Tacos were amazing and ready in a few minutes. Great place to spend the afternoon with the outdoor seating too.

Many different restaurants have occupied this building over the years, this is one that should be here for a long time, First and most important is the food is very good. Nice menu of Mexican food plus hamburgers and hot dogs are also on the menu. Beverages are mostly bottles and canned drinks, coffee and juice drinks are also available. Very small dinning room 16 seats 2 tables and some counter seats. Small but adequate parking. Street parking is allowed on 13th street on side opposite the building. There is no drive through window My visit was on a Friday evening. They were busy service was a little slower but not bad wait. Little out of the way of major streets but worth it

No extra charge pickled jalapeños, carrots and onions

This is a very fine fast food restaurant. Clearly family owned and operated well. They are giving Taco Heaven a run for my money. Fresh tasty large portions. The steak burrito is as delicious as it is large for $7.99. There's no extra charge for the pickled jalapeños, carrots and onions. Family friendly, clean indoor and outdoor seating is available. The last time at Taco Heaven may have been my last time period.

Great, authentic Mexican good spot here. We ordered the breaded steak torta, steak taco, and steak burritos. Salsas were tasty. Horchata was good, too. Everyone really enjoyed their meal! We appreciated eating in their little patio. Best of all was that the family was super attentive, warm and helpful! Going back for sure.

Once seated, our waiter took our drink orders and they made good cocktails. Then, we ordered an appetizer and dinner at the same time for ease. Then...we waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, we asked about our appetizer and they said it would be coming out soon. People who were seated after us got served but our food hadn't come. And we waited. The food was delicious when we got it, but it took a really long time. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu and I'd give it a 10 out of 10 for flavors- Torro carne asada! The queso fundido and the tacos were also delicious! When they brought the bill, it was clear they knew the experience overall wasn't great because they put two cards for $10 off two meals but didn't say anything about the experience. I would have appreciated a gesture during the time we were there - an appetizer, a drink, another thing to try, just to say, sorry about the wait and we value you and your experience, but that didn't happen. We were so excited to have a new place, but I don't think we'll go back.

Will dine in again very soon. Oh... the most important- the prices were very reasonable compared to others in the area.

FUNDIDO FOR YOU & ME…read more Melty cheese is always a hit, and Burritos Mi Tierra does it better than most. In picking our date nights, my wife and I alternate between trying new places and revisiting a dozen or so "greatest hits". If we find ourselves in the mood for tried-and-true margaritas, we'll come to this family-owned restaurant in Romeoville about a mile south of I-55 on Weber Rd. Their house chips & salsa are awesome--the green salsa is milder while the red salsa is hotter. You can get a large margarita frozen or on-the-rocks ($15), but expect them to be strong either way. My wife enjoys their Michelada ($9), a drink similar to a bloody mary that's made with beer instead of vodka. We always get the queso fundido con chorizo ($10.75), a marvelously greasy appetizer that comes with corn or flour tortillas. Sometimes our tummies are fine afterwards, sometimes the grease goes through us like an angry lightning bolt. It's so good I'll happily suffer the consequences the next day, IDGAF. Bread = 4.5 Circuses = 4.5 Tacos al pastor ($3.50/ea) get a thumbs-up, however the tampiqueña ($22) was a little disappointing. I know skirt steak is generally a tougher cut, but this was greyer and chewier than what I've gotten at other places. It was served with an enchilada, rice, beans, lettuce and tomato. The best thing on the menu is unquestionably the burrito suizas ($11), a gigantic 1-1/2lb burrito filled with meat, beans, veggies and sour cream with melted cheese on top. It's as tasty as it is massive and will feed a hungry person for two meals! Their vanilla flan ($4.50) is pretty good, too. * TL;DR * Burritos Mi Tierra is one of our favorite Mexican spots in the area, and the unexpected closure of Naperville's On the Border (R.I.P) means we'll probably come back here more often. Service has been consistent, the décor is cute, and their margaritas are some of the best around. Queso fundido and burrito suizas are standout dishes, authentic and fairly-priced. We hope these guys remain in business for a long time! Muy recomendable.
