Mash potatoes were too starchy for me (tasted like left over baked potatoes). Jen got tenders. Dry but tasty. We come here once a year when these guys have their reunion in Peru. Be back next year.

It was far from the limited menu and "See here is our brewery equipment" place. Researching their website, we were convinced this was the place to be on our "chasin' racin'" weekend. My companion noticed that the clientele was quite diverse. I noted that also. We both agreed it was a sign of a thriving establishment. Autumn was our server and she was a lot of fun. Conversant, knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive, she was just great. One of my sides was a Caesar Salad. It was copious to the point that I could not finish it when it was appropriately brought out ahead of time. As a diabetic, I am concerned about carbs, but the Alaskan Whitefish grabbed me . While my plate was messy, I peeled off the coating and enjoyed the nice tender fish inside. In Tennessee, corn pudding is different than what they brought me, but it was wonderful. Bread pudding of the day was S'mores. I had my fill, brought home the rest and my family loved it. Local history was abundant. The menu held an article on local history and the lobby had many historic photos of local interest. I took many photos of them for remembrance. Chances are I will never return to Kokomo. But if I do go back. This is where I will dine.

I got hot wings and asked them not to put very much sauce on them. They serve them with ranch dressing. I decided to try a Coney dog while I was waiting for the wings. It had mustard, onions and Coney sauce. It was excellent. All that with a large Diet Coke and the total came to $18.50. A delicious lunch. Also check out the menu and pictures here. I look forward to coming back with my son and sharing a Coney dog with him and also trying out the pizza and other menu items! I met the owners, Yogi and Ruth. Two amazing people who just want to take good care of their customers and see people leave satisfied.

The shells weren't cooked long enough they will flimsy And they wanted to charge 1.74 per packet of hot sauce for the tacos. I will never be back or recommend this place to anyone and I've ate there a few times and always had good food. It's really went down hill. Also the girl working said we can bring them back and get new ones , but if she even cooks the shells longer is the hamburger still going to taste like old hamburger. I hope me and my coworkers don't get sick from that bad tasting meat. I had to rate a one star to be able to post this review because they don't deserve any stars.

Michigan technically has one Cane's location now, but it's on a busy college campus, so I try to get my fix elsewhere when I'm traveling. My fiancé ordered the Box Combo which includes four tenders, coleslaw, Texas toast, fries, and a drink. I ordered the Three Fingers Combo which had three tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink (no coleslaw). My future father-in-law ordered the same meal I got, and my fiancé's aunt and uncle split a Caniac Combo, which has six chicken fingers. Everything was very good per usual. My only complaint is that there was a little bit of fat or gristle in one of the chicken fingers. Other than that everything was tasty and delicious. I usually get the sweet tea when I'm at a Cane's as well but this time I opted for root beer, since we had a long drive home ahead of us. There was also a lot of outdoor space as other reviews here have mentioned - the main dining room is a little bit small, we went around 1:30 p.m. at lunch time and it was about 70% full, but it's very spread out as well. The outdoor space would be nice when it's a little bit warmer out, although it was like 70 degrees out today. Overall everything was very good and I will definitely come back the next time we visit my fiancé's parents.
