Not only was the order taking forever when originally ordered but by the time I got home. the food was already cold besides the side dish. MIND YOU THE Quesadilla wasn't even cut right!!! Chicken bogus cheese barely. After warming up my food hungry and trying to eat it I called back up to complain and expected some sort of responsibly. Not only was I met with unnecessary attitude, I was told all their bags come with stickers with receipts. Please show me anywhere on this bag where you see that. They said it was made fresh well no it wasn't. They fully knew my order by mind but was trying to tell me to bring the food and or receipt back for a freshly made meal at 12:50pm. Well Steven the manager will hear from me tomorrow about his employee's Adriana & alisia and the fact that the expectation is the customer is expected to drive home, realize they made a mistake after politely asking to make it fresh . And instead of owning up and replacing the meal like any respectable company they will sit and explain how they are in the right. When clearly looking at other reviews. This is a consistent issue. I had gone out to dine with my cousin. The first issue is that we order through a kiosk for the food for dine in. His order somehow got mistaken for an online pickup. So no one came out to say his name. 15 minutes passed so we went to ask and they had the order sitting there. After that, a door dasher came to pick up an order and was told it wasn't ready. 10 minutes passed and he asked again for the order. Again it was just sitting there with no urgency. read more

I have not had good experiences at Taco Bell. That changed today when I went to THIS location. One of the BEST experiences EVER! And the person who made it that way is named Isaac. I wish all people who work in the food industry (or ANY industry) were as great as Isaac! He welcomed you the second you walked into the place. Then he went out of his way to accommodate you. I mentioned to him that I was vegan and he took the time to explain my options and what I could get. Even let me know if one of the drinks was vegan or not. I so appreciated his thoughtfulness and help. And then, before I could even get my money out to pay, the food was on the tray ready to eat! I have never seen service so fast in my life. Went through the drive through as I could see cars in the parking lot, and I saw an Armored bank truck with it's hazards on in the lot as well, as to see that it was currently picking up money at this location so I figured that it was open. However, after a couple minutes of waiting at the order sign, and no responses, I decided to pull around the building to see if maybe I was Wrong and that the building was closed. Instead, I see a full staff of at least 3/4 people literally hiding in the hallways where they can't be seen from the drive through windows around 3:20-3:30pm. There was no sign stating that the location was closed, for the day or even for lunch. I NEVER do reviews as I work customer service and it's awful having someone review you for something you can't control. But with a full staff, and I MADE EYE CONTACT with one member as they were waiving good bye to the security person picking up the cash, but still did not say anything about the location being closed and NO sign??? I ordered food for someone who has a dairy allergy. Two potato tacos, fresco style. I get three tacos and was short another item. The third potato taco was exactly what we didn't want (dairy). They put the incorrect taco into the bag, made two more correct tacos and then sent it out. Management sucks, employees have no idea what they are doing. We ordered a vegetarian nacho fries box and 3 Mexican pizzas. Two Mexican pizzas were great, as expected. One was by far the worst Mexican pizza ever received from a taco bell ever. Firstly, it was smashed (you just made it, what gives?!). Secondly, there was just a careless giant clump of cold beans in the middle of that same pizza. This is the slowest drive threw I've even been in. I never learn my lesson either. I always think that maybe this time it will be normal, but it always takes 15min to get through on a slow day. 20 or more on a busy one. 5:30 on a Saturday is when I was there, so try and avoid the staff that works at that time. Home of the soggy taco! Store #026745. I ordered a $5 box decided to alter that & get 2 crunchy taco instead of those nacho cheese ones cause they fall apart if you look at them funny. That was a mistake since the employees are malicious millennial's that do not care about you or anything for that matter. Let it be known that when you alter an order you create so much more hard work for these employees that they have no other choice but to destroy what you just paid for. This time instead of shorting me on supplies and giving me a taco with a couple strands of beef in there. They decided to pour water/grease on the tacos making them all soggy. So that when you drive away your less likely to turn around if you don't inspect your bag first. They get a laugh, then if you bring it back the manager he'll give you sarcastic remarks. You have to be made to feel like an a-hole consistently, your the customer that had to change the preset $5 box (how dare you). That seems to be the complete Taco Bell experience. Never made right, cheap out on materials, or give you something that was made an hour before you decided you wanted to eat at Taco Bell. It is consistent at Shorewood and the other Plainfield location. That is why I traveled to this location.
