WORST TACO BELL!!!! I don't know where to start. They should shut down this location and open up a new fast food franchise. Not joking, every time I come here expecting it to be different it isn't, in fact it's worse. A handful of times I showed up they say welcome to Taco Bell it's gonna take 30 minutes for your order just so you know. Or they completely leave food out of your drive-through bag. Or simply say we're not open right now during business hours. Today I thought I would outsmart everyone and do a DoorDash order for pick up. I arrive at the restaurant only to see a hand written sign that the lobby is closed drive-through is open only. So here I am in a long drive-through line to pick up my take-out order. I've been here maybe eight times and I would say five out of the eight times there has been a problem. I wish they would open up another location. Would give this place a negative five star review if I could. We went there a little before 9 pm. When we got to the window and paid for a good sized order, I was amazed that the food was ready to go. Our three crunchy tacos, two burritos, two cheese wraps and cinnamon twists were all crammed into one medium sized bag. When we got home, I noticed the taco juices had bled through the bottom of the bag and made a small mess on my car floor. When I opened the bag and took out the hard tacos, they were all mushy on the bottom. Instead of making them when we got there, they had obviously sat around quite a while before we ordered them. In all my years of going to a Taco Bell, I never was served such disgusting tacos! If you don't want your car to smell like a taco and you prefer freshly made tacos, I suggest never going to this Taco Bell. I have never had a worse experience At a fast food place. when I placed my order the guy taking it had aggression in his voice and seemed agitated. He rushed my order and acted as if he was doing me a favor... first off the older woman working the first window was amazing after pulling forward to the second window the guy that took my order (bigger guy with tattoos) forced my drink at me, did not greet me and spilled the drink in my hand. As he walked away he got on the phone and then sent a younger kid to hand me my food. I wish I got names but I was greeted through the drive through by the most friendliest person I've ever met. It quickly turned my hangry into a smile. Orders are always filled incorrectly. You might have the item (items if you're lucky) you may or may not have ordered. You still get charged the same for their lack of effort. I'm THE biggest Taco Bell fan. They can do no wrong, so I thought until I got stuck with the Lakeway TB. I'm not sure what's wrong with them, or with me for trying them again and again, hoping my last experience was just a bad day. Apparently a bad day there happens 365 days a year. Today, I bit into my burrito supreme and 1/3 was just a huge pocket of sour cream. I wish I could say this was the only item that was bad, but chips were stale (again) and most of my food was smashed in the to go bag. I swear when they put your poorly constructed food to go into a bag, they pay someone to jump on it before they hand it through the window. I had to eat a lot of my Taco Bell with a fork. This is the absolute worst TB I've ever had. Whether it's management or employees, there is something very wrong here. DO NOT go there. Consume roadkill before hitting this Taco Bell up. Despite being regularly busy and a little slow, this location's employees are consistently friendly and and go above and beyond. One girl in front of me couldn't move her car to pull up to the window, and I watched her inform the employee at the window (presumably that her vehicle had broken down,) to which he and a coworker than ran to assist, jumping out the dive-thru window, pushing her car, and STILL delivering her food all in under a minute. I was stunned, watched the employees JOG BACK INTO THE BUILDING and then deliver my food with a smile. 10/10 would reccomend every time. read more

PMy kids think taco bell is the greatest place on earth! Unfortunately this taco bell rarely gets their order correct and the side of rice my son orders (always) routinely contains less than 1 tsp of rice in it. Its sad to say this because i love the crew that works during the days and mornings but the night crew working 11/04/20 at 8:30 pm needs MAJOR help. They were very impolite, not in uniform, making faces, shaking their heads, and rolling their eyes. They locked the doors on 2 customers before their lobby closed. One employee there is male, white, short, with blonde hair and he was doing the most of it and on top of all of it they had music blasting so you could barely hear anything going on. 5 star customer service served with a smile! A minor mistake was more than fixed-- the staff went above and beyond to let us keep the yummy entree (Power Bowl that just wasn't quite what we ordered, then prepared us a hot and fresh new meal exactly to our specifications! Even though we could tell the cashier was new, they had a great attitude and you could tell was trying to learn. Nothing wrong with training new staff, in fact it was a sign that Taco Bell Lakeway is improving. The manager was there too and very kind, even threw in a coupon for a free taco! I am rating my last visit to Taco Bell with one star because I was not pleased with the service I received. on May 5th the afteroon, the drive-through worker was very flustered and very rude, demanding that I insert my card, then quickly jerking it out of my hand and then threw my card in my truck. Second, I did not receive all the items that I ordered. My order was missing a burrito and chips and queso that I ordered. My personal opinion is that employees should try to be more pleasant in these hard times. I'm giving this review a one star even tho it deserves zero stars. read more

