Tacos were great. The guacamole was old, brown and smelly. Guacamole went straight in the trash.

Howdy All, I don't know why I can't seem to shake this place (but I really do know why). Well, suffice it to say that it isn't always the fancy, swancy places that have the best food, the simple/ordinary and sometimes overlooked places often are delicious as well. Don't sleep on Fuzzy's! I didn't say 'hole in the wall' because it isn't...on the contrary, it's just a cool little spot/Mexican eatery that happens to have decent tacos (love the flavor) nachos (very, very tasty), burritos (huge & very filling), enchiladas & cilantro lime rice. These items in particular send my taste buds into a hop, skip and a jump! The cashiers are usually fairly friendly & when I go to the pick-up area to get my food they are cordial. I love the decor & ambiance which is fitting for a Mexican restaurant. You can sit at a table, booth or a high table with unique bar chairs (Warning: these are not for big booty folks). I also like the variety of the menu and you can add, mix-up etc. as you please and they're very accommodating sometimes with no up-charge. The prices are reasonable and the portion size is normally enough for another meal. They also have several drink options for those of you that indulge in beverages other than sodas. There are several locations in town and also quite a few spread throughout the U.S. as I've noticed in my travels. I had such an enjoyable lunch recently as I dined alone and just thought I'd share that it's worth checking out if you've never been (and returning if you haven't been in a while). Again, a great place to try with tasty food that won't break the bank...just quaint, pleasant and peaceful (if you go outside of the lunch and dinner rush and be sure to peep out the specials on certain days). Happy Dining!

2 stars. The back staff are rude. I asked where the mild sauce was and they said, "on the table that's our sauce." Like I had no idea where the sauce was located. So then I started to put the beeper down on the counter and the back staff said, " no, it goes in there." This doesn't sound rude but wow, the attitude. The sauce at the table was on the hot side of medium. I had a Baja chicken taco plate. Pretty sure that was a flour tortilla and not a corn tortilla like it said. Whew glad I didn't get a gluten migraine on the way home. The rice rice was clumpy but the black beans were good. I ordered soapiplla bites to go which was the best part of the meal and at home.

The food just wasn't good. I barely touched my quesos, which is usually my favorite thing. The enchiladas weren't good either.

Good food, ok service and price. Margaritas are on the weak side but during happy hour for $3 I'd say it's a good deal

I might have been given some significant discounts on food during her employment if you know what I mean?! Since the statute of limitations has expired and said female now lives in Florida, I think it's time to come clean some 45 years later, and yes we are still friends. In fact she was the first person that I sent photos of my weekend meal. I was actually surprised to see that Taco Via still existed and made a dash out to Overland Park on a soggy Sunday to see if the food lived up to what my memories hold. I ordered a Nacho w/ jalapeños, a Sancho, and "The Thing". The Nacho is one of the metro's simple pleasures - a corn tortilla covered in melted cheese with a spiral design of the best taco sauce in America and a splattering of diced jalapeños. Simple and simply irresistible. The Sancho is a messy beast with it's soft flour tortilla packed to the brim with everything that you would find in a burrito - taco meat, lettuce, cheese, tomato, and sauce. "The Thing" is a beautiful thing! It is basically a tostado topped with ground beef, onion sauce and a mountain of melty cheese. All three of these menu items would be 5 stars even if you were forced to eat them with Taco Bell sauce, but Taco Via has their own sauce that you can dispense from a pump at the drink station. I found myself sipping the sauce between bites and realized then that I must buy a container to take home with me. I plan on using liberal amounts of it on a taco salad at home tomorrow evening. I hope you forgive me and especially my female friend that forced those "discounted" tacos and sodas upon me Two Score and Five Years ago. With to-go sauce, meal, tax and tip, I spent $25+, I'm giving a well deserved 5 star review and I promise to come back and spend even more money... I hope this starts the reconciliation process, and the forgiveness of juvenile misdemeanors.

Love their Sancho! I've been to them so often, they now recognize me and remember by order!read more

What a delightful experience we had here! HUGE kudos to Matthew Hardesty at the register for guiding us through the menu; there were several items that were new to us and we really appreciate his assistance. He was friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and served us our meals after we sat down. THANK YOU for your hospitality, Matthew! The food definitely was as good as we remember! I had the bacon cheeseburger Whataburger Jr. meal, and my husband had the patty melt meal. All the food was hot, fresh, and totally delicious! We really like the "sideboard" of ketchups, other condiments, napkins and such that Matthew brought with our meals. It reminded us of the old-style diners, which is a good thing. We completely devoured every crumb and enjoyed every moment of our lunch. Fabulous food! Many thanks to Whataburger and your personnel for giving us such a lovely experience returning to your restaurant chain! We'll be back as soon as we can!!
