This is the slowest Taco Bell I have ever been to in my life. It takes forever for the order to come out and sometimes it isn't even the right order. This has to be the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. I wouldn't go so far as to say the taste is terrible but it's at least sub-par. They don't even know how to cut a quesadilla (Apparently, they don't know you are supposed to cut them.....) The KFC is just your average run-of-the-mill fast food, but they are both INCREDIBLY slow. Very Poor 90% of the time they will forget something on your order I have been there 8 times, 6 times of those 8 they have forgotten something on my order, and when I went to complain after ordering the assistant manager handed me my food assuring me everything was there but to check for myself... and what do you know they were missing 2 of my burritos.. I told the manager all she did was talk to the cooks and didnt provide me with any compensation. I wish there was a zero star option or a negative star option because this place is stealing peoples money for their shitty ass food service. I love this taco bell specifically because of this girl named Lexie, she's one of the sweetest people i've ever had an interaction with at a drive thru! The service was good. But the corporate food-like substance? Bacon and egg burrito: It's not really a tortilla wrapper, is it? It's gummy and sticky. The eggs didn't taste like scrambled; I'm guessing they inject them with air and microwave them. The bacon bits, hard and bland. The whole thing was bland, the textures way off. I also tried the 5-layer beefy burrito. Velveta? Really? And 1280 grams of sodium? Good grief! This is corporate food at it's worst. Take a respectable tradition of ethnic home cooking and turn it into industrially produced health hazards. So why is it that I still have to give 1-star to even the worst of restaurants? This is by far the WORST fast-food restaurant I have ever set foot in. I haven't eaten at this or any other Taco Bell in over 2 years because of the horrible service at this location. Has the food ever tasted bad here? Nope. Basically, there are two reasons why I don't eat here: 1) The cashier shouldn't touch someones money and then go touch food without washing their hands or putting gloves on. 2) When there are 3 people in the restaurant and a bunch of workers in the kitchen, two bean and cheese burritos shouldn't take 15 minutes. Worse than that, when I eat my "15-minute burritos", they certainly should be folded properly so that they don't completely fall apart. I was dissatisfied with the customer service at this establishment. Not only did it take a while for the cashier to take my order, but afterwords, he gave me the wrong change! I have been there multiple times and have gotten orders mixed up as well. For example, I have ordered soft tacos and received crunchy tacos many times which can be quite annoying. Especially when in the drive thru, the service wasn't up to par. I would request no ice and would receive ice on all my beverages. I would not recommend this Taco Bell. read more

It's Taco Bell, not Javier's. But adjusting for lower expectations, I think that this location makes pretty good food and they do the classic Taco Bell recipes justice by using all fresh ingredients every time I've been there and never really messing up any orders that I have placed. This particular location is pretty great as well because it is so spacious and there are plenty of seeing opportunities inside and outside, in addition to plenty of plugs for guests in case you need to recharge your phone or laptop while eating. They even have the small corner that me and my friends like to call the VIP booth because it's a seating area unlike what you tend to find in other Taco Bells. My main issue at this place is that the customer service is pretty nonexistent. It's never really crowded in here but the employees really try hard to pretend like you're not there so that they don't have to help you at the cash register, and a few days ago I was the only customer and my order of one Crunchwrap took something like 10 minutes. Admittedly, they were also helping the drive-through but at one point from overhearing the conversation of the employees behind the counter, I realize that they had forgotten my order. If you're not in a total hurry, I do recommend coming here but don't expect the greatest customer service behind the counter. read more