It first took him about 15 minutes to even acknowledge that I was at the drive thru speaker, and I should have left then, but i'm hypoglycemic and nauseous and didn't want to have to drive somewhere else. I guess the red flag for today's lunch slapped me right in the face and I just chose to ignore it. But hey, it's Taco Bell. It's not rocket science. Right? Tortilla with choosing of meet, the norm of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and the sauce for that taco. I pull up to the window and the lovely lady apologizes for the wait, I think nothing of it because it actually moved a lot faster than I expected as I then reply to her apology with, "it's lunch time rush".... The slap in the face you ask? She then rebuttals with "everyone except for the GM is going through training".... OH? "Well then there's that" I add. Again, it's not rocket science... Or so I thought. I ordered two double chalupas, 1 regular and the other with chicken. What do I get? 2 Gordita crunch flower thick tortillas (no hard shell shall I add), even wrapped in gordita paper, all looking like it was just thrown together. Hey, it's food, it's all going to be mashed together chomping towards my gut anyway, but really? No chalupa people. Where it really became an issue was me calling to the store to explain the issue so that it can be corrected going forward. This could be for everyone who has and will come to the store today. But the line just rings. And rings. And rings. No answer until it just beeps as if it is going to have me leave a voice mail, but for whom? And how do I know I'm not just speaking to a silent abyss of nothingness? I could go on about how I work in customer service managing high importance partners and so on.... But this isn't about that, there's just simple things like, if the entire store/staff is training, why is there no one experienced from other stores to oversee process. Why is the GM not standing out either at the counter or in the window to ensure things are correct. Why are the orders not being repeated, or the bags looked into, to make sure satisfaction is guaranteed? Like, there are so many questions that just need answered. So here I am, typing this long shpill (spell check) of disdain for something I REALLY wanted to enjoy. Or at least to have someone make it right (pre and post order/literally and figuratively) and nothing. Just nothing. I don't eat a ton of fast food, but the kids and I come through here every so often for lunch. The shift manager there is always on top of his game, and the staff is friendly. The place is clean and service is pretty fast and accurate. My kids always want something off-menu, so it's nice when they get it right. Pretty rare to see a crew take so much pride in their job at a fast food place. The food is what it is, so if you like Taco Bell this one is a good one to visit. read more

The worst, frightening experience, yes you heard right, frightening. We have been coming to this Taco Bell for over 10 years. Never an issue. We went there this past Saturday, October 12th at around 4pm central time. We ordered 2 fresco tacos and one crunchy taco supreme. While waiting we noticed the manager yelling at his employees that 'I can't take this anymore' and 'WHY DON'T YOU PAY ATTENTION'. Once we got our food, 2 tacos in one color of wrapper other taco in a different color one. We open them and think that we got 3 al fresco ones due to the packaging. My husband, a veteran, btw, goes up to ask about the tacos and that we didn't have the crunchy supreme one. The manager raises his voice and keeps repeating, 'LIKE I SAID, LIKE I SAID' 'I MADE IT, I MADE YOUR TACO' interrupting my husband, who mind you was talking like a normal person. Manager then literally stormed over to our table where I was sitting and opened the tacos. We realized it was our mistake and that we did indeed have a supreme it was just in the wrong wrapper. Manager then stuck his finger in one of the tacos breaking it. He rolled his eyes and gave me an indignant look. I actually apologized to him and nothing. He was beyond angry. The people next to us where staring as was most of the restaurant. It was embarrassing, humiliating and scary. We ended up leaving. This person should under no circumstances be in this position. We actually work in customer service and this situation should have gone down totally differently. With him listening when my husband went up there, saying 'I'm so sorry, let's take a look', coming over and confirming we did have the right order, saying 'it's ok' etc. He is not fit to be coached, he is an extremely angry man that can get violent in 2 seconds flat. We will never visit this place again as long as he's there. Beware, especially if you have children and he's working. I don't know his name because he refused to speak to us. read more

I frequent this location and it seems they get my order right only 50% of the time or my food is a mess when I get it. Tonight my food was cold, I asked for no tomatoes but there was a lot of tomatoes on my food and the girls working the drive thru were acting silly while taking my order. When I got to the window, they were laughing so much they couldn't really talk to me. Very unprofessional.
