Man. They are CONSISTENT With terrible food. Gave them another go and found myself more disappointed than before. Desperately needs new management. Wish I could give zero stars but that'd be too much.

Horrible prices, food, service, and management. Go across the parking lot to giant grocery store and buy your taco kit to make at home!!!

It's Taco Bell. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Sometimes, when I have the munchies, it's amazing.

5 Stars - Something Truly Special…read more This place is something special. A friend of mine told me about it -- and he is not easy to impress when it comes to restaurants. He's usually the guy who finds something to critique. So when he described this place as "incredible," "authentic," "unbelievable," and "special," I honestly couldn't believe how highly he was praising it. Then I went. I was absolutely blown away. From the moment I walked in, the energy felt warm and welcoming. The service wasn't just good -- it was genuine. The staff treated me like family. They kept bringing out dishes for me to try, excited to share their food. I didn't even pay for some of it -- and I actually insisted on paying because it was just too good not to. (And yes... I wanted more.) The food? Incredible. Authentic Honduran cooking that completely won me over. I'm from New York City, where you're spoiled with diversity and world-class restaurants on every corner. Lancaster has some solid spots, but this? This competes with -- and honestly beats -- many places I've had in NYC. I genuinely couldn't believe it. The atmosphere was festive, vibrant, and full of heart. You can tell this isn't just a business -- it's pride, culture, and passion on a plate. Give this place your money. They deserve every cent. The servers are top-notch, the food is unforgettable, and the experience feels personal. They've earned a loyal customer. I'll be back -- many times.

I didn't see an alcohol menu so I took a chance and grabbed a bottle of wine to take along. It was busy enough on a Friday evening but not a full restaurant. Too busy for one server doing all front of house duties though. I don't think this restaurant or the last occupant have done anything to the interior space although there were less tables in the lower dining room. The menu is large but not descriptive. On a day when the server isn't getting slammed I get the feeling that he'd love to offer verbal descriptions but during our visit it was not going to happen. Anyway, on to the food which was all quite good. The sauces were the star for me. Birria empanadas (GF) were excellent. That Birria consommé was worth the entire trip! The carnitas tacos were flavorful with generous portions. The mofongo platter was huge. Needless to say, we have enough leftovers for another few meals. It's worth a visit.

We decided to give it a try because it had great reviews and I'm so glad we did. The place was very clean and welcoming. We stared at the menu for a min and my daughter had the bowl with the chicken thighs. I had the bowl with short rib and my father and husband tried a variety of the tacos. They tried the shrimp, chicken and short rib tacos. They really enjoyed the shrimp out of all of them. My favorite was the pickled veggies they were so good and put the bowl over the top in flavor. The service was great and they were patient with when we were deciding on what to try and gave recommendations. The food didn't take long and came out hot and was plated so nicely. I really enjoyed my food and the experience and the next time I'm in the area I will definitely be back.

The flavor on the short rib taco was excellent, but the meat, although saucey, was dry and overcooked. The pork belly was undercooked (cool in the middle) but again - flavors were great. The chicken was our least favorite flavor wise but not bad at all - the cilantro lime crema was a little overwhelming (we got a generous amount when I would have preferred a drizzle) - chicken was cooked perfectly - the char was nice - but flavor balance fell a little short. The acid from the slaw was great, but the taco as a whole was 2 dimensional. I wonder if this was an "off day" or a slow week where we got food that was sitting or was reheated from the day before. This is the impression I got from the short rib - the pork belly was pre prepped and then flash grilled - it needed to grill longer to get the crispy edge and heat all the way through. Anyway - I think the concept has a lot of potential but the execution was lacking.
