such thing as pride in a job done right anymore? Are there actually more than 1/10th of the workforce out there who actually CARE to take care of their customers right? It's no wonder places are starting to automate their businesses so they don't have to deal with careless workers anymore! WHAT a shame! We will NOT go back to this restaurant! read more

My boyfriend and I have lived in Independence for about a year now. We absolutely love taco bell. We have gone to this location multiple times a week since we lived here. I would NEVER write a review normally but this is serious. We went through the drive thru as normal. (The person was very rude, got some of order wrong, but whatever we'll eat it anyways) my boyfriend tried his mini quesadilla and immediately gagged and spit it out. It was soaked with vodka inside! I didn't believe him at first until I smelled it. It reeked of vodka. I'm pregnant and if I had consumed this I would be looking for legal recourse. I called the store and the female manager told me that was impossible, didn't offer to remake our food, or anything. She didn't take me seriously at all and had an attitude. If she would have just taken me seriously and been friendly I would have left it at that, but she did not. So I have contacted the health dept. And their corporate office. They told me to keep the food wrapped in the fridge until a regional manager contacts me tomorrow. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION!!! this is not ok. read more

No words can describe how disappointed I was with this establishment. I mean it's Taco Bell so I wasn't expecting much but this was down right bad. Me and a couple of friends came through on Friday April 10th at around 10pm. When we were ordering the girl taking Our order wasn't very good at her job. We had a $37 order and it was all messed up they forgot several things put stuff that wasn't Supposed to be on there. So we go back and tell them what's wrong this is the bad part. They took our food back like normal but instead of making fresh food for the whole order they only made the remakes. That right there isn't safe for anyone. But when I got back to check it they forgot food again and that's when I realized that they had just given us our old food when one of the tacos still had a bite out of it. The place was closed at this point so I called to see how to resolve the matter the manager on the phone didn't say his name but told me a lie right to my face when I told him that the food he gave us was old he said you have no way to prove that it was that's when I told him about the taco with a bite taken out of it then he told me to call back the next day in a hateful demeanor. If it was me I would never eat here again I suggest you don't either there's another one right down the road go to that on instead of this. They practice bad food safety and you're putting your life in danger by eating here. read more

I was a regular customer here for a few years. I went there every week, sometimes two and three times. I spent a lot of money there. One thing I noticed was that the night shift was way slower and provided worse service than the day crew. I blame most of it on poor management. There's one guy in particular, he's young and seems very immature. If you go in there while he's in charge you are likely to get your order back wrong and/or have to wait a very long time to get your food. The last time I went there I ordered the number one. I got it quick but when I got home and pulled the burrito supreme out of the bag I noticed that it was really thick and hard. When I unrolled it, I found that they had made a huge hole in my burrito and instead of just making it over again, the idiot that made it just wrapped it in another tortilla. Now either this guy was a complete moron, or he was hoping I was. Perhaps both. I will never go back to that store again. Their loss. I'm sure over the course of a year I spent hundreds of dollars. I'll be going to other Taco Bells from now on. read more