Yes, I know that KFC/Taco Bell isn't all that great, but this has gotta be the worst. The fried chicken tastes like it's been fried in grease that hasn't been changed in a year, and the tacos taste pretty stale. The service is crap as well--they take forever to prepare your order, even though it can be assembled in a minute. What I don't understand is why the food doesn't taste fresh if they take so long to prep your order. And the icing on the cake--they don't even open past midnight on a weekend night (WTF?!), while the other fast food joints are open later (Del Taco, Jack in the Box, In-N-Out). Fried Chicken never tasted better, or in this case, worse. If I really wanted fast food fried chicken, I would travel to the nearest Popeye's or Church's(actually Church's due to their AMAZING biscuits and mashed potatoes...and did I mention their fried chicken is actually crispy??), no matter the distance. In fact, this KFC is so terrible, I cannot recommend it to anyone, or give it anything more than 0 stars. Fried Chicken is soft and soggy, portions are smaller than usual, potato wedges are often overcooked and overall, the foods just not worth your time, since you can get so much more from Church's, and for less cash too. The only saving grace of this stink-hole of a restaurant is the fact that it's a KFC/TACO BELL combo, meaning that they also serve tasty "authentic, straight-from-America" tacos. Yet, I seem to have a like-hate relationship with this place, seeing as how their tacos look amazingly decent one time, and then end up looking like something spawned from a horror movie another. Seriously, sometimes I am served a tasty taco with the usual(cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, meat), and other times, it feels like I was given slop. In fact, sometimes slop looks better than these tacos. In what way is a half-broken, hard-shelled taco stuffed with a scoop of "what kind of looks like" meat, and a tiny sprinkle of lettuce,and cheese, sans tomatoes and sour cream(taco was supposed to include both), any excuse for me to pay $1.50??? Of course I asked them to include both of the missing ingredients, and they rudely plop the stuff on top of my already half-broken, hard-shelled taco stuffed with crap. Why not just remake the taco?? It's not difficult. I do not really have to go into detail about the service. Let's just say I walked in at 10:20 pm on a day where I clearly had 10 minutes left to order, and as I walk up to the register, the cashier says "We're closed." He most likely was fired, because I have not seen him since, and they have a new guy now, who kindly asked me "How am I doing?" on his first day of work. His kindness will not last, I can guarantee it, because I imagine working at this restaurant takes a toll on one's sanity. Poor guy does not know what he's in for. If you absolutely must have food, head to In-n-Out next to this, or even Del Taco half a mile down the road. If all other options fail, and you're left with KFC/Taco Bell, you better get ready to clean your toilet once you've finished digesting your "food". As for why I still go, sometimes Taco Bell has new items on the menu that pique my taste buds, but every time I order the new items, which taste terrible by the way (black jack taco?? more like taco stuffed with mayo), I always yell at my conscience for bringing me here. Just got my order for the $5 fill-up box with hot wings. Where is my box? They barely filled up my tiny individual-sized container for potato wedges, and three of my hot wings were a little over half the size of the other two. To top it off, something smells like fish. Does Taco Bell serve fish tacos or something? B/c it smells like they use the same deep fryer for both... or the worker who handled the hot wings had some bad sashimi and didn't wash their hands. Absolutely disgusting. I can usually fill up on half the $5 dollar boxes, but I'm still hungry, and I refuse to touch the rest of the food. read more

I rarely eat at Taco Bell...it's my last choice for Mexican food or even fast food. We have Del Taco near UC Irvine, which still isn't good, but better than Taco Bell. This place reassured me why I don't eat at Taco Bell much. I was hungry and around campus and didn't wanna travel far so I walked to Taco Bell. I got the big box meal which comes with a volcano taco, burrito supreme, crunchwrap supreme, cinnamon twists, and a large drink. A shitload of food for $4.99 + tax. I felt like a fat ass eating all that food...=(. I had to kill everything because none of the food would taste good if I saved it and reheated it. Anyway, I just noticed some small things like no other sauces besides mild in the condiments table and no napkins there either. The strawberry soda wasn't working either so it just goes to show how often they check their supplies. I worked fast food for a bit and we were forced to always be on top of our duties. The food I ordered took almost 15 minutes to make! 15 minutes?! This is fast food, this isn't SLOW food..if I want slow food I'll go to a real restaurant and get food there. Anyway, my burrito supreme was more like a bean burrito supreme, the volcano taco is okay same thing as a regular crunch taco except with a red taco shell and "lava" sauce, and the crunchwrap supreme barely had any meat either, not a huge fan of it. read more

Absolute worst "fast food" in irvine. At 8:30 at night they had 3 employees working. It took almost 15 minutes to get my food. JeeZ!

The food is good but some of the workers are so sketchy. On a Saturday afternoon there were these 2 workers who severed me and my friends both in there like 20s. They pretty much had nothing to do when our food came because no one was in the store than all of a sudden they keep glaring at us and won't stop, then later they walk around pretending to clean trash off the ground with a broom even tho the store was spotless and perfectly clean and also they pretended to fix the napkins which had nothing wrong with them which just so happened to be behind my freind who was on his phone and when I look at the workers eyes I see them looking at my friends phone reading his texts. read more

I have visited the location multiple times before but tonight was the first time ever at any Taco Bell establishment my Chalupas literally had a thin line of meat, my friends $1.19 hard shell taco had more beef than my $2.79 Chalupa. I didn't talk to a employee because the employees were in a very crabby mood and talked to my friend in a harsh tone and a grim face and posture when he was going to use a "closed" trashcan. The food is good because it is a franchise but the service is the worst I have ever seen in my life. Every single time I come here, they take literally 30 minutes. I'm not talking, I'm hungry so it feels like 30 minutes, but actually 30 minutes for Taco Bell or KFC food. The workers don't seem to care that everyone in the restaurant is super mad and I think they screw up the orders on purpose to get everyone even madder. About 8 / 10 times, they screw something up on my order and that's probably why it takes 30 minutes for each order. I've complained to corporate but they don't seem to care either. I've sworn I'll never go back to this location again and I have not in months. Go to the Taco Bell / Pizza Hut on Jamboree and you'll be a lot happier. They have great customer service and you'll only have to wait a few minutes for your order to come up.
