My Family placed an order from our phone for pick up, we set the order for drive-through pick up, and picked up our food through drive-through. We then checked to make sure that we got everything we ordered, and found that we were missing a green sauce burrito and an empanada. we went into the store to report the error, and get our missing items. The staff told us that they were out of one of the sauce for the green burrito, and they were out of empanadas, so they just did not put them in our bag. We asked if we could get a refund on those items, or at least get something to replace them, and was informed that since we did an online order, they could not refund them. So then we naturally asked if we could replace the items, to which the staff member replied "I don't know what you want me to do ". My wife then said could we have a different item to replace those, and said how about just a burrito of similar price, and cinnamon twist for the missing empanada. The staff member then made the poorest excuse for a burrito that one could do; it was basically a tortilla with two or three chunks of chicken, and like four sprinkles of cheese, and then threw it on our bag. My wife then asked again if she could have the cinnamon twist for the missing empanada, and the staff member replied "why don't you just take what I gave you." befuddled my wife just said how about you give me the cinnamon twist, or you tell me how you can make this right. The staff member then said "I can't get to you the cinnamon twist, because I don't have gloves on " at that point, we just left. i'm generally not wanting to complain about stuff like this. I know people have bad days, and I know sometimes at a fast food joint, that things are just difficult. But this is not the first time I've had a experience like this at this particular store. I only eat Taco Bell 3 times a year, this is probably why. They were out of about a quarter of the menu, including what I wanted to order. They were out of $1 bills, so I had to have handful of change! And food was just ok! What a waste of time and money! read more

Cinnamon twists taste like rancid oil! 110% complete disappointment. Either change your oil regularly or stop making cinnamon twists at this location. They also need to put the recommended cinnamon twist powder on them because it was limited at best. This was one of those you have got to be kidding me moments. We went in at 8:01pm qto taco bell on sycamore in Kokomo and got the worst service ever, we were getting our drinks and tasted the sweet tea and it tasted moldy another customer over heard us say it didn't taste right and jumped in to agree BUT when we told the cashier her response was "no one else has said anything" even though 3 of us where standing in front of her telling her. And insult to injury this fast food took OVER 45 minutes. And when asked about our order it was pass the buck time. Needless to say it will be awhile if ever before I go back. read more

Went to this location twice with a friend. When this friend's boyfriend visited this location, the manager reported that my friend and I had harassed this store "like five times" that night and that their supervisors were mad about them handing out too much sauce to customers. This is a response to my friend and I asking for more sauce packets after they had given us 7 sauce packets for four items and claimed that she was not allowed to give more than she had already given. I know this is all super trivial, but this is just so stupid that they made such a big deal out of telling us how to enjoy our meal. They could have charged more, but they simply refused our request. This has to be the worst Taco Bell location in the region. Even having only gone there twice in the last three months, both times were terrible experiences. First visit: We ordered something like $40 worth of food at a late hour. Check our order and half of it is missing, to which we pull back around and are told, "take it up with corporate, we're preparing to close." Mind you, there was still over an hour until close, but they refused to deal with us either way and threatened to call the cops if we didn't pull out of the drive thru. The food we did get was awful. None of the tacos has meat, the burritos were not only cold, but were small and mangled. As I said, about $12 worth of the food was missing. I tweeted about it and a Taco Bell rep told me they had looked into it and had talked to the employee, and said they were sending me something to make up for it. A week later I received a crisp $5 coupon in the mail.... -_- Second Visit: Trying out the new mobile app for the first time. Have already had issues with the taco bell across town. Put a second order in at this location and head over. When we arrive we're told they're not accepting credit cards and we say, "fine, we're just picking up a mobile order." They look and claim they have no mobile order on file. We offer to pull up and show them the confirmation, but they say no. Then there is a dead silence for about 10 seconds and I say, "so can you refund my money on this then?" to which the employee replies, "how the fuck am I supposed to refund your money if there is no order in the system, idiot?" So all in all I drive around for Taco Bell last night and was insulted at both places. But this one is particularly bad. Also, it is worth noting that all of the Taco Bells in Kokomo are significantly higher than the prices advertised at the corporate level. So for example, those nifty $5 boxes actually cost $6 here. Taco Bell allows franchisers to do this because in larger markets the cost for labor and goods are literally higher to produce these items, but this is a town of 60,000 with some of the lowest cost of living statistics in the country. So this price is basically driven by franchiser greed in this area. read more

This place is in need of a serious remodel. Decor is circa 1980s Taco Bell with pastel colors and swivel chairs. It's just worn out. I visited during lunch and there wasn't much traffic, but there were little signs of counters not wiped that indicated a lack of caring. But when the place is as run down as it is, I guess cleanliness slides a little. My food came fast but was a bit cold which had been one of my gripes about Taco Bell. I tried the new flatbread and I won't order again. The bread is mushy and the meat was overwhelmed by the overly spicy sauce. I added one star because the woman at the register is a character. Like getting a show before the meal. Although the guy back in the kitchen who let out a big belch needs some redirection. Wish I would have went to DQ nearby. I like Taco Bell. To anyone with food allergies, good luck. I ordered my food with no sour cream and no cheese...I was one of about three customers at the restaurant and it took almost 20 minutes to make a burrito and a taco. When I finally received my food, I ate half of the burrito before realizing that there was sour cream buried in it. After bringing it to the attention of the cashier, I received no more than a quiet apology. I don't know what in God's creation was in that burrito other than sour cream but I am currently writing this from my toilet where I have been spilling my intestines out through my anus for the past hour and a half. Every five minutes it feels like my stomach is being expanded to the point of popping and then what happens next can be described like this: it sounds and feels like I'm peeing out of my rear end. I ordered a grilled stuffed chicken barrido and got a beef one instead. It did not taste very good as it was very sloppy and filled with to much fillings. My chicken quesodilla shell was hard around the edges and they cut it unevenly and one section had no meat in it. The diet Mt. Dew has a medicine taste to it. read more

The last 3 times i have been to this location it has been bad. The first two were just slow service. This time I ordered from the kiosk. I ordered the double taco chipotle cheddar and the reaper ranch. Later the guy called me up said they did not have the reaper ranch sauce. Do I want two of the chipotle instead. I said that was ok. I received my order and got 2 of the nacho double tacos and no chipotle cheddars. The guy that got his food was missing items. So slow service, messed up orders, and not having the stuff to make the new items. What's the matter with the management here. I don't care if they are the closest to me. Stopped in on my lunch break- too many cars in the drive thru so decided to go in. Ordered a Mexican pizza and drink to go. There were only 4 or 5 people working and they were pretty slow but I wasn't mad and I didn't complain. I had probably been waiting 10-15 minutes? The district manager was there- he rolled up his sleeves, put on a hat, and started helping. I was really happy to see this! Way to help out your team!
