Nice menu of Mexican food plus hamburgers and hot dogs are also on the menu. Beverages are mostly bottles and canned drinks, coffee and juice drinks are also available. Very small dinning room 16 seats 2 tables and some counter seats. Small but adequate parking. Street parking is allowed on 13th street on side opposite the building. Brand new place just opened yesterday unfortunately I had to work so I was unable to go on opening day. They are having a special till 29 October two dollar tacos you cannot beat that. If you remember sizzles that used to be in the building, it looks pretty much like it except now they are serving Mexican food. I believe they still have hotdogs and hamburgers though, but I would definitely go for the good Mexican food. It's very clean inside and bright and the kitchen seems very efficient. I tried for tacos Pollo (chicken), Carne Asada, pork and chorizo. I only opted for the hot salsa, so I can only attest to that it is spicy now for the tacos All tacos were served on double corn tortillas. They were perfectly soft and delicious. I ordered all the tacos with everything which includes onions and cilantro. There were also limes included. The first taco I enjoyed was chorizo. it was hot and cooked to order and was not greasy at all many times with chorizo. You get an oily residue of the grease or the drippings in the spices. It was not dry by any means, but it was not messy at all. My next taco was the chicken or Pollo taco. The meat was fresh and hot and juicy. I was very pleased with the Doggo and would have it again. I squeezed a little lime on it and it brought out the flavors. The next taco I tried was the pork wow as soon as I took my first bite, I was hit with different flavor profiles it worked. It was delicious the best one so far I didn't even get a chance to put lime on it and it was amazing. Lastly, I had the Carne Asada steak taco. It was a little bit dry definitely not as good as the pork one or the chicken for that matter I would say it is average. Overall, especially for the price paid this was an exceptional lunch. The star of the day was the pork taco. It surprised me, but it was delicious. I would order those again in a heartbeat, the chorizo it was not overly oily like summer. It did not make a mess, and it tasted delicious thirdly, the chicken taco was moist and tasted delicious as well, I probably won't order steak tacos there anymore because there are so many other options There is more than just tacos, exorbitant amount of drinks, including aqua freshas plus a large amount of canned bottled beverages, as well as coffee, and Horchata. Their new business give them a chance I'm sure you will like them. They're a bit out-of-the-way, but the parking lot is plentiful and easy to park in and it's worth the trip. read more

I chose this place for lunch while visiting the area because of its rating. I'm only going to add to that. It's WELL deserved! The food was incredible. Homemade tortillas and the best "lemonade" I think I've ever had. That's what it's called in Spanish, green or yellow. Mine tasted more like lime, but again, amazing! The food was outstanding and the service wonderful. Both the woman who served our outdoor table, and the young man who works there and offered to help me get a wheelchair in the back of my car when he saw me struggling. Great, authentic Mexican good spot here. We ordered the breaded steak torta, steak taco, and steak burritos. Salsas were tasty. Horchata was good, too. Everyone really enjoyed their meal! Had lunch @ 1135 am, they open @ 11am. Ordered pork burrito and steak tacos. Pork was much better then the steak but wished it was al pastor style. Steak was a bit dry and tasted like reheated cooked meat. Sauces they had weren't spicy enough. Horchata was good as it was not too sweet. Total of 3-4 tables inside and some outdoor seating. Probably should've ate outside as there was an annoying kid hitting a ballon around and it eventally flew into me three times while eating. The mom had no control on her kid and just kept on her phone or eating. Mom, pop and son operation w/ plenty of parking. Won't be back. read more

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have ever eaten at! It is the most authentic small restaurant that I know outside of Mexico. The ambience is that of a small family-run operation. The service is fast and warm. The food, the food! I had the goat and it was absolutely delicious. My three dining companions were equally impressed with their dishes. Between games at a nearby soccer tournament, my son and I stopped in for a quick bite. Though incredibly small with two four tops and some seating along the window, the food is worth it. I had steak and pastor tacos and my son went with the typical gringo cheese quesadilla. The tacos were exceptional. The steak was fantastic and the pastor was almost shredded. Highly recommend.
