Some of the best birria I have ever had! I really love the consistency of this location and the fact that they take phone orders makes it even more convenient to plan ahead. The Raza box ($25) and monster box ($35) are my usual go to menu items, as they have an assortment of tacos and quesadilla. The taco is made with one corn tortilla that seems to have been dipped in consome beforehand and have a good amount of cheese and birria ratio. The quesadilla is packed with birria meat and the consome is the perfect pairing for all the items. I've seen specials occasionally on Instagram so it's worth to follow their page to get updates on their food truck status. Their location recently changed and it's in a not so convenient part of the business park, but the food is still great and their communication with customers should help with any new updates. Wow! I am in love with this birria truck. First things first, the address on Yelp is not the right one. They're not there anymore. They're at 16592 Hale Ave, Irvine. By the District. Make sure you go to the right location. There's plenty of street parking. It is a truck, so no seats or tables, but that's not an issue, just eat in your car LOL. Now the food....one of the best birria I've had. I ordered 2 crunchy tacos with cheese. They were sooooo good. Perfect amount of cheese, meat and the tortilla was crispy just how I like it. The consome, wow! It was very flavorful, tasted like actual consome. Other places it'll either taste like too many condiments/spices or watered down. This one though was 100% consome. I don't dip my tacos, I sip on my consome, so I did add a little lime, but still was able to taste how good the actual broth was. I didn't try the green salsa, but my bf liked it, he said it wasn't spicy. The red one, I did try, and it was perfect for me. It has a little kick at first, but then it's not too bad. Really good salsa though. Highly recommend the red for the tacos. They also have Mexican sodas, Coke, Sprite, Jarritos, and I forgot what else. The service is great. Let me tell you about cinco de mayo and taco Tuesday this year when we finally decided to try this food truck that we see every week by the district and always say--'we need to try it' Finally! Omg so upset we took so long to try. I went after work and messaged thru instagram to find out where he was located. In the bend behind where you usually see him. If you're craving birria tacos, this place is worth a try! It's not my #1, but they do a good job! I came here on a Friday evening around 7/7:30, and we ordered the Raza Box to share between 2 people. They told us it would take about 45 minutes! So we walked over to Jam Jam and bought some boba drinks and came back to wait. The truck is located near Barranca x Jamboree (basically across the street from In-n-Out). There are no tables or seating to eat there since most of their customers take their food to-go. We sat on the ground right in front of the closed business and enjoyed the tacos fresh. I was worried by the time we got home, they would get soggy. The tacos were slightly crunchy still, saucy, and very flavorful! The consommé is not as strong as other birria spots, so I drank it more than I dipped. The quesadilla was nice and cheesy, and we ended up bringing 2 slices of quesadilla back home. In short, pretty bomb birria truck with generous portions of meat. The truck itself is in an office parking lot near the District, with plenty of parking nearby. I came on a Wednesday after work; I (and presumably others) was getting food on the way from work to eat at home. Otherwise if you want to eat here, your car is the ambiance and dining area. I got a burrito and some consomme, plus a quesadilla for the next day. The burrito was *packed* with beef and tasted super pleasantly meaty. I think I counted like six beans total and a bite of rice otherwise, pleasantly surprised by the filling ratios. Salsas were tasty and pleasantly spicy, consommé was flavorful and just oily enough. If you take something home I highly recommend crisping it up in a pan before inhaling. I was in and out in about 15 minutes with no line. Two huge freshly made items plus a medium consommé (which is about the size of a medium soft drink) was about $30. When it gets busy you'd probably be better off calling in an order and picking it up. I'm looking forward to the quesadilla for dinner later on, and I'll definitely be back. read more

We went on a Tuesday evening and there was only one order before ours, got our food in under 20 min. -$25 for the raza box with 8 birria tacos, 1 birria quesadilla, 1 small consome. $35 for the monster box with 10 birria tacos, 2 birria quesadillas, medium consome. We decided to do the $35 box because we wanted the bigger consome and we were pretty hungry. It was a lot of food and we didn't finish it we had about 5 of the regular tacos left because the quesadillas are really filling. The consome was a good size but I think if you really like to dip your tacos in it you should probably get the large size. I took off a star because the flavor in the tacos is lacking, in the quesadilla the tortilla soaks up a bit more of the flavor when you bite into it but in the tacos the tortilla is thicker and it doesn't hold in any flavor. Overall I think the flavor in the birria could be better but still it's pretty good. For the price you really can't beat this deal especially if you have a few people to feed. I've been wanting to try this place for so long and finally have gotten around to it. The location is in a random parking lot. When we went, there was absolutely no line or people at all. We got the Raza box which is a good portion for maybe three people. It comes with about 3 to 4 birria quesadilla slices and at least six birria Tacos and a small consome to dip your items in. I would totally come back and get this again and would love to try the Birria pizza. There isn't any seating because it is a truck but a great to go spot. read more

They had two choices of meat only (Birria and carne asada) today not sure if that's normal or they cycle through diff meats? It was a tough choice for me between the quesa Birria or the pizza since it was so unique. After a quick thought process I decided on the pizza as it was more like a flakey crusted pie with Birria inside. It was absolutely worth trying that as it was delicious and came with some really good salsas and limes. The crust was flakey and crispy and went perfectly with the juicy Birria. Get lots of napkins as you will need it. This food truck is usually standing alone across from the District of Irvine on the other side of Barranca pkwy. There's no sitting area as it's just a truck in a parking so the only thing is you will likely have to either stand and eat on the hood of your car or take it home. We tried that and honestly its a great idea for combining the taco and pizza together. The birria was made into a quesadilla and formed in a shape of a pizza. It was around $20 for the whole pizza. It could probably feed around 4-5 people. It was a bit on the greasy side but it was still really good! It came with the onion/cilantro and limes on the side.
